Should have read the reviews first. Terrible hotel. Dirty wash cloth in the shower. No room service. Had to bring my dirty towels down before they would give me clean ones. Ridiculous. . The pool and hot tub are empty ,haven't worked in years. Wyndom needs to take a second look at who they are representing.

The only reason I’m giving it 1 star is because the room had enough AC to sleep well. There was still dirty underwear laying in the room, plus empty candy bags. The floors seemed “clean” otherwise except very worn and stained. Didn’t dare check for bedbugs! The washroom lock was worn out too much to work and door broken somewhat already. Online it promised pool and breakfast, but as mentioned in other reviews, breakfast was granola bars and pool was closed. Never staying again. Rather drive another hour into the night.

Like the look and feel of the lobby. But I feel robbed of the opportunity to a hot breakfast. Literally had a cheaper rate at Super 8, but the details in the hotel description claimed a good hot breakfast vs what the 8 said. Get here and the guy says no breakfast but they have granola bars, for sale mind you. Don’t fall for the hotels lines about what they offer. I can see the Super 8 sign right here stating hot breakfast. Never again HoJo!!! You got me this time. Shame on you. Will NOT be a shame on me, believe that!!!!!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews. I don’t mind staying in an older hotel, it has its rustic charms. The service was great and these are the only reasons I’m giving it two stars. We were greatly DISAPPOINTED by the misleading amenities on their website. Traveling with kids we look for a pool (to help release energy after riding in a car) and continental breakfast (saves time & money). Neither of these were available as advertised. Wish we would’ve known so we could’ve stayed somewhere else. Hopefully you read reviews before making your choice. This is not what I expect from a Wyndham property. Sad face.

I paid cash for a little over two months which was about 7,000 dollars and I cleaned my room and got my own fresh towels when needed, no amenities were ever offered or given like coffee , breakfast ,shampoo not even a thanks. I was however harassed almost every day about paying by 11:00 am even though I had checked out and RESERVED the room online for that evening .I was living day to day, I would work all day and get paid that same day then check in .....well this was highly inconvenient for Shelly the owner and manager as she stated there were other customers who would pay for the room ahead of time, I never mentioned that they should have reserved it , just to keep the ✌as the Howard Johnson is one step up from America's best value inn , this was my experience at the Howard Johnson motel. I also spent about 3,500 dollars in the bar and casino, also owned and managed by Shelly attached to Howard Johnson but thankfully she never worked in the evenings.... she would just be there drinking and gambling and if I said hi or good evening she would turn the other way and act like she didn't hear me, unless someone else was there next to her ,one night I won about 5,000 dollars on one particular machine and game, well the next day that particular game was removed from both of the machines in the bar, and stated to me when I inquired that they were audited that very next morning "on a weekend " and the auditor took that particular game that I won 5,000 dollars on ....off both machines, other than all the above mentioned the bartenders and front desk employees were all very nice and accommodating.

Someone tried to unlawfully enter my room and then I wasn't allowed to pack my stuff it was thrown in trash bags into another room. My boyfriend is diabetic and it was blamed on him as if he was an addict. After full payment from emergency rentals was paid out the officers had to push the manager back so I could safely enter my room. And the room smelled of chemicals they had beds in the hallway. Later I found out someone died. And had been there the whole time. The room TV was a box TV. I had no heat for the 2 weeks I was there. And while other guests moved freely i wasn't even allowed the door dash driver to deliver to my room in the basement. No elevator down and I am recovering abdomninal surgery. She also kept others segregated and isolated. I just found out that treatment had one girl suicidal. I was told I couldn't smoke where others did. Tell me not there is something serious wrong in all this. The day I came to stay the manager had a full on screaming match with her husband and walked in on another male guest while he was sleeping.... but I will let you decide. Maybe its just me as they suggested. I lost everything I owned here. And became homeless during covid. In sub zero temperatures. Seems quite illegal. I'd understand if I gamble... but I don't. And still lost everything I had been saving.

When checking in and out, the girl at the front desk "Emma" was extremely rude and unprofessional. She had a bad attitude and didn't seem like she liked her job at all! We've stayed at that hotel numerous times and have never dealt with someone so unpleasant. Very disappointing. We have kids that wanted to swim, as it was triple digit weather out. Unfortunately, the pool is not in service. We were told they shut it down during covid and don't have any plans on reopening it.

Suites are nice and spacious. Standard rooms are basic. Decor/carpet could use updating Service was friendly and fast. Housekeepers didn't come knocking early. Bathroom was a little tight. Owner is nice Modestly priced. Ranks between the LA Quinta and the Great Northern.

Stayed at this location for two weeks on official business; house keeping did not come to my room at all! I watched the house keeper go to all the rooms on my floor and clean them except for mines. I had to go to the front desk juts to get restocked on toilet paper and towels. Not to mention that the bed sheets were filthy when I first arrived, I had to get brand new sheets and put them on myself. Floor was not vacuumed everything was dusty and you could tell the room wasn’t serviced. I had to go to Walmart and get my own cleaning supplies and clean the room just so it was livable for two weeks. Very disappointed in my stay; if I ever return to Helena I will not stay here.

What a disappointment! If you have the choice of another hotel, BOOK IT! Upon check-in, I was advised that room service would not be provided during my 5 day stay. I was advised that there was a dog charge of $20 per dog. Not disclosed on Priceline. I had prepaid for the room on Priceline and not eligible for a refund. BTY, I left a day earlier. Not offered a refund or partial refund. Staff is NEVER at the front desk. You have to use the phone. Hint: They are in the bar/casino with a cell phone. The bed light did not work and the toilet ran constantly. The freezer was frozen, making it unuseable. The carpet was worn and less than clean. The window was so dirty you could barely see out. The least of the rooms issues. The bed needs to be replaced. The springs popped and cracked everytime you turned over. No blankets in the room, they have to be requested. The front desk came and plugged the light back in and attempted to fix the toilet to no avail. The headboard fell off the wall. She wrote a service request for maintenance request. Maintenance never came until the last day. They affixed the headboard to the wall. Never fixed the toilet. Contacted front desk. I was moved to another room, which wasn't much better. The shower dripped! The room was in similar condition. I plan to reach out to Howard Johnson and Priceline. This hotel needs to be closed down and totally renovated.

Beds were horrible. Room needs a little attention. One cup coffee regular was left four a four pot coffee maker. Does that make sense to you? Place would be great if some details were addressed, especially the beds. That’s the “seller”

Horrible. First room had stains everywhere and the TV didn't even work. They moved us to another room. This TV worked. Just as many yellow stains on sheets, they even had a vent cover for a hole in the wall. Both rooms smelled as well. Advertised as having a pool and didn't have one. Breakfast was slightly better than a super 8. But that's not saying much. Would like to post pictures.

Hotel is nice and the staff is friendly, but was woken up 3 times by staff dealing with an issue in a near by room and when I booked it I picked the hotel cause they had a breakfast and when told that it was a breakfast bar by the staff I assume it was like a buffet but no it's literally a Nutragrain bar.

Dirtiest nastiest hotel I've stayed in over 20 years. Broken windows, lights don't work, dirty bed spreads, sheets are worse, carpet is come stained and crunchy, walls are dirty, room doors are severely damaged. Would not stay here again.

Bed was lumpy and hard. Pillows were sooo tiny and worn out. Thankfully I had my own. Helena hotels and motels were booked up so we were happy for a place to sleep. The air conditioning worked good and the staff was so awesome and friendly that I felt like I was in a episode of Cheers, where everyone knows your name. So my extra star is for the staff otherwise this tired hotel would get a 2 star rating.

There was no one at the front desk to check me in, so I found an off duty employee to get me checked in. The sink wasn't cleaned, there were other people's hair in the bed, other people's toiletrie garbage still in the tub, and some outlets didn't work in the room. Overall not worth the money paid to stay there.

Hotel looks remodeled. New carpet and paint. Towels are plush and soft. However the housekeeping needs work. Our room had leftovers in the refrigerator, dried soap on the shower walls and on shower curtain and coffee and coffee grounds in coffee pot. Heat was turned off, so the room was freezing when we arrived. We turned on the heat and left the room for a while.

Our room was very uncomfortable. The carpet was old & stained. Ceiling fan was covered with dust therefore we didn't turn it on. Bathroom sink was draining very slowly. Toilet was loose & rocking when using it. Shower curtain had mold on it 🤢. This hotel needs remodeling for sure. Granola bar & juice & coffee for breakfast, wow! So need I say more. But we still paid $120 for this unhappy & uncomfortable experience. SERIOUSLY!!

The check in service should receive 5 stars, but the lack of promised breakfast gets a WOMP WOMP 🤡, please update web services to reflect that free breakfast will no longer be offered. Also pool and hot tub are closed. Over all, the room was cleaneish, the toilets are tiny, the shower bar was missing a couple of screws and was rusty, and the beds were squeaky.

It’s hard to even leave any star. DO NOT STAY HERE. Shower curtain was rotten and moldy, the bathroom smelled of urine. We were booked for 3 nights but could only handle the poor conditions for 2 and left. There is no housekeeping which they failed to mention upon checkin, holes in the wall, dingy and unkept interior. At $139.00 a night, Motel 8 would have been a better option for us. Very disappointing. Do not stay here or waste your money!

We didn’t actually stay for the night given the condition of our room. It was so disgusting that we asked the front desk to give a refund. First of all the bed was made but the sheets were dirty. There was an abundance of hair and sunflower seeds in the bed. Sheets we’re crumpled. One of the drapes was hanging off the hooks. Toilet was dirty (fecal matter under seat and something in the bowl). Everything was gross about the room from the worn and dirty carpet to the old furniture. When I returned to the front desk clerk for a refund I told her about the dirty bed and she just said that they had a new cleaner and never said another word. This place is a zero. Oh and when I first checked in there was a sign that due to COVID there was no breakfast but they had a juice box and a granola bar. Hotel advertised breakfast included on their site. Not that I would ever want to eat anything there given the overall uncleanliness of the place, but they should not advertise breakfast. They certainly cannot say it is due to COVID when they offer you a filthy room. Whole place should be shut down.

It's simply fine. The toilet didn't work in the first room and we were quickly moved next door. The bar is decent with cheap drinks.

The owner/manager is very accommodating I stayed post op and pre op, Shelley treated me so kindly and showed real compassion. I will stay again. Rooms are VERY quiet and tidy. And the location is ideal to the hospital. Thank you for everything

Our sheets were still wrinkled and dirty from the last guest. Went and asked front desk if we could get clean sheets and we would change our own sheets front desk refused to give us clean sheets. Very piss poor additude from front desk there was also bed bug blood stains on the pillows. I do understand that they only have 1 housekeeper but that is no excuse not to try an accommodate their guests. Will not be going there ever again.

Not the newest hotel, but clean. Easy access. Plenty of parking space. Some parking for longer vehicles. I had room 319. Clean. Very quiet. Slept good. The room has a fridge and a microwave. Hot water came within 2 seconds, which is nice for the morning shower. There is no breakfast, but there is a coffee machine in the room. You can go to the nearest grocery store by foot.

The staff were lovely and the folks in the bar were very nice. But the room was old, dingy, dirty and kinda seedy looking. No attempts have been made to update anything. The rate is way to high for the quality of the room and they charge you a safe fee. Never again!
