I just had major knee surgery two months ago and still suffering bad knee pain. while having to walk down the stairs with a knee brace on and cane . Tom at the front desk Laughed at my disability and said “ain’t they got you a robotic leg yet?” I Will definitely spend all my traveling hotel money at their competitors from now on. Also the smell of mold was horrible

The hotel was older and smelled like mold . I had been happy with the updates that Super 8 have been doing and the new beds are comfortable at all of them except this one . I thought it didn’t look dirty at first . I noticed the carpet was pretty disgusting and the worst part was finding dead bed bugs . One was smeared on the wall with blood and then found two more in the bathroom. One fell out of the hand towels and the other one was on top of the toilet. I was so tired from traveling that I didn’t bother saying anything to the front desk guy who btw was rude . I asked if we could check out at 12 and replied that we had to be out by 11:30 . His excuse was they only had two cleaning ladies for the WHOLE hotel . I wish I would have addressed it when I was there and took pictures. Totally disgusting 🤢

It's a decent place, but after paying in full on Hotels.com, the hotel added an extra $2 charge on my credit card WITHOUT telling me. When I inquired as to why, they said it was a cleaning fee. Yes just $2, but the way they did it was more like a pickpocket than a reputable business.

The service was great, and it was the best bed we slept in compared to many hotels! What kept my rating down was: funny odor, covered bulb with a string pull to turn on the only working room light. Stained chairs and the biggie-no in room coffee pot. Breakfast should say "continental breakfast." Pre wrapped muffins, bagels, and cereal. Not even fruit was available. Was surprised there wasn't an elevator since there was a remodel after the ADA was passed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Super 8 Motel by Wyndham in Hayes, Kansas, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. This delightful little gem proved to be the perfect choice for my travel needs. First and foremost, the location of the Super 8 Motel was incredibly convenient. Situated just off the interstate, it made for easy access and a smooth check-in process, which is always a plus after a long day of traveling. I greatly appreciated not having to navigate through busy city streets to find the place. Upon arriving, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the motel. The lobby area was tidy and well-maintained, setting the tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was spotless, indicating a high level of attention to detail by the housekeeping staff. It's always reassuring to find a clean and welcoming accommodation. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the beds. Oh, the beds! They were incredibly comfortable and provided a blissful night's sleep. After a tiring journey, sinking into those fluffy pillows and cozying up under the soft sheets was a true treat. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day, all thanks to the wonderful sleep experience provided by the Super 8 Motel. However, it wasn't just the physical aspects of the motel that impressed me; it was the staff's outstanding service that made my stay even more enjoyable. The entire team was remarkably polite and attentive, always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. Their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. Furthermore, the overall atmosphere of the Super 8 Motel was delightful. It was clear that the management and staff take great pride in providing a positive experience for their guests. From the cheerful greetings at the front desk to the inviting common areas, everything contributed to a pleasant and enjoyable stay. In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly recommend Super 8 Motel by Wyndham in Hayes, Kansas, to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable accommodation. With its prime location just off the interstate, pristine rooms, unbelievably comfortable beds, and remarkably polite staff, this motel is a true winner in my book. I'll certainly be returning on my next trip through Hayes!

Won't stay in a Super 8 again... So, first and foremost, as a "highway hotel", the parking situation is terrible. The parking lot is NOT good, and god forbid you try to park a moving truck in it... Everybody says the beds are comfortable, but uh, no, not really. The beds are very hard (at least mine was). It is a "pet friendly" hotel, and the night clerk tells me, "Don't bring your cats through the lobby, our manager is allergic." I mean... sorry? Don't work in a pet-friendly hotel then? The door keys were barely functional. The door on the outside to the side of the building has a cover on it, on a little tiny set of steps, so don't try to bring a bag up with you... Its an awkward, unfriendly door, that I was supposed to try to tote my cats through so I didn't have to take them through the lobby. Not a good experience. Wouldn't stay again, and won't stay in another Super 8 after this experience.

UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE - BEWARE Was charged $102 and accused of smoking weed in the hotel room. Absolutely ridiculous, my husband and I were simply visiting Fort Hays for my daughter's college sorority event. We were only in the the room to sleep and it was clearner when I left than it was when I arrived because I brought clorox wipes and disinfected the entire room! The owner literally accused us of smoking weed, unbelievable!

It is a Super8. You get what you pay for, and maybe a little bit more. Rooms are clean, checkin was very well done and thorough. Breakfast was alright for the price. Have stayed here more than once, will do so again.

Horrible service, the front desk charged me $64.67 three times for incidental holds and are unwilling to help when I called. Wyndham, you should be ashamed of this location. I now have to dispute the charges with my ban. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I thought the property was very good for the price point. The exterior of the property is not particularly inviting but the interior was clean. The room was clean and comfortable but not overly spacious. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly, especially the crew that was on duty in the morning. There were a number of dining options within walking distance. Overall a very good stay.

I loved super 8. The price was not to expensive and the bed was very comfortable. Getting to the place is difficult due to all the roundabouts, and it was my first time traveling through this town. Other than that I had a great experience.

My room was small but ok for just one person. The bed was very comfy and I woke up refreshed. The shower was also very good and the room was exceptionally clean. The front desk folks were professional, helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

This motel is near the highway and is very reasonably priced. Our room was sparkling clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast bar was very good. What IMPRESSED me most was the young man at the front desk who helped us when we arrived--our reservation wasn't showing up (my fumbling internet skills). He calmed me down and quickly fixed the problem.

Clean comfortable room. Lack of parking space. Not a great breakfast. Overall, a good value.

Nice staff. Room was clean, but bed was too firm for my taste. Otherwise, nice overnight stay.

The reason for my ratting on the rooms, is not that there was a problem with the room It is because Super 8 did not have the room I wanted The room I need wanted or needed, was a room with 2 single size beds or a one person size bed Or a single person room with a one person size bed "a single person bed". O and that room can be a bit smaller It would be nice and great if we as the public can have that option It is just a segment Like if said this is not a bad review I would greatly appreciate it if you guy's take my segment in to consideration

The beds seemed clean but that's about it. Tiny room with musty carpet and paid over $140 for a $60 room at best, with a supposed discount! Shower in my room barely drained. Will never stay there again!

Have stayed here twice in the past month, rooms and building is clean (bed, sheets, rest rooms etc.) 2nd stay I was put in, I believe, room 219, which I do not recommend, the ac didn’t work (which I am sure they have since repaired) but the room is located directly next to the stairs going to the 3rd floor and had a decent amount of traffic throughout the night and morning hrs. Every step can be heard with ease. But other than that room in particular, staff was great and was very well kept.

Do not use this place if you need to rest! Rooms are dirty, fire alarm going off in the middle of the night and pot smoke in the whole place! Went cheap because it was just myself, but next time back to my caliber hotel, Holiday Garden Inn, Embassy Suites here I come! What a hole in the wall.

We were pulling a large trailer. We were very happy that there was plenty of room for us to park in view of our room. The mattresses were like new. The pillows were very comfortable. The room has a bathtub which is always important to me! We will stay there again. We had dinner at the old Chicago just a few blocks away. Wonderful food and service at old Chicago. Enjoyed our stay.

This place is fine as long as you are not bound to a wheelchair or have difficulty with stairs. No elevator and all rooms are up or downstairs. Entry to rooms is small and cramped.

Just passing through, Kansas is huge! We needed a room, this place is great. Great price, pet friendly - nice room. Comfy beds, for sure. Clean & Quite! Really friendly front desk guy on 1/2/23. Very good experience. 15$ for the dog, totally fair price.

Overall a decent stop for the price, but the rooms needed a deep clean. I would only recommend if your passing through and need a place to stop overnight.

Definitely can’t beat this hotel for the price! Very nice staff and very clean. The pillows were also great and that’s super rare

One of the better Super 8s I’ve stayed at, clean, well-appointed and comfortable (not in a high-end style but fully commensurate with the price). Great value, plenty of food and drink nearby.

Just passing thru for the evening and decided to stay at a more economical hotel. Was pleasantly pleased! Night clerk was very pleasant. Room was cleaner than some rooms I have paid over a $100 for. Bed and pillows super comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

Motel was fine. It's worth $75. But if you are going to have a mediocre hotel you should have a pleasant front desk clerk. On the night of July 17, 2022 you had a very unhappy lady that seemed to be having a bad start to her shift. Being rude and short with customers is not the way you should operate. Learn from the gentleman working with you. He was much better at customer service.

Fit the bill for a place to stay for the night. Bed was a little firm and like a lot of the Super 8s, could use an update. The 2 gentlemen who checked us in, were probably the best part! After 13 hours on the road and arriving late, they complimented me on my parking maneuvers for my livestock trailer (parking lot is all tore up because of construction). That was a nice compliment, after being on the road all day!

Allows pets. Room was very clean. Service was so-so. Hard to get to location. Would stay again if I had to pick a hotel in Hays
