We had a lovely meal here, it was delicious and absolutely huge. The decor and fit it is a bit dated but all in good order and clean. A small amount of parking directly out the front for easy access. The waiter was by himself so the service was a bit slow but he was absolutely lovely and really friendly so we were not bothered by this at all. Will definitely return

Visited on a Saturday early evening. We had booked but there were tables available. Very friendly guy doing the service and considering he was on his own he did a great job. Place was not packed but there was a steady stream of customers. Food was wonderful and big portions. I had the pork cordenbleu which was accompanied by lovely fried potatoes a a fresh garden salad. My dining partner also had the apple strudel which was served with ice cream and cream. We will return!

Just ate dinner (twice) within a couple days. In town for a conference and stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant on day 1 for dinner. Great service by the staff, very accommodating, and speak wonderful English (thankful for those of us that don’t understand any German and also have English menus). Second visit, they had been very busy, were operating under a limited menu but none the less showed us great service . Would recommend!

We did not stay here, but we chose to have dinner here. What an absolute treat! The server was fast and friendly. The food was full of flavor and the portions more than generous. My husband had the oven cooked pork in dark beer sauce. Wow! The crispy skin and the dumplings were tasty! I had the turkey with mushroom sauce and felt just as satisfied with my meal. I would definitely recommend giving this spot a try.

We just had the best time here. Our server was so kind and attentive, this was our favorite dinner experience we’ve had on our trip!

Traditional German cafe & bar. Very friendly staff. Limited vegetarian options, but an earthy “neighborhood vibe” and rustic experience. Definitely a place the locals are visiting, very simple food and drink available.

Absolutely excellent traditional Bavarian cuisine. The service is not fast, but the quality of some dishes was extraordinary. I live in Germany since 1997 and I seldom got a better Schweinsaxe (you could cut the skin with the fork). Also the mushrooms on cream ("Schwammerl") were excellent, and the backed Camembert extraordinary (big, liquid, Presielbeeren acid and fresh). Good standard beer (Löwenbäu), the dessert a bit "too" standard - not bad but you get the same everywhere. All in all - really a good experience. The service was honest (we asked before we got dessert - "no, that one is not homemade"), and the ambience silent and rural. Really a fine experience.
