Schöner Tierpark für einen kurzweiligen Nachmittag. Ich würde sagen in etwa 3h hat man alles gesehen. Es bleibt also viel Zeit für das Offengehege und den Spielplatz. Es wurde schon vieles modernisiert und auch aktuell ist noch ein einiges in Arbeit. Ich würde einen Besuch auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Wir selbst sind bestimmt 2-3 mal im Jahr dort.

Der Tierpark ist absolut zu empfehlen! Es gibt kostenfreie Parkplätze vor dem Tierpark. Für den Eintritt haben wir 8 Euro für die Erwachsenen, Kinder und Jugendliche 2-16 6€ bezahlt. Bei dem Tierpark ist man den Tieren so nah wie nirgendwo. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Unsere 2 Mädchen (1,5&17 Jahre) hatten sehr viel Spaß egal ob mit den Tieren oder auf dem tollen Spielplatz. Essen sollte man sich mitbringen. Das Essen ist Standard Zooessen. Es gibt im Tierpark sogar Wickeltische mit Wärmelampe wo selbst eine Mikrowelle vorhanden ist, um Gläschen zu erwärmen. Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite Mal da und finden diesen Tierpark einfach klasse!

Children Friendly place , it's a best way to spend Sunday with family, taking your kids out for some knowledge of flora and fauna. Here , at the ticket counter , you can get food for these pets , which you can feed to the most of the animals in the zoo. There are more than 15+ kinds of animals in that place, which are amazing to watch. The most interesting thing about that place is how you can interact with them, pet them and feed them as well. There are some rides for kids to enjoy and sitting areas all over the parks for parents to relax and chill. There's is a cafe right next to the ticket counter inside everyone can have a warm coffee. Tipp - Do take your mud boots with you at the time of rainy visit , as in the rainy season , it can be muddy.

Best recommendation for visiting this place is arriving early in the morning or you will wait a bit in the line. Highly recommended that you aquire the food for feeding the animals, this makes the experience much better with the kids. Walking with the deers and be able to touch many animals is really exciting! Prepare your shoes because even in the summer are rain days so there will be mud to walk...

Relaxing place, awesome for kids. Big playground, close interaction with many of the animals (walk-in enclosures), friendly staff. The equipment/animal enclosures feel worn and outdated in some places, but the pricing is very appropriate and they do modernizations where needed. Overall nice experience, also for shorter visits.

The zoo is not far away from Brunswick city with convenient bus connection. Animals are adorable and look healthy. A good place for weekend and family. For 1 Euro you can get a bunch of food to pet goats, deers and others. I didn't expect that the cafeteria in the zoo offered excellent snacks!

Wunderschön! Wir sind super gerne dort und die Kinder haben super viel Spaß. So ein schönes Spielplatz und die Tiere sehen glücklich aus. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Für Familien mit Kindern ist dieser Streichelzoo super. Die Kinder können die Tiere füttern und streicheln. Ebenfalls ist ein schöner großer Spielplatz vorhanden, wo die Kinder sich schön austoben können. Die Currywurst mit Pommes schmeckt auch und der Preis dafür ist auch moderat.

Der Tierpark Essehof ist ein absolut tolles Ausflugsziel, sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene! Das Parken am Tierpark ist für Gäste kostenfrei. Direkt am Eingang befindet sich ein Behindertenparkplatz. Das Kassenpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Durch den Tierpark führt ein Rundweg entlang aller Tiergehege. Hübsche Wegweiser zeigen den Weg. Im Tierpark sind sowohl einheimische Tiere als auch Tiere anderer Regionen zu bestaunen. Kinder und auch Erwachsene kommen im Streichelzoo auf ihre Kosten! Der kleine Ziegennachwuchs ist zuckersüß und hat sehr weiches Fell. Aber Achtung, die Ziegen können sehr frech sein, wenn es um das Bekommen von Futter geht. Auch Schnürsenkel und Haare scheinen ihnen gut zu schmecken, also immer gut aufpassen! Die Tiere sehen alle sehr gepflegt aus und bewohnen schön gestaltete Anlagen. Tierfutter für die Tiere kann an der Kasse oder an zahlreichen Futterspendern erworben werden. Mitgebrachtes Essen darf zum Wohle der Tiere verständlicherweise nicht verfüttert werden! Das Tierpark-Café ist hübsch gestaltet und verfügt über eine große Sonnenterrasse. Das Angebot an kalten und warmen Speisen ist vielfältig und die Preise scheinen für die Größe der Portionen fair zu sein. Ein Besuch im Tierpark Essehof ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Nice place to spend half a day with kids. Animals are well presented and taken care of.

Wir haben hier unsere Zwergziegen erworben und können sagen,dass die TierpflegerInnen sehr versiert und liebevoll mit den Tieren umgingen. Wir konnten ausführlich Fragen stellen und wurden geduldig beraten. Die Tiere sind in hervorragendem Zustand und angenehm zutraulich ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

This is wonderful place for family. A lot of stuff for children, very good and big playing yard with train, carousel, trampoline and other. A lot of animals and what was absolutely overwhelming that you can be near with a lot of them, touch them, give a little bit food. I will say again that for children this is very good place and we will come here again 100%

This park is just so much fun! The animals are adorable, many and so interactive! You may feed and pet the deers, the horses, goats and donkeys. The entrance price is very affordable and the food bags are also cheap. The part of the park is just so much fun! Slides, trampolines, sand, train, mini rollercoaster for one and the parents must stand in the games for them to go on and stay on Sometimes there are food carts, like crepes or fried spiral potatoes and hot choco or coffee. But they have a really cozy (for winter) restaurant (which also has tables outside) the drinks are so good and the sausages and fries are super tasty. The staff everywhere is so friendly and helpful! There are clean and big toilets all around and also a mini hut to feed you baby on a chair and changing tables. This place is just my favorite and we love to go any time of the year!

Family place and place to relax. Well-groomed animals, spacious enclosures, animal feed machines (note that you need to pay attention to what you can feed the animals!). Ich gehe sehr gerne in Tierparks oder auch in Zoos. Der Tierpark Essehof ist mit Abstand der Tierfreundlichste und Besucher freundliche Tierpark den ich je erlebt habe. Tolle Tiere und verschiedene Arten sind vertreten (natürlich nicht ganz so artenreich wie die großen Zoos in der Umgebung) alle Tiere sind super zu betrachten wenn die Tiere es gestatten, die Rückzugsorte der Tiere sind angemessen und klasse für die Tiere.

It may be a small Zoo but it is really a place worth stopping and children would love that place. They have a lot of animals and walk in Deer space. Really love this place. Recommended!

Wunderschöner, gepflegter Tierpark. Es gibt tolle Spielplätze im Park. Ein absolutes Erlebnis für Alt und Jung. Für das leibliche Wohl ist ebenfalls gesorgt. Angefangen von Waffeln, Softeis bis Fischstäbchen. Alles was das Kinderherz begehrt.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Tierpark Essehof. Es gibt viele schöne Gehege mit informativen Schildern, auch für Kinder toll gemacht. Besonders schön finde ich, dass sie auch kranken oder alten Tieren ein Zuhause ermöglichen (dies wurde auch auf einem Schild zB am Eselgehege erklärt). Man kann die Tiere vom Nahem bestaunen und die meisten auch aus der Hand füttern. Ein schönes und günstiges Ausflugsziel!

Für Kinder und Erwachsene ein super Ausflugsziel. Die Kinder können die Tiere füttern,streicheln und kommen sehr nah Ran . Spielplatz ist für sie Kinder Kinder kostenlos was ein super Sache ist da.

A cute small zoo. The animals seem happy and thriving. I love that multiple species share big enclosures as it allows them much more space to roam. Awesome place. It has a playground and a few rides for kids as well.

Great place for petting animals.. kids enjoy very well.. The play area has lot of options for kids of all ages The zoo online app was not go great. UI sucks.. we tried to book the huts while it raining. But was not possible. The baby wickel room is clean. But the adults washrooms were so dirty. There were no disinfectant available. Otherwise, a good experience at zoo.

But pricy but worth the activity area. The zoo itself has reasonable size for smaller or bigger kids. Lots of interactive spots within the zoo. Well done.

Fantastic stopover spot for on the way with toddlers! Cantine could be of better quality. Sparkling beverages are not to our expectations. The rest is good!
