Such
a
lovely
cooking
class!
As
we’ve
been
in
Sri
Lanka
for
a
few
days
already
and
tried
different
curries
we
fell
in
love.
My
girlfriend
and
I
wanted
to
learn
more
about
this
amazing
food
so
searched
for
a
cooking
class.
We
found
Sajee’s
and
decided
to
try
it.
Sajee
and
his
wife
Suzy
welcomed
us
at
their
place
with
a
cup
of
ginger
tea
(really
nice)
in
there
very
nice
outdoor
kitchen.
After
we
drank
our
tea
they
explained
the
spices,
herbs
and
vegetables
they
use
in
the
Sri
Lankan
kitchen
and
ofcourse
the
ones
that
we
were
using
in
the
cooking
class.
We
made
7(!!!)
curries,
rice,
coconut
sambal
and
papadums.
They
really
took
the
time
to
explain
everything,
and
trust
me
it
was
well
explained
in
detail.
After
2-3
hours
of
cutting
and
cooking
we
could
put
it
on
the
plate
and
enjoy
the
curries
we
made.
We
made
different
curries
with
chicken,
pumpkin,
lentils,
gourd,
green
mango,
eggplant
and
beets.
Plated
up
twice!
It’s
that
it
didn’t
fit
anymore
in
my
stomach,
otherwise
I
would
probably
eat
more.
Got
a
bit
more
explanation
from
Sajee
and
after
that
we
had
some
coconut
with
local
pure
honey,
also
really
amazing.
The
cool
thing
is
that
we
got
the
recipes,
so
we’re
definitely
buying
some
spices
to
take
home
and
try
these
curries
again.
Let’s
see
if
we
can
make
them
as
good
as
here.
