    I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident that occurred at the McDonald's location in Hazel Park on [july 22]. This incident involves an employee who not only displayed a severe lack of awareness and understanding of disability rights but also engaged in discriminatory behavior towards myself and my registered service animal. I hope to bring this matter to your immediate attention, as it is a serious civil rights issue that must be addressed promptly and appropriately. On the aforementioned date, I visited the McDonald's restaurant in Hazel Park, accompanied by my fully trained and registered service animal, which is essential to my daily activities due to my disability. Upon entering the premises, I was immediately confronted by an employee (who appeared to be a manager due to his different colored T-shirt) who aggressively and publicly asserted that I could not have my service animal inside the facility. In front of other customers, this employee proceeded to loudly and rudely demand that I leave the premises with my service animal, claiming that disabled individuals were not welcome in the establishment. Despite my efforts to explain that my service animal is allowed by law to accompany me, he continued to berate and humiliate me, causing a highly distressing and uncomfortable experience for both me and other patrons. As I attempted to provide the necessary documentation to prove the legitimacy of my service animal, the employee in question simply dismissed my evidence and made an excuse of not having seen my service animal earlier, which only further adds to my belief that this was a clear case of discrimination. The situation escalated into a heated altercation, causing further distress and embarrassment. As a result of his refusal to serve me, the employee refunded my money and deprived me of the opportunity to purchase my coffee and pancakes that I had intended to enjoy. This not only deprived me of a simple meal but also infringed upon my right to access public spaces with my service animal, which is protected by law. I firmly believe that disability discrimination is an intolerable offense and goes against the principles of inclusion and equality. As a reputable corporation, McDonald's must ensure that all its employees are adequately trained to accommodate individuals with disabilities and to treat them with respect and dignity. I am urging you to take immediate action in response to this incident. I request that the employee involved be removed from his position and that appropriate disciplinary measures be taken. Additionally, I strongly advise McDonald's to implement comprehensive disability awareness training for all employees at this location to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Furthermore, I sincerely hope that McDonald's takes this matter seriously and undertakes necessary steps to ensure that all its branches strictly adhere to the guidelines regarding service animals and the rights of disabled individuals. I am looking forward to receiving your response within a reasonable time frame, detailing the actions you intend to take to address this issue. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

    NEED to EDIT times! Open time is not accurate. They are literally never open 24 hrs. This has been going on for 6 months. I've even gone to the extent to call after traveling to this location and the response I got was an employee is running late so we aren't opening until they arrive which was an unknown time but "should be not that long..." like what? Mind you this is as the other employees including management was present. They shut the drive thru down with cones. Tons of cars pull in and right back out. Super inconvenient. I understand staffing issues are everywhere but provide good customer service by editing hours accordingly. I'm sure tim hortons across the street is so thankful for early morning business thanks to this location not editing their hours that they are closed! Very frustrating. Great location if during day, the staff that does show up during the day has been friendly. Late night and early morning? Dont waste your time.

    Good when they're open. The hours posted are not correct. It says 24 hours online and posted on their door. Yet it's 9:30pm on Monday July 25 and they have an employee standing guard with cones blocking the drive thru. What are your hours??? Everyday you close at a different time the inconsistency is driving me crazy. I just drove 30 minutes out of my way to come here for espresso and they aren't even open please update your hours.!!!

    The people were very friendly and fast service but the food was a bit old it seemed. The man that took my order was super nice and actually care and talked to me a bit while we waited for the line to move.

    Got a mocha frapachino, and all i could taste was chocolate syrup. Yuck. And there was only one pickle on each of my double cheese burgers and barley any onions. :/ I had waited in line for 20 minutes to get my food. After i drove off and checked my food, i tried to call them ..no answer after 30ish rings.

    It's a hit or miss with this McDonald's. What I mean is. Sometimes you will get fresh food. And sometime you want. Last time there the sandwiches did not turn out like the sandwich on the picture. I had to bring my whole meal back to them because my food look like it had been sitting there all day. Never will I go there again. I'm over it.

    How are you 24hrs but close down right at 6am when it’s busy and very rude part no sign saying we’re close for a short time plus the manager walking around inside then walked to the back where the kitchen to hide when I came to door do better, having your drive thru line outside blocking other real businesses that are open is crazy

    My friend and I decided to go through the drive-thru in the evening. They told us to pull forward because of being “short-staffed”. There was a guy out there asking for receipts and taking them from us to retrieve our order. Comes back with half the order. We had to tell him he only brought half of what we ordered. He then grabs our receipt again. Finally, about a half hour later. Comes back with the rest. Then he keeps the receipt. This place is a joke.

    went inside to order food. Checked frozen coke machines to make sure they had them.ordered Fish meal and upgraded drink to large frozen coke. also ordered 20 piece chicken mcnuggets two hamburgers one cheeseburger and large chocolate shake. by the time they got to filling my order they said coke went into defrost mode. informed me that it would take about 10-15 min for it to be ready. staff filled rest of my order and let it set on counter for next 35 min until my frozen coke was ready then tried to serve me cold food and told me I should have ordered something else. I have been coming to this McDonald's for 40 years and never had as many problems with getting my order. Dont think I will be eating at this McDonald's any more. Over the past couple of visits the service has just gotten worse. Sorry to have to quit going here but every other McDonald's I have been to the service puts this store to shame.

    They never have anything!!! They need to just close!!! Foreal!!! Never have ketchup!! It's not a time you can go and get what you want. It always we are out of that or this!!! Give better service they use to be the best in our area.

    Horrible first time experience at this location. I ordered fries, I guess the order taker didn't hear me... the wait in-between orders was excruciating, you'd think I ordered 40 nuggets. But I got 2 mcchicken and a 6 piece since they didn't hear the fries. Finally, neither window greeted me they seemed miserable lmao.

    Been having problems with them not getting things right .just ordered a coffee with cream and sugar in it with specific on how many I wanted and orange juice well I get down the street and I noticed the coffee is black but I’m at work so I can’t go back immediately then when I get to work, I drink the orange juice and it’s nothing but yellow water it’s not orange juice so if you go to this McDonald’s, make sure you check everything before you pull off

    The only problem when you do mobile ordering is that you have to wait for them to come up sometimes your food is already ready like when I go in there it usually is I just had to let them know that I was waiting or sometimes they will come out and ask you what are you waiting or do you have a mobile order. I order what's inside the app sorry I already know what my mobile order number is and just and then I look on the screen and I can see. That's the nice thing about going into this particular location. Having my food already and prepare to go cuz a lot of times I don't have a whole lot of time.

    This McDonald's puts up with a lot of traffic and angry people and a ton of door dash orders and mobile and McDonald's has some of the highest operational standards as far as fast food goes. They get much more trouble from people than they deserve. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is waiting on mobile and who wants to order at counter... Just do everyone a favor and use the keosk and use rewards points.

    I can’t believe I’m the person reviewing McDonald’s but holy.. 20 mins minimum in the drive through. Sometimes they’re nice, other times not. Plus, you’re trapped in the drive through and have no choice but to wait. The line gets so backed up that people can’t get out.oh, food was cold when I got it too.

    Long lines in the drive thru are nothing out of the ordinary when eating fast food, but the problem is when I have to wait an extremely long time in the drive thru a SECOND TIME, because they got my order wrong. Especially after going home, and having to make another trip back up here because of their mistake. Once I got up there, I spoke with the manager Corey in hopes that she would offer the typical apple pie or small fry for the inconvenience, to which she told me that I myself, was being a inconvenience to the other customers by holding up the line and basically asking for something free. (Despite my time, gas, and inside lobby being closed, leaving no option but to go through the drive thru again) Then she told me she had food to make, and shut the window in my face.

    Just like all the sandwich buns have shrunk at McDonald's I ordered a large smoothie and it too came and what I would call a medium cup and to top it off it wasn't talked off when I got it a good inch below the lid strawberry banana smoothie.

    McDonald's is usually fast for drive thru service but like I said about most McDonald's wish they would put more condiments on their burgers it's dry without it and more Mac sauce definitely on big Macs they rather charge us extra for Mac sauce it's ridiculous you have to ask for more cuz it's like nothing on there otherwise McDonald's is usually good I love the fries only if it's hot, some locations it's always hot

    Very slow. Not sure if the food will ever come out. There’s only a few people in the employee area. Not sure if anyone is cooking any food Update: The food eventually did come out. It probably only took about 33 minutes. 30 minutes seem to be the average wait time for any order even if it was just one or two items. As the wait continued more people enter the restaurant. Luckily no one seems to be concerned about Covid. They were two points where the cleaning employee decided that it was very important to clean exactly where I was standing. One time he was sleeping and he basically made me move so we could sweep. He did apologize that was the second time I was not wearing glasses so I do not know if the floor was actually dirty. From what I could tell the floor was not dirty and I will give him the benefit of the doubt because again I’m a little nearsighted. The people continue to roll in and that is when there was probably about 25 or 30 people in there. Maybe just 20. That is when the cleaning employee starts putting out slippery one floor wet signs everywhere. Apparently his next job was to mop the floor exactly where the 20 or 30 people were standing waiting for over a half an hour for her any item to come out of the kitchen. At that point I had been taking pictures for a little while and I think the only people that did not notice for the employees because like what else was everyone doing besides watching the weird dude taking pictures of everything. Luckily I some in the courage to take pictures directly of the cleaning employee as he was attempting to mop the area where everyone standing. He seem to get the point a little bit after that and said well that’s as good as I can do for now. I’m not sure if he was talking to me or to the other customers or to someone on his team. He retreated into the back of the house. Then another cleaning employee came out and put more wet slippery when wet signs. At that point one of the first customers that was still there when I enter the building has finished eating her food. She reported a 40 minute wait time. At this point I was snooping a bit on the kitchen and it seemed like there was more than one employee back there maybe even three or four or five and I’m not sure what could be taking that long. There seems to be a massive amount of confusion and chaos. At that point more people enter and ask if I’m in line. I told him that I should probably go to any McDonald’s besides this McDonald’s because it’s not gonna come out for a very long time probably an hour or two. I’m not sure if they left or not I think they did. If the employees heard me which I believe they did I would not be surprised if they were happy that the load was reduced at least by one or two. McDonald’s corporation you are welcome I am helping save your brand lol. I still expect to be treated like the rest please though. I keep taking more pictures and eventually the food does come out. I retreat swiftly. I took some more pictures of the exterior. I wanted to warn the long line of cars that the food was probably a pipe dream. I was able to help one more potential customer who said she was in a hurry realize that this was not the McDonald’s for a quick bite. I have been to this McDonald’s before and it was slow previously. This is a new level

    Vile service. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The manager was lovely but I am so disappointed in the gentleman that took my order (JULIAN). He proceeded to make fun of my order to another customer as he announced it to the lobby. I had ordered a meatless burger. The entire interaction was bit strange and extremely off-putting. Yes, sir - people in this world ARE vegetarians. This employee should be talked too. Embarrassing to say the least.

    When you can't have dairy so you order a quarter pound meal without cheese. Not only do you have it cemented on both sides of the burger. They give you a hint of ketchup and two ends of the pickle with a partial stem and one other small piece. I asked for another one and the person who handed me my meal and taking orders, at the same time telling me she didn't hear no cheese. There was no time as to how long it would be to replace it. 2 cars in front of me. One behind with nobody around the building waiting. Threw it out thank you for reminding me why I should not order from. McDonald's

    Ordered 2 Frappes on the app for pickup. Arrived, picked up drinks, and left. Drinks were made as soon as I arrived. Took them and left. They were very good and reasonably priced.

    Workers are very rude. They can never get my order correct, and it's nothing complex...smh...portions are getting smaller and prices are high. Quality is on the downhill slope as well.

    The staff here is always so friendly and the drive thru is fast. This location has been consistently great for years now, and so much better than any of the other fast food restaurants in the area. Thank you for feeding me and curing many hangovers :)

    I go here often for breakfast when I need to go into my office. The cashier here is always so nice and chipper. It's a pleasant experience not often found at fast food restaurants.

    They always I mean always screw it up everytime something missing on the food or just don't give you all of your food the morning people are much better the rest need to learn from them.     Slowest McDonald's on planet earth. We waited 18 minutes in the drive through and we were only the 3rd car in line! I will say the lady at the first window was SO nice and energetic while we waited that she earned the extra star. But DONT go here if you have somewhere to be.

    The worst food I ever had from this McDonald's.. tonight.. the young girl at the window has an attitude like I'm bothering her for ketchup hands me 3 then gets nasty about me needing more.. I get home to my soggy cold fries.. and open my chicken sandwich WHICH HAD (NO EXAGGERATION) FIVE PIECES OF LETTUCE HIDDEN IN ABOUT FOUR SPOONFULS OF MAYONNAISE..
