Been here for two years and it just keeps getting worse. - if you’re thinking about signing up for classes, just watch free workout videos on YouTube because there’s no in person classes here. They literally just have an empty room with the same video playing. - soap won’t be in the bathroom for a couple weeks. But sometimes there is. - many reviews on here say this place and the owner is shady. I agree! Doesn’t matter what they say, just ask your self why so many people think that and save yourself from the trouble. - customer service is terrible. - Got my stuff stolen and (owner) won’t release footage to officer. Because of policy but policy says other wise. Which means the thief still has a membership there, so just don’t leave anything in your locker room.

Absolutely a terrible company. They misinform you and assure you that your account is cancelled, turns out no… it’s not, they then provide ZERO communication and then send you to collections. If you want an over priced, dirty, constantly broken equipment that is actually the worst ergonomic equipment I’ve ever experienced… then golds gym is for you! Save yourself the trouble. Join literally any other gym.

Terrible customer service support! I have specifically asked to sign up for a month to month term agreement just in case if I would want to cancel I wouldn’t have to break any “contracts” and pay a ridiculous fee. I wish I remembered the ladies name who was signing me up but clearly she messed everything up. When I decided to cancel gym membership they told me I had to pay “$125” in order to cancel. Clearly they didn’t put me on a month to month and signed me up for a wrong plan. I am so upset at this and will never be signing up to Golds gym. I would recommend for you to avoid it as well.

I had been a member for over a year, but decided to freeze my account for a couple months. After they charged me the annual fee, I asked to freeze the account again, which they were fine doing, but neglected to share they would still charge me $15 per month. I decided to cancel in mid-August, but they claim I had already paid for September and last month (October). They make it very easy to sign up, but know they are taking $90+ dollars of mine despite my plan to not use their facilities.

Golds Gym Hazel Dell is always so clean! Their staff is incredible (shout out Aliyah in the kids club & front desk) and we always feel so welcome. As a female, I've never felt more at peace with a gym. I've never had anyone harass me or even stare at me and make me feel uncomfortable while working out. I've had 1 incident ever at this gym and the staff immediately took care of it and even checked in with me to see if they could help further. Golds gym Hazel Dell is top notch. ✅️

Closest thing you'll get to a luxury gym in the area, since there's no Equinox around. Inexpensive membership.. Can get a bit busy during peak hours. Employees are professional/friendly. Bathrooms are always clean, equipment well maintained. Best gym in the area by far.

I recently joined Gold's Gym, and in the short time I've been a member, I have been quite impressed with the facilities. The gym offers a wide range of machines and equipment, catering to various fitness needs. The cardio cinema feature is a standout, allowing me to enjoy a movie while working up a sweat on the treadmill or stationary bike. The gym is well-maintained and kept clean, which is a big plus. The staff does a great job of ensuring the equipment is in good condition and ready for use. However, there is one aspect of Gold's Gym that I find disappointing: their policy on recording or filming oneself in the gym. As someone who likes to track my progress visually and occasionally share it with others, I was disappointed to learn that recording is not allowed. I understand the need for privacy and respect for others' personal space, but being able to record my workouts is an important tool for me to monitor my form and progress. It would be great if Gold's Gym could reconsider their policy or provide designated areas or time slots where recording is permitted, as long as it is done with consideration for others. Despite this setback, I still highly recommend Gold's Gym for its great facilities, especially the cardio cinema experience. It's a motivating environment that encourages individuals to achieve their fitness goals. I hope that in the future, the gym will review and revise their recording policy to accommodate those who find value in documenting their fitness journey. Please note that this review is based on my personal experience within a short time frame, and others may have different perspectives.

Clean. Beautiful. Less busy than the other big box option with child care in the area. Speaking of, the kid zone lady is so good with the kids!! I feel indulgent going here.

Love this gym. Always clean, love the atmosphere, great equipment for true weight lifters and did I say always clean? Great place.

I love the Hazel Dell Gold’s Gym location. It is always clean, the staff is very friendly, and happy to accommodate questions or concerns. They are quick to their feet when there is a problem and the machines are in great shape (and a chunk of them are even brand new). Though the sauna is full most of the time and the towel/spray bottle return is inching closer and closer to the front counter LOL, I have been a member for more than a year now and I recommend it to everyone. Love to see my regulars and the staff’s warm hello/goodbye. Thanks for everything guys!

Just signed up because they have child care. When I was cancelling I specifically asked if you can bring guests. Online if you search says members said they have a relaxed plus one policy, and both planet and 24 allow you to bring a guest anytime as long as they are with a member. Went with my fiancé and let the girl at desk know what I was told, and she basically said there was nothing she can do about it and it’s 20$ to workout one time w your guest. Hard pass. And don’t appreciate being given false information and lied to just to sign up. Almost every other gym allows for a guest, and to lie only to a couple weeks later waste my time trying to come in w my plus one, and the very rude desk girl that did nothing to make it right. Yeah I’ll prob cancel. Update: same front desk girl Morgan that had the disgusting attitude the first time was incredibly rude. Her answer to everything is “I don’t know what to tell you” . Acts like a snotty 17 year old girl. This place is a joke and I want a full refund

I went in at noon today, Saturday, to use the virtual Les Mils program in the GGX room as it's the main reason I joined Golds. One more time the app is down and the staff doesn't know how to fix it/reset the ipad. It should be easy to operate if other members are using it for music.This happens more times than not on the evenings and the weekends that I go in and so disappointing. I pay double the rate at Golds then I do at another gym so I can have access to the LM program. Been following LM for 15 years and love love love the various formats they offer. I've spoken to the manager on 3 previous occasions about this and was assured that the staff would get trained on how to operate the system. At this point I'm considering canceling my membership.
