Working in town for a few days and pizza sounded good, this place said the best pizza in town so we figured we'd give them a shot. Oh boy was this the best place so far in town that we've ate! Special thanks to Wendy our server for the fantastic service!!

This has to be some of the best pizza in Metro Detroit. Whether you get carryout or dine in, it's worth it. Their bar staff is extremely friendly and ensured my beer was never empty. Did I mention they have candied bacon?

I never even liked this place growing up, but my parents did. We ordered two pizzas for 50 bucks. One was just burnt to charcoal pepperoni. The other is like if you melted American slices on it, but left the plastic on. The extremely low quality was an insult to people to have been your loyal customers for decades.

We were excited to eat here. I had read several reviews and even drove out of Detroit for this pizza. We came from Southern Ohio. I was trying to stay away from staples like Buddy's or Jets because I had read they lost their quality when opening so many locations. I read the local history on this spot and thought I'd be in for a treat. Our service was terrible. They really could have cared less if we were there or not. Liked our food or not. I witnessed several servers just be plain rude due to being busy. Our green peppers seemed to be put on just before the pizza got to our table. Maybe I shouldn't have expected to be wowed, but I didn't expect to be able to get the same mediocre pizza the is all over the country. Atleast it had a cool name, and green lights.

I'm not a huge fan of pizza but this pizza is absolutely delicious. the cheese bread was better than any cheese bread I've had 10 out of 10 would 1000% recommend and will for sure be back just for that bread

Lack of toppings and disappointing sub. A downhill slide in an effort to cut costs. Pros: (+) Pizza tasted good (+) Cheese bread was good (+) Ample sized ranch cup Cons: (- -) Low topping coverage (-) “Famous Slaw” on sub was just a few shreds of lettuce doused in Italian dressing (-) Delivery fee of $4 and above average prices. We used to like this chain but it’s clear they are cutting costs while keeping prices above average. Barely any chicken on our pizza. The onion was nonexistent. How much is an onion like 30 cents? You really only can afford to give us a few slivers of onion but charge us $2 for it? The sub slaw wasn’t even coleslaw it was about 6 little shreds of lettuce with cheap Italian dressing. Don’t waste money on their sandwiches. I think we will be avoiding this place from now on. We spent over $50 for 3 items and we’re disappointed.

Had to try. After 15 years of passing the place and everyone talking about it ..! Ha! Green Lantern is pretty good. My waitress wasn't exactly personable. We sat ourselves, no one greeted us. There was about 10 customers in the restaurant, we sat in a booth. We ordered cheese bread, garden salad, meat lovers small. Was a little over 32$.. The bread was good. Salad was good. Pizza was good but not great, in my opinion... I'm not into round pizza as much as a square deep dish. If I come back, I would try something else. Not really sure I would come out of my way for this pizza but if I was in the area, perhaps it would be one of the better choices. Ranch was good, Italian dressing was good, 2nd day old cheese bread in the microwave was still good, pizza not as much.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We were excited about trying Detroit style pizza and my husband is gluten free, which we verified online that green lantern pizza had. We came into this location, sat down, ordered drinks and looked at the menu, we quickly noticed that both of those items were not on the menu. No one had even started drinking their drink and we decided to leave, in which the server said she understood, but brought us a bill for the sodas. Ridiculous! She told us people do it all the time! Make sure if you are going to this location do not trust the FALSE ADVERTISING! Double check before you spend $15+ on drinks that you don't drink. Update: Green Lantern commented below, with a "that's just the way it is" response. Unacceptable! Change your website to reflect that this location doesn't offer gluten free! It is as simple as putting an asterisk beside the gluten free pizza and state below it "not available at all locations." I also feel like good customer service would have not charged for the drinks.

I find their Detroit style to be a bit too thick: like Jet’s, but a tad better. However their round is quite good. They use canned mushrooms which can sometimes retain the texture of the mushroom a bit better on a pizza than fresh which is nice, but I still prefer fresh. The pepperoni are old style & when you get one that’s a bit charred, it’s delicious. The small antipasto can easily feed three adults.

I have ate at many pizza places. Green Lantern pizza is by far the best. The taste of there ingredients are much better quality. Something else I noticed the chain pizza places use lower grade quality ingredients. You can tell just by the taste. If you haven't tried Green Lantern you should try it yourself and you will notice the difference yourself. The pictures are from there Octopie!!. That is a 8 corner crust to die for. A must try for yourself.

Actually had the best experience getting pizza here ever. The antipasto salad is unbeatable with the generous portions of cheese and meat they give you. The pizza was pretty good but the at salad is all world! There’s nothing like it anywhere so the salad alone was enough to warrant the 5 stars. Their ranch is super thin and soupy which totally sucked but they have to get the money for those big chunks of cheese and ham somewhere lol.

Was told it was the best place on earth... Only to find out it's only the best place on 12 mile and John R. Online ordering is tricky. I placed my order thinking i was getting extra sauce and extra cheese and what i actually got was a pizza with no cheese and no sauce with all the toppings😢. After paying $36.00 for 1 large pizza i would have returned it but i had gotten too far and kinda felt it was my fault for not knowing the online ordering procedure. I love love love pizza and wanted to give it a shot but no luck this time.

We ordered food for a birthday celebration. From Josh who took the order on Friday to everyone who had it ready on Saturday. Everything was perfect! Pizza was hot. The items we asked to have excluded were exactly as ordered. Everything was delicious!!

I always order takeout from here but this was my first time dining in, the inside is cute. We sat at a booth and the waiter took care of us immediately, throughout our stay the waitress we didn’t talk to that much she seemed busy and indifferent. We ordered the medium bbq chicken pizza which is always amazing but they only sliced it in 4 ginormous pizza slices. The chicken tenders were really good and we got a decent amount. The food is always great. Nobody does pizza like this team. It’s top tier

Ordered half and half with the first half pepperoni, mushrooms and olives, the second half with onions, green peppers and pineapples (yes I’m the pineapple one) and the taste was just incredible! Looking at the place I did expect some good food but they managed to blow my mind! The cheese and sauce tasted yumm and I would definitely visit again soon! Thank you Green Lantern 😍

This is one of the best pizza places you can go. It's always fresh, always amazing, with the highest quality ingredients. The deep dish is top notch and the Buffalo wings are phenomenal. I cat say enough good things about Green Lantern. If by some crazy chance you've never had it, I highly recommend you go try it out for yourself.

Food was excellent! Pep, onion and mushrooms on 10 in. Warmed up leftovers wasn't bad either. Will return!

Food was good. We dined in and it came out of the kitchen as soon as we ordered. The pizza and cheesey bread were really good. Lots of cheese and pizza toppings. The Antipasta salad was nothing to brag about. Skip the salad and get extra pizza😉 We went with an infant and there was no changing area in the bathroom....felt more of a bar than family restaurant.

Best pizza on the planet. Hands down. I'm not an expert on many things but pizza is my wheelhouse. As Forrest Gump said "I'm not a smart man but I know what good pizza is". I've got on a plane countless times to come have this pizza. The dough is made from the same stuff that angels make their pillows out of and the pepperoni is handmade by Chuck Norris and Jesus.

One of the best pizzerias in metro Detroit. Huge fan of their BBQ Chicken pizza and the other with the white sauce. Their dipping sauces are also unique, especially the garlic based one. I always order whenever I'm in town. Family and friends love this place. A gem of a pizzeria and one of the best I've been to.
