I'm night audit & housekeeping here at Avid in Hays. Usually my off days are between switching shifts, but sometimes I do both shifts in a 48 hour period. Those nights/days I LOVE to stay here because we have THE MOST comfortable beds I've EVER slept in! Also, I know that this is one of the cleanest & most sanitary hotels I've ever seen, especially since I take pride in my work, as I know my coworkers do! I could go on & on about all of the great things here at Avid, from the 24/7 freshly ground per cup coffee to the amazing staff team & guests we have!

Pretty alright little place! Rooms don't have all the extra furniture other hotels have, but a lot of space to push bags under and keep them out of the way. The showers were nice. Great for like a quick night stop on your way somewhere else.

Very clean and updated. This is probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever been in. Everything is very updated inside and has a modern feel. The beds were comfy. Breakfast is very simple. We were a little late but there were no hot items for breakfast. Just things you could take like muffins and cereal.

We stayed here while traveling. The shade was MISSING so it was bright and hot in the room during the day and bright and noisy all night!!! The only other Accessible room is on an upper floor which is a serious hazard for people who are wheelchair bound and it has Queen beds not king. Just not the best stay and it was the first stop on a 15 hour trip. Disappointed.

Our room was very modern and clean. Breakfast is average but had variety. Food from the front desk was very reasonably priced. Staff was super friendly. We had an issue after our first night with our room keys not working but they got it fixed right away. A fantastic affordable hotel!

Melissa was awesome. She assigned us an excellent room on the first floor for our dog. Melissa helped me with some amenities that we needed and made excellent restaurant suggestions and provided us with a discount card. She is super friendly and takes a lot of pride in her work.

Breakfast was not good. No hot food; every 20min they put out 10 microwaveable sandwiches that people fought over….finally got one and it was cold. Rooms were decent, bathroom was not clean and had left over hair in the shower….gym was the best part. For $150/night would expect better. Check in lady was very nice.
