I
have
been
completely
paralyzed
since
2016
and
this
physiotherapy
practice
is
excellent
for
fine-tuning
my
gait
or
balancing
or
improving
muscular
imbalances.
I
have
gotten
to
know
a
lot
of
physio
practices
over
the
years
and
have
been
to
a
few
rehabilitation
facilities,
so
I
can
say
that
you
are
in
very
good
hands
here.
I
was
in
a
wheelchair
for
three
years
until
I
was
able
to
walk
again
using
a
walker/forearm
crutches.
My
level
of
paralysis
is
in
the
lumbar
region,
so
my
legs
are
very
badly
affected
by
the
paralysis.
Unfortunately,
I
couldn't
really
train
my
abductors
and
my
hamstring
muscles
in
a
gym
because
the
weights
only
started
at
2.5kg
or
some
machines
only
started
at
5kg
and
the
increase
only
happened
in
2.5kg
increments.
My
own
bodyweight
exercises
for
the
abductors
never
worked
for
me
and
so
I
was
very
frustrated
about
it.
I
have
been
with
Aktiwell
since
2022
and
have
had
success
in
the
abductor
and
hamstring
area
for
the
first
time,
as
the
fitness
equipment
is
very
futuristic.
The
devices
in
this
practice
have
the
advantage
that
they
can
be
adjusted
very
precisely
to
your
body
and
thus
the
target
muscles
can
be
hit
precisely.
The
devices
are
connected
to
a
computer
that
display
the
tempo
of
the
repetitions.
If
you,
as
an
incomplete
paraplegic,
are
able
to
access
the
devices
independently
and
need
some
fine-tuning,
these
devices
are
excellent!
I'm
so
grateful
for
these
machines,
so
I
can
finally
start
training
my
abductors
and
hamstrings
with
so
little
weight
and
steadily
increase
with
small
increases
in
weight
(e.g.
0.5kg
steps).
However,
the
main
reason
why
I
became
aware
of
the
physio
practice
was
the
gait
robot.
I
have
already
had
other
physiotherapy
sessions
on
an
anti-gravity
treadmill
(Alsterdorf),
which
I
can
also
recommend,
but
this
device
is
the
perfect
device
for
fine-tuning
your
gait
or
transitioning
from
running
with
forearm
crutches
to
real
running.
In
other
words,
if
you
can
already
stand
a
little
freehand,
but
just
can't
make
the
transition
to
proper
running!
The
gait
robot
is
also
useful
for
patients
with
other
neurological
diseases
or
poor
gait.
However,
one
should
be
incompletely
paraplegic
and
not
completely
paraplegic.
You
are
pulled
up
on
ropes
and
can
determine
or
vary
the
load
on
your
lower
body
yourself.
This
allows
you
to
continually
improve.
You
can
also
vary
the
speed
and
thus
provide
further
training
stimuli!
So
far
I
have
only
been
able
to
feel
my
deep
muscles
in
my
legs
with
this
gait
robot/device
and
I
have
never
had
such
soreness
in
the
deep
muscles.
I
am
firmly
convinced
that
this
device
can
be
extremely
helpful
to
many
people
and
will
help
the
gait
pattern
of
incomplete
paraplegics,
stroke
patients
and
people
with
poor
gait
in
general.
The
only
important
thing
is
that
you
actively
participate
and
don't
just
let
the
machine
move
you
along!
You
can
also
generally
register
in
the
fitness
studio
and
use
the
equipment.
I
know
many
fitness
studios
and
can
say
that
the
multi-press
runs
extremely
smoothly.
The
quality
of
the
equipment
is
definitely
the
hallmark
of
this
physio
practice.
As
a
former
martial
artist
and
sports
junkie,
I
feel
very
comfortable
here
:).
In
addition,
the
boss
and
the
team
are
very
friendly
and
helpful.
This
practice
is
excellent
for
me
when
it
comes
to
my
health
problems
and
I
can't
imagine
a
better
one.
I
don't
know
of
any
physio
practice
with
such
good
equipment.
However,
as
in
any
physical
practice,
it
is
up
to
you
what
results
you
achieve.
A
therapist
can
only
show
you
the
way,
you
have
to
walk
it
alone.
Unfortunately
some
patients
overlook
this!
In
this
sense,
“Never
give
up!”
;-)
