Taco Treat was absolutely amazing before they switched over to this so called new taco treat, we have only been back there four times since they switched over. The last two times we were there we were very disappointed...the food was absolutely horrible, our sodas had some kind of strange slim in them, must not be cleaning their fountain nozzles. Even after being asked if there is sauce, napkins, and utensils in the bag more than once, we get to where we are going and nothing!! Used to absolutely love this place but right now with the people that are running this place I highly do not recommend this place!!

Food is usually good, but the employee who helped me showed a great deal of disdain and sighed audibly throughout my order while having to help me. It's ok to hate your job but no need to take it out on the public...

I had a very bad experience a while back, I gave taco treat another chance and it was another bad experience yet again. The service was terrible and the food was disgusting. Since the new owners took over taco treat years back it has gone from excellent food and service to one of the worst restaurants in town. Everybody has been complaining for a while now and they are not doing nothing about it. 😡 last time I confronted them the manager from Great Falls was very rude and disrespectful and accused me of telling lies and trying to scam them, that was far from the truth . She was mad at me for saying what I did, and she did nothing about it besides giving me a gift card that was less than what I spent on the worst food I ever experienced. I will never give them another chance and if you do, you will see what I’m talking about. She just did not want to admit what happened and cover-up anything they did wrong. Maybe if they get new management and get somebody that knows what they’re doing they might become a good restaurant again, but I won’t get my hopes up. I recommend everybody and all that have had problems with taco treat recently to call and report them. This has gone on way too long! 😡

I went to get food tonight with my girlfriend and her daughter, I ordered a nacho supreme and two Indian tacos with no olives. My girlfriend’s daughter opened the nachos and there was a long piece of hair mixed in with the nachos, and they put olives on the Indian tacos. They refused to give me a refund and they finally offered to give a gift card for the messed up order. My order came to $25 and they only gave me an $18 gift card.

This is the 4th time in 2 years going there because the food has gotten so bad. Each time I go, I hope for a chance back to where they used to be. Food tasted a little better this time until I got food poisoning. Uncle. I am done hoping.

Horriable everyone at my table other had their dish made wrong or it never showed and they charged all of us it took forever and none of the employees knew what they had or were out of several people around me had to reorder cause they were out of ingredients which would explain why I had no beef on my beef nachos. So I decided to give it another try and this is what I got. Both nachos are the exact same chicken Supreme one has nocho cheese one American so why are they different ones missing things. Not to mention it barely has anything on them and loom how it was prepared the cheese and beef crisp all in the middle. This is the I don't care attitude and what 50 dollar order looks like so I'm done with this place. I miss how us use to be when I was a kid and worked there.

Me and my son stopped in to have lunch. We ordered our food at 12:09. At 12:50 we still did not have our food. They did not apologize or even seem to care that we didn't get served. They might as well just close their business. There was a whole restaurant full of people with no food. November 22 2023.

Every time I go there now they never get my food right, I never get all of my food and it's definitely not the same quality as it use to be! Not impressed 😕

Went inside and the dinning area was super gross. The floor was disgusting and there was food all over. The place was not clean and I could not get anyone’s attention to help me.

Afternoon seems just fine. Good crew and your food doesn't take to long. Evening/night crew is the complete opposite. I don't think they even care about the customer's.

Been my favorite since I was just a kid! Now 50 some years later have to stop every time I'm back in town!!! Love it!

Food not good no more .....this place I've always loved for 30+years but they have gotten so cheap with the burritos sad ....this place was the best for somany years but now the food I'd such small portions ......well thanks for 30 y4ars of amazing food....now not good

Normally this is a great place for an American style taco. Today it was horrible. My cheese crisp with meat had 3 pieces of hamburger on it, the tacos had poor flavor and the nacho Supreme was neither Supreme nor was it what I would call nachos. It was a plate of chips with a very small amount of topping dead center. The picture on the wall verses what we got were vastly different. We complained and the staff just shrugged and said oh well. We asked for more toppings and the girl brought one small salsa deal. My taco had more toppings than the entire nacho plate had so I put some of my second tacos topping on my fiancé nachos.

Went to Taco Treat to get myself a treat on a long road trip. Sign says the place is open, no one is there and there are no cars. Was there way before closing. Place looks like it’s gone downhill. Went across the street and had a way better experience.

Recently ate here for first time and from now on when there's a location nearby I will ALWAYS choose this over Taco Bell....best kept secret for drive through Mexican! 😋 The menu selection is like dining at a Mexican restaurant. Plus they have seltzer water which I prefer over plain water.🙃

Went thru the Drive thru ordered 1 chicken taco, 2 beef&tater treat, asked for the cheese on the side and a medium root beer. The tacos were pathetic, greasy dropped in the bag about 2 ft in the air and they were cold. The tater treats were in the micro wave 5 min. To long. And l didn't get my root beer., that was my fault, that and leaving a 5.00 tip. I've been eating at taco treat sense l was in junior high I'm now 77 and have never had food this bad at taco year. There is a really nice young man that works there. They could all learn from him. The guy that was working the food area should be sweeping the parking lot and check on often. I've always had good food there, l hope this doesn't contine, or their will be another empty building on that one way. Jim Martinez

I love taco Treat as a rule. I have never been disappointed with the food, until now. I have eaten at the billings, greatfalls, Missoula and now Helena. I ordered a Indian toco from the one in Helena. It was about 8:45pm just before closing. To say the least, it was horrible. If I would have had enough time. I would have taken it back. I requested beans as the first layer. No, beans were added. I'm not sure what kind of meat they put on it, but it was horrible. I took one bite and had to throw the rest away. What a waste. I don't think that it was taco treat. I think that it was the person who made it. Did not know how to make it. I will continue to go taco treat whenever I get the chance. I do not live in Helena. Where I live we do not have a taco Treat.

My whole family used to love this place but the past six months, or since their remodel, we have had nothing but bad experiences. We will never go here again.

Normally great but this time 🙄 Combo Enchetreato. No lettuce (which I requested on the side so it wouldn't be wilted by microwave) no black olives (asked to pay for extra) no beans, no sour cream and no guac which I also asked to pay for. What a drag! Then no manager to speak with when I called to address it. Dude at window sent me away with a "May God be with you." That's nice and all but I would've rather had my order be with me.

My personal experience was fine, though it took a while and the employee was forgetful about things (like refilling suaces). My food was okay, not great. Normally I'd give a 5-star review for my experience. However, the employee and manager treated a woman very poorly when she asked for a refund because she had to leave and had been waiting nearly a half an hour for her food, at a fast food restaurant that itself wasn't very busy (I waited about 20 minutes for food myself). They offered a gift card, she said she was never coming back so wanted her money back. They said they don't do refunds and she reiterated she wasn't coming back. They told her to either wait for her food or leave then, in a sarcastic tone. Very unprofessional, and a terrible company policy if they really don't offer refunds when someone hasn't even gotten their food. One star for the way they treated that customer.

I've been there twice now after 2pm and they never give me the advertised discount on their tacos, even after I've asked. False advertising. 2 stars because the tacos were still decent.

Their food is not the same anymore, it's really greasy. When they open the the window to get your money you could see inside the place is filthy. service is very poor.

We go here every time we are in town but I'd have to say it's really gone down hill the last few years. Best taco sauce around.

The EnchaTreatO (enchilada sauce on a burrito) is amazing! Also their taco salad is quite good. Will be back!

I placed an online order through door dash and taco treat was out of a very key order item and rather than forget about it, they called to let me know and were able to offer a great solution so that everything would still arrive as ordered. I greatly appreciated the call and was extremely happy with the food and service from both parties. Thank you!

The worst service ever. Drive thru. 1st trip they forgot 2 tacos. 2nd trip no lettuce on tacos. 3rd trip was greeted with "what's wrong now?" Got a "sorry dude" before closing the window on me.

Horrible tasting food. The cheese tasted so fake as it stuck to my teeth. The rice had so much tomato paste in it that it tasted like spaghetti, not Spanish rice. We had to throw more than half of our food away. Wouldn’t even feed this to our dog.
