What a lovely venue!! Amazing views, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great wine! I highly recommend their wine and pie pairing. Delicious! Update: I can highly recommend their pizza!! And they have added a very nice play area for kiddies.

We visited the Yonder Hill Wine Estate for a wine tasting and although their selection isn't very large, it is well worth a try. It is however good to note that the inside wine tasting area shares the same space as the restaurant so if you are keen to visit I recommend you make a booking. We sat inside, as it was very windy, but after a while the wind died down and we decided to move outside. The outside area has a couple of tables as well as an open lawn area where you can also sit and relax while taking in the view of the beautiful vineyards and mountains. What I really liked was their play area for the kids. It is within clear view of the tables and will keep the kids busy while the parents enjoy a glass of tasty Rosé.

What a great experience. Had a nice and lengthy chat with the wine master. Newly renovated and is just too fancy and neat. Even though they focus on red wines, for me the white wines were world class. Red wines were fantastic of course. Thanks for the lovely visit.

Purely on the positive reviews and the fact that we have driven past numerous time and longed to see the Ankole cows. I chose to take my overseas guests for wine tasting to Yonder Hill Winery. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly host. As my guests were arrival later my husband I thought we would peruse the displayed wine selection while we wait. We then wanted to order a cheese platter to go with wine tasting for our guests we were told that we needed to have ordered the cheese platter the day before. We were not given a rundown of the available wine pairing or even offered an alternative. Which is unbelievable seeing we were the only guests there at that time. I have since looked on their online site, no where does it mention that one should book cheese platters the day before. I really hope this was just a once off thing as the wines look like some we would love to have added to our private collection. I took my 10 guests down the road where we had an amazing time with a great cheeseboard and awesome wines. Sadly, minus the Ankole cows I know my guests, myself included, would have loved.

Extremely disappointed. We arrived there where it indicated open until 2pm on a Saturday. Arriving around 12 we rudely got told they closed. Asking why then is it stating on the door until 2pm; they said they shooting a movie. The lady at the tasting centre had an extremely arrogant attitude, not caring about customer service. I will not be back and most definitely will be advising people to not got there. If your priority is for a movie and not wine sales or tastings; then you dont deserve to exist as a business or have a tasting centre. Businesses have forgotten lessons during covid where business with poor service closed their doors. I have seen bigger wine estates go under. Such service must not be supported. We have been to numerous wine estates and this rates as one of the worst.

What ill mannered staff!!!!! Operating hours reflected as being open until 14h00 on Saturdays, but when we arrived at about 12h00, a staff member who greeted us clearly stated "NO NO NO NO, WE'RE CLOSED". Staff training required and if you're not open during the specified timeframe, kindly state so by other means as your staff is not welcoming at all. I felt like an intruder at your estate

We had a fantastic day there my American guest. the views were exquisite, the wine was good and the Cattle amazing

Lovely friendly service. Alison is a star. If you don't like wine you can try their craft beer. They have a playground for kids. Food is only served on certain days. The wine tasting comes with a nice olive and bread platter. Great views of the "yonder mountain".

Lovely relaxed vibe to keep the kids busy whilst enjoying the views and drinking amazing wine! Highly recommend

Stunning venue, we have had a few company functions there, ticks all the boxes view stunning, staff amazing and very accommodating, food delicious and supherb wine
