Staff not helpful. NO HEATING in the rooms, i recommend choosing different hotel. it is -5 at night and heating does not work. I am staying here 9 days. The same was in November 2022 and same is now February 2023 They only propose changing room but other rooms are the same. Other guests also complain because it is very cold. For days!!!! It is illegal to run a hotel with minimum heating (cold air from ac only). Additional heater is not available. I got ill last time. This time other guest is sick from getting cold.

若有厚重行李箱不要訂這一間,火車站沒有升降梯/電梯,要爬兩層樓階梯,且近旅館通道封閉,要繞遠路才能過來。 We booked this hotel based on the perceived convenience of its location on the map. It appeared to be close to the S-Bahn station, providing easy access to both the city and the airport. However, we encountered a significant issue that should be noted by international guests: there are neither escalators nor elevators/lifts on the platform. As a result, we had to carry all our luggage down two flights of stairs. To our surprise, the tunnel was also blocked for unknown reasons, requiring us to carry our luggage back up the stairs to reach the other side. Unfortunately, this lack of accessibility is not uncommon in many German stations. Either there are no escalators or lifts available, or they are out of service, leaving individuals to manage their luggage on their own. Germany does not seem to prioritize traveler or disabled-friendly infrastructure. Therefore, it is essential for the hotel to disclose this inconvenience on their website or major booking platforms. Had we been aware of the outdated and inconvenient train station, we would not have chosen to book this hotel.

Staff were not helpful or responsive. We smelled very strong cigarettes in the bathroom (perhaps from bathroom ventilation) and reported to front desk. Instead of offering solution they blame us for smoking and even threaten to fine us for smoking (we are not smoking obviously). No solution was provided on how to deal with the smell of smoke. While we are guests the staff treated us as if we were their prisoners.

The room is small but functional. However, be aware that they charge you 24 euros per person for the breakfast. The quality of the breakfast does not justify the charge and there is no sign about the price in restaurant. On website, the charge is about 10 euros. The hotel also can change your reservation without your consent. I booked a two-bed room for 86 euros. Then the hotel changed to 1-bed room. Called them to correct but the price jumped to 126 euros. Conclusion: I will NEVER stay in this hotel again.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was not very pleasant. Although the breakfast was excellent and had great variety, that was the only positive experience. Our room was not cleaned once during our 4-night stay, even after we asked for it. We were moved to a different room when we complained, but the AC was not working in the new room. The staff was not helpful with recommendations for Oktoberfest or anything else. They seemed uninterested in our problems. The TV and entertainment selection was sub-par, as there was no option to connect to Netflix or YouTube. I give it 2 out of 5 stars.

The Holiday Inn Munich Leuchtenbergring offers a top-notch stay. The modern rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Its central location allows convenient exploration of the city. Particularly impressive is the friendly service and attentiveness of the staff. With amenities like the fitness center and excellent dining options, the hotel provides a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Ideal for both business trips and city getaways.

We stayed as a couple for a few days to visit friends in Munich. We had a great time. The room was very clean and flooded with natural light. The only downside (therefore 4 stars) was that the bathroom had a penetrating cigarette smell. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the room. The staff overall is very friendly and welcoming. We would like to especially highlight the service of Martin. The service of Martin (Service Staff) was outstanding! Every morning he greeted us with a smile and very pleasant small talk. We immediately felt at ease. He was always very service oriented and had a good eye for when we as guests had a request at breakfast. The connection to public transport is very good. There is a suburban train station within 4 minutes walking distance.

Great location and hotel for the price. The proximity to the S-Bahn was amazing. There are even signs at the station directing you to the hotel. Staff was great and allowed us to check-in very early after arriving at 10am. It is a very large property that has been recently updated, so the rooms were perfect. The core-hotel-necessities were met, good beds, no smells, good sound-isolation. The staff went the extra mile by allowing early check-in, and they even left a little chocolate Santa outside our door on check-out.

Poor service and lack of facilities. Very rude and impolite front desk. Front desk Guys Said and Ferhad were so rude and impolite. We were a group and air conditioner was not working in 2 rooms. When we told reception that air conditioner was not working they extremely rude, told us that can not do anything and told that you can open windows and if do not like you can change your hotel, take your baggage and go out, and when we told them that we write review about them they told us write any thing you want and then came out from behind the reception and attacked us and came very close to my face and wanted to hit us. And then kept asking what is your room number. We could not sleep until morning because of worry. 2 Guys in bar were seeing what happened and when we asked them to call some body or tell the names of these guys we recognized that they also afraid them. In the morning I told their manager Mr. Denis. He was kind and polite and told us that they check cameras but next day did not happen anything and even no body did not apology us. I have traveled many countries and stayed some Holiday inn hotels but did not see such a rude behavior in a hotel. The management should be more careful in employment of employees. They ruined our trip . There was not enough facilities in the room even no fridge in the room that is not good for 4 star hotel! We left Munich and holiday Inn hotel with a very bad memory. Be careful of staying at this hotel.

Worst experience ever. The rooms facing the street are the most noisy that I ever see in my life. At 3 in the morning the trucks arrive to unload merchandise from the shopping center that is right in front of the hotel and the noise is unbearable. They don't finish all the merchandise until 6:30 am, so forget about sleeping through the night. The night shift they have, they don't know how to work with the OPERA program, they act as hotel security, so they can't change your room, they lie to you saying that they are full and they don't have any more rooms left. I already know that classic lie of someone who doesn't know how to work. And then they ask you to pay extra for a much smaller but not noisy room. Nothing makes sense in this hotel. Old rooms, incompetent staff and no rest. If you come for work, never stay in this hotel.

Friendly and efficient staff, with a great selection of convenience stores and eateries nearby. The hotel has a fresh and welcoming flair even though it is very much a city and business person property. Really good for public transport with Stadbahn and S-Bahn connections nearby.

Very comfortable Holiday Inn. Near the S train straight from airport. Also accessible to U bahn and bus lines. Minor road works that makes it a bit inconvenient but this is not their fault. Room is dead quiet and black out. Approved

So many mistakes. Booked on my personal card instead of the company card, despite that my personal card should only have been for the mandatory security deposit. Their system showed me as no-show on day two. My room number was erroneously not on the list for breakfast. There was old water in the kettle from the previous guest. The box safe batteries were dead, so it did not work. The room was located such that mosquitoes meant the window had to be closed at night. Woke up with many bites after first night. A mosquito net or warning would have been nice. All minor things, but it adds up. The staff is very nice and friendly.

The staff at this Holiday Inn are welcoming and friendly. They have a free luggage service for those who are checking-in early or checking-out late. The rooms are clean and have all the essentials you need. Location isn't as prime and it's a little noisy at night. If you're taking public transportation, keep in mind that the hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from Marienplatz. Of note, the Leuchtenbergring train station is inaccessible from the hotel as they city is doing renovations. Had I known this was the case, I would have booked elsewhere. Overall though, great stay.

Delightful hotel. Rooms were immaculate and well cleaned. Staff was professional. Breakfast was stellar. This is likely our new base when visiting München.

Nice hotel, better service, regular localisation (it should mostly suit your needs) - no nice views, rather noisy exterior (traffic most of the day or nearby commercial center loading docks @ 5am) but very close - 2 min walk - to Leutchenbergring S-Bahn station. That said, the service staff is great, good breakfast buffet, you can borrow an umbrella from rhe hotel when it's raining or rent a bicycle for urban mobility. As said, if the location suits your needs, it's an option to consider.

2nd time staying here and I’m glad that the service is still wonderful and personably great! We got upgraded to a nice room overlooking the courtyard. The location of the hotel is great - close to town. There is an underground carpark if you’re driving, and a mall right next to the hotel.

Rooms are ok but no mini fridge, except for 20 random rooms. Asked for a fridge but didn't get one for my entire 4 night stay. A sign in the room indicates you can ask reception for a naturally feeled pillow but this wasn't available. Team didn't make an effort to solve problems. 15 min on tram from city center, tram is very close and often. Rooms are in good business level.

Super friendly staff and helpful! Amazing. It is close to a shopping mall which there is mediamarkt and dm! Turkish kebab restaurant and a subway. And alao a hyper market. Using a tram will lead you in marienplatz in 20 minutes. The point is there are some bikes that you can rent it for visiting city.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful hotel in December. It is really cosy and warm. Condition was heating room instantly. The hotel Staff are very friendly and welcoming and we even got small Santa Claus as a gift on 6th Dec. Very clean room, and comfortable bed. And only 4 S-Bahn stations from city centre. We totally recommend 🍀

Good location with 5mins walk to train station. Breakfast has great fresh fruits. However, no drinking water provided in the room. Also the room do not have mini fridge even it was mentioned in the description.

    - My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights last week, for a short City break before heading to the alps to hit the slopes. - The hotel was very clean (the toilets by reception smell divine) and super efficient. The room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable making it a lovely nights sleep. We were given a top floor room (perk of being an IHG member!) so it was very quiet despite being by a busier road. I also care lots about the environment and the hotel has an option to not wash your sheets every night in exchange for a small daily gift - what a great concept. A large tick on the sustainability front. - There were lots of flyers in the foyer, which provided info about Munich (my boyfriend bored me to death with facts about Munich one evening). - The location was good (right next to S-bahn station around 10 minutes from the centre). There is an Edeka next door which allowed us to stay topped up with manner wafers - a holiday essential. - There was a plethora of choice at breakfast and it truly catered for all! The brunette female on the check in desk was really lovely and helpful and the male waiter at breakfast made it a pleasure to go down to breakfast every morning! All around great experience - one of the best choices for a stay in Munich that is not only a great price but a very pleasant stay.

Awesome hotel. Comfy beds, great bar downstairs, easy to get to the city with either a 30 min walk or a train in 10 mins. Staff all super lovely!

Very good hotel directly on S-bahn station. Not in the city center but good starting point. Excelent breakfast. Fully renovated, modern. Excelent breakfast. Just the restaurant and bar are closing quite early.

The rooms are fine and clean. Bathroom could be better - it doesn't look like new at all. The worst thing that I faced during check in is the fact that I have to pay 50 Eur more. So the overnights price + 50 Eur - just because guys on reception say "these are the rules". During the online booking this was not mentioned anywhere. Also on resevation conformation and in printed invoice it doesn't stand. Costs are returned after checkout but it's very stupid - I put an exact amount of money on my mastercard to pay for hotel and planned to use EC card for other purposes. But I had to pay with EC because expected sum on MC was not enought since it's 50 Eur higher in fact. Please mention such things on the website and in invoices!

I’m a little bit biased when I write a review for Holiday Inn hotels. That is because I always get a room upgrade and I always find the staff really friendly and supportive. This hotel is great overall. Great staff, perfect breakfast, comfortable bed and pillows, big (upgraded) room and extremely clean. However, right in this moment there is a big construction work in front of the hotel that makes it kind of messy when it comes to traffic. Also, I was unlucky enough to stay in this hotel when the elevator from the parking is not working and I had some trouble to reach the reception or the parking back in the morning due to the complete lack of signage. However, I definitely recommend it.

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. Concierge has been very rude and impolite : no welcome, no good manners, have a non working key for the room, have no indications for parking and when iwe asked indications he said we had a problem and called the police. Unbelievable! Better choose different hotel

The hotel itself is nice, location is great if you don’t want to stay in the city center (sbahn and buses directly next to the hotel). Even tho the hotel is next to the sbahn station, it is still very quiet and we didn’t experience any noise issues. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the room wasn’t the cleanest. There were stains on the carpet, and the toilet could’ve been cleaner too. Apart from that - the stay was lovely.

Very convenient, walking distance to the train station and it’s 4 stop right to the city centre. Rooms are clean and with basic amenities such as toiletries, kettle, iron. However the air conditioner is not strong at all and in the summer season, the room is warm and not comfortable to sleep at all

It's neat! Beds are super nice, service wonderful, good location (15mins from main station with S-Bahn). The curtains are a bit dusty, and windows can only be half-opened, street is very loud, can't recommend their restaurant (food very fatty), haven't had breakfast (maybe that's amazing, who knows?). All in all, solid 4-Star Review ;) I like it and will come back again.

Vera nice modern Hotel. Nice rooms.

The room was clean, but small (which is ok considering the law price). Even though I requested a queen bed room, I got 2 twin beds. The staff was really kind and helpful! A bit far from the city centre, but the highway is close, so it will take you only 30 min (by car) to get to the airport.
