The bar was extremely hard to find, but worth the time we spent looking. Perhaps a sign on the wall would make the location more obvious. The bar is very neatly decorated, you'd almost think it was a part of some huge multinational chain of mctaprooms, but no! We had a very pleasant evening sitting down and sipping beers from the well curated selection.

Well, well, well. You take a left and you walk down some stairs before making a quick right (all relative to your starting position of course). Not Maze Runner complicated but well worth the moves. Brewski and some local breweries on tap. Chill environment and friendly staff. Rather similar to the mothership vibe in Helsingborg. They hadn’t fired up the baos when I visited, but if that idea ever comes to fruition I for sure want to find out more on what I hope to be one of many repeat visits.

Excellent craft beer bar that has opened up in Kaivopiha serving as a taproom for Swedish craft brewery Brewski. With 24 draft options incoming, it’ll be a tough choice for patrons to choose between cakey, pastry stouts, citrusy IPA’s or inventive sours (there’s also Brewski’s own lagers on tap for the purists out there). Pours come in a range of sizes. 400 ml are the advertised prices ranging from 7,50-12,50€ from time of this post but you can also get 200 ml pours and eventually they plan to offer flight pours. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and they provide exceptional service. Additionally they’re open on Sundays which is just an added little bonus. They’ve got great aspirations to start serving food and open up their terrace. In short, it’s a very welcome addition to the Helsinki craft scene in a prime location. Edit: need to change my review a bit. I have visited again recently and now about half of their draft menu is Finnish breweries like Tuju and Maku. Very disappointing as it was nice to have a bar that was serving craft beer on draft beer not normally found around Helsinki. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing as they work out supply.

Great selection of taps, although a bit small place there are plenty of seating outside and you can sit there until the closing time, the terrace does not close earlier here! Prices were normal for Helsinki and the service was great, it was the owner with all kinds of stories about beer and Helsinki in general.

Really nice beer bar. 21 beers on tap. Could have up to 25. Mostly beers from Brewski and Friends Brewing out of Sweden. It's a bit hidden but basically across from the main station and behind Clas Ohlson

Cute little spot, cozy decor and a good variety of beers. They do sell bao buns as well (tofu, pork, chicken), but they are huge! They were difficult to eat and the pork wasnt that tasty. Good location!

I found this real ale bar on UnTappd. It was a bit difficult to find - it is in a mini shopping gallery, next to the big one. The barman is the owner. Nice man in a cap. The bar has not been open long, and he told me he did all the work. I particularly liked the “hop” lampshades. The bar has 24 taps (see my photograph). When I was there, there were 20 on, and half were Brewski brews. The others were a variety of guests. The drafts are kept well, and there is a fridge filled with bottles and cans. As I was leaving, the owner encouraged me to share a new sour with him, and I did. As I said, a nice man. I wish him and his bar every success. A recommended stop on your Helsinki real ale adventure.

Awesome selection of beers, some wines and cider! Super nice mead from Lepola too and beautiful decor 😊 Very cozy. Clean and pretty bathrooms!

Amazing craft beer bar, nicely decorated with modern and green architecture. Well rounded beer selection from diferent styles to different brewers. Service was highly knowledgeable with their beer selection and very helpful!

Mahtava erikoisoluiden ystäviä hellivä baari Helsingin ytimessä. Hanassa useampia toinen toistaan parempia oluita ja hinta/laatu-suhde on melko hyvä. Täällä ei tarvitse tyytyä koffin kolmoseen.

Erittäin pätevä ja tunnelmallinen pikkupaikka oluen arvostajille. Paikka kuulemma ollut jo noin puolitoista vuotta tässä todella keskeisellä paikalla, eikä asiakkaat ihan vielä ole mestaa löytäneet. Oli minullekin eka kerta, mutta ei varmasti viimeinen. Itse näkisin, että tässä on kaikki edellytykset menestymiseen.

Mukava pieni paikka keskustan sykkeessä. Kaverille kelpasi useampi olunen joita kyllä löytyykin laidasta laitaan, annoskokoja on useampi, joten maistella voi. Itse keskityin viinin juomiseen, joka hyvää sekin. Varmaan kaupungin siistein vessakin löytyy.
