Best of the best dhaba..... It's one of real dhaba on the highway... That serves the best vegetarian delicacies... I visit this place since my college days... And never was disappointed with the taste.. My favorite: paneer ghee roast, paneer garlic... Kaju masala.. Hara bhara kabab... All starters are must try.. The lassi is to die for... So yummy u will never stop with one bottle.... Rice items bit average but all dishes are at best price and value for money

The Only Famous and Favourite Dhaba In Udupi - Manipal for the Price and Taste. Although the food is not like before, nevertheless still there is no competition to this place yet. Hope the quality will be improved with good quantity and better pricing. Lassi, Biriyani are my favourite from this place. Good parking Space, spacious seating space, quick service and friendly stafs. Must visit 💯❤️.

Decent place for vegetarian food. The management staff is impressive, providing quick and effective service. Food quality is prioritised over ambience. Not that the ambience is bad, it is just sufficient. Food is also in the lower price range. Do try lassi from here.

In case you are travelling from udupi to Mangalore. You want to have some quick, no non sense and decent lunch/dinner then I recommend this place. Staff is friendly. They were quick to suggest me the number of side items required. There is enough parking available. Taste wise food is good. Ambience is not great (but remember you are not on date or any grand lunch/dinner).

Very basic place. Unless you are extremely tired and no other option while passing by karkala - Mangalore road, you can stop by. Good service, good portion size, but taste not good. We stopped by this place for dinner, roti curry was ordered. Roti was fine, mushroom masala is not like a north Indian curry, most of their curries are like Chinese sauce based, and not good. Ample parking space. Not good ambience, not hygienic, toilets are okay, not so well maintained.

The food was served very quickly, hot and tasty. Enjoyed a sumptuous dhaba meal. It has a decent toilet for public and a separate one for drivers.

Wanted to visit this place from a very long time and could finally come across the place. We tried - Kulcha, bindi fry, mushroom shahi kulcha, paneer tikka masala, sweet lassi Make sure to try out the masala kulcha, mushroom and the bindi fry as they were the best among the options. The lassi was so so, but overall really good!

We went there for N Indian food . Whoever says 5 stars has probably never eaten N Indian food ! Same applies to “special “ lassi . The best thing we had here was goli soda .Dal Tadka was also decent . Service was very good inspite of being crowded . A lone waiter was catering to few tables , but they were quick . To summarise , this place isn’t recommended for people who love N Indian food !

It's a delicious dhabha.. compared to any other near by. It's on High way which is important part. It has good parking space. They will cater into your cars also. It's a pure veg. Soft and not so spiced and good dish you can get here. Rest rooms are available. And sweet lassi is everyone favourite drink here. It's not much costly rather than others. It felt more like a themed restaurant than an authentic dhaba. But I am guessing authentic dhabas are a rare breed these days. Though the food was OK, it didn't really live up to rave reviews we'd heard. Plus, for a dhaba, we felt it was expensive. Service was quick and courteous. Notwithstanding what I thought of the food, it seems to be an extremely popular joint; the place was super-crowded. There is ample parking with staff helping customers find a suitable parking slot. This is a good place to grab a bite to eat if you are travelling on the coastal highway. But I wouldn't recommend that you go out of your way to eat here.

Nice dhaba style vegetarian food which has a tint of southern influence. Their goli soda was a standout since it's not easily accessible these days. Overall a great experience and a must visit for all the vegetarian folks!

This is only option for Vegetarian in hejmawadi. It's on the way from Mangalore to Udupi. During my stay for a week, I would have visited this place some 4 times. Though not fan of this place but being only option u end up going there again and again and then u start liking that place! I would recommend everyone to try their Veg biryani and Goli soda! That's the best bet

Only vegetarian food available. Hardly 500m after crossing the toll plaza en route towards Mangalore. Visited around lunch time, decent food options, quick service. There's a family room section too. Ordered 3 curries life out of which mix veg curry turned out to be stale though it was hot. Rotis, lassi etc were pretty good.
