One of the true gems of the Harz region. Accessible only via foot (either from castle Regenstein or Jogy‘s Wald-Kneipe) - and NOT by road (as shown on Google Maps - this would cross a military camp). Also a great outdoor playground for kids - bring your utilities!

Amazing place, reachable by foot. There's a parking place with toilets 🙌🏻 make sure you have proper walking shoes and get ready to enjoy it !

Was great to stumble across this delightful sandstone part in the forest. Complete with caves. I was hoping the caves would be deeper but most are just a few metres deep. Some interesting carvings in the stone along with the usual names being carved too but certainly nice to be there.

Fantastic spot, the walk through the forest is surreal, kids enjoyed the experience and had fun in the little caves.

Pretty cool place, however, the walking paths are not very well marked...

Very good place but sometimes, there can be too many people. I totally recommend. Some nice caves and if you look a bit more, you might end up finding an underground cave. Enjoy and have fun. Don't forget to climb a bit, it is good for health. Bring your picnic and your beers. Take your trash with you !!!

Nice nature with beautiful caves. Only 2 stars, because people destroying these caves by writing their names in the sandstone. Sad to see people not understand the real value of these caves
