Restaurant Bar Breakfast restaurant Pub

😐 I live in Scotland but I grew up in Haverhill, I come back down every so often to see friends and family and since I work for Wetherspoon I often go into a Wetherspoons wherever I am (discount lol). I come in here a few times for every time I’m down and every time I have been in the pub has been so... People often mention good,

We had our assistance dog sat outside the area the pub pays rent on which is actually public land and gave us a gross attitude telling us the dog isn't allowed despite me checking with bar staff that placing the dog outside the area while we sat just inside it was fine. Also according to weatherpoons own rules they have to place adequate signage of at least 2 signs informing us of the disallowance of dogs which were not there and the fact is my dog is ab assistance dog and should be allowed inside if I so require. I was being considerate by asking and accommodating them not wanting him inside

If you are opting for the larger breakfast because you want the mushrooms, don't bother, you only get a small one. The food we had wasn't hot, so we were disappointed. Not tempted to get another one. They usually do good value for money but not in this case.

I live in Scotland but I grew up in Haverhill, I come back down every so often to see friends and family and since I work for Wetherspoon I often go into a Wetherspoons wherever I am (discount lol). I come in here a few times for every time I’m down and every time I have been in the pub has been so dirty. There’s always dirty glasses on every table, the floor is a mess, tables dirty etc. Service is mediocre, most of the staff do not look happy/approachable (I understand it can be a very draining job, I am a manager so 100% understand but customer service is key to this job) The wait on food and drinks (iorder) can be long sometimes, always seem to have only 1 or 2 people on the floor. Every-time I’ve had food it’s been good, have definitely had worse! Overall it’s an okay pub, it’s nowhere near as good as other ones I’ve been to.

Excellent service. Friendly staff.. food was good. Chef came over with our food and asked if he should cook me another piece of fish as mine looked like a crocodile, or so he thought. 😁He had even stood it up for me, so it resembled the crocodile!! I declined his offer as it really didn't matter what it looked like as long as it tasted great, which it did.. Only downfall is no hot chocolate, which seems nothing new in weatherspoons...

Very small overcrowded seating area, if you like noisey chatter then this is the place for you.

Waste time. Dirty and rude manager. But the girl work in the bar she is lovely that's why they still have one star. We had burn mixed grill and also dirty cutlery is well. I try to spoke to the rude manager. But that makes me want to leave this place never seen the pub manager this rude. We were regular customer my daughter love to came to this pud but we will not came back again.

For it's size Haverhill has quite a few pubs and some of them pretty good. Wetherspoons can be hit or miss but the Drabbit is definitely a hit. The usual good value grub and beer but it's also a very well run pub, with hard working staff and a lovely buzz of locals enjoying themselves.

Dirty table. We requested 3 different dishes and they had none of the ingredients for any of them. We walked out and went to a local cafe.

Love this place, good plain food (all-day breakfast) and the beer always seems fresh (Lager), probably due to the high turnover! Very popular!

👍 Had to review my review again as I feel something has changed for the better. The quality of the food that's coming out of the kitchen has improved. The plates are not as cold as previously stated in my last review of the place. Staff are and have always been friendly and helpful and the only thing...
