😠 Absolutely the worst massage I’ve ever had. The fact that you have to tell them what body parts to massage - even when you ask for a full body massage - is a bit ridiculous. 😔. I won’t be back. People often mention massage, time, location, email,

I had the worst massage of my life here due to the poor bedside manner of the massage therapist. The massage itself was unremarkable and unsatisfying. What was worse was that the uninvited conversation from the massage therapist was dismissive, reductive, and disrespectful of my profession. She concluded the discussion by telling me that at least she was less likely to get shot by an active shooter at her work than I was. It was very upsetting, as well as an absolute waste of my money (including childcare) and of my limited free time. I will not be returning but I hope their staff is given some feedback on appropriate, respectful communication and sensitivity. Edit: My massage was booked under my married name which is not associated with this profile, hence management's belief I have written this review in error.

Been going to Hand and Stone for years, first in Camas before relocating to the Vancouver location. After my move, I found Tracy at the Hazel Dell location to be a great therapist. I worked with Tracy for over a year and was super happy. Then, I had a bad experience at the Hazel Dell location with a receptionist and the manager (January 2022 - I won't name names in a poor review). Unprofessional, condescending, and childish are words I can use for my experience. I was simply trying to locate a few gift card purchases I made and it went poorly from there. Being scolded by the manager left me no choice other than to cancel my membership and finish out my services back at the Camas location. I asked for follow up in an online complaint form and also on a "sorry to see you go" survey. No follow up.

If I could leave this place zero stars, I would. I booked a 60 minute massage at 8 pm. I got called back for my massage at 8:01 and was checked out and back walking to my car at 8:55. $129 for 42 minutes of table time is an absolute rip off. Even if you send an email out before hand stating your time includes consultation, dressing and cleaning, I wasn’t expecting a 42 minute massage. Why on earth am I, the client, paying for time for you to clean the room? That’s insane and horrible customer service. Also, the last thing someone wants after a massage is a sales pitch that won’t end. Your front desk was more than underwhelming, but Gabriel, the LMT, was absolutely lovely and did his best with the short amount of time he had. Get it together. This was a disappointing waste of money.

Very clean, professional and relaxing. I had a massage and a facial. Deidra’s massage was like a miracle being transferred through her fingertips and Victoria’s knowledge and confidence in her facial massage gave me a very soothing experience. Highly recommend.

Professional, attentive and personable. I'm a guy and I got a facial at this place. The professional taking care of me was named Rachel (hi and thanks). So, from start to finish I felt the experience was "resetting." Just a facial right? Well, I don't sing, but if I did I'd possibly write a song about this.

Everything felt rushed. I think I could count the number of times the therapist touched me. She mostly talked with her hands, and I didn't feel very relaxed. But I learned a lot about her job and how it's very corporate.

The front desk is sweet, but I got a membership and cannot login to book. It keeps saying my email address is not found. This is really frustrating and makes me not want the membership anymore.

Haven't been to a hand & stone in Vancouver yet. Will be my last. Had a gift card for an hour massage. I upgraded and added a foot massage on top. Staff was very nice and friendly. Do not know their own products though. Masseuse was very nice. She focused all on my shoulders, didn't really touch anything else. Foot massage was her basically washing my feet and adding lotion to them. I never received a hot towel after, and the water was warm to drink. I live at least 12-15m away. I was called back at 10:15, was home by 11:10. I guess one hour means different in some places.

This was my first visit to this Hand and Stone location. The lobby was lovely. The Spa Sales Associates made me feel very welcome. I had a Himalayan Salt Stone Massage with Ms. Josie. I get this massage frequently because of bursitis in my shoulder and arthritis pain. It really helps to manage my pain. Josie was absolutely stellar. Her technique was so relaxing. She knew all the sore places and helped loosen me up. I love this location as well. I will be back for sure to see Josie. I highly recommend without hesitation.

This is second time it happened to me. I came in as the facial appointment that I made and they told me my name not on schedule. After they told me about I should have my text or email to confirm like I know I supposed to Receive then they told me they tried to call me to get my credit card info. And they told me about the email on file and it is not even my email. Front desk did not even want to look further why my email not correct. I also told the front desk I did not get any call or voicemail since the called I made the appointment. Asked for manager number but she did not give it to me . Very disappointed and unhappy because I set out time to come and was thinking I got.
