Small but gold! Great place for an after-dinner chat. The cocktails are great in flavor and presentation. Friendly stuff is a big plus, too. The place gets really crowded on Saturday evenings (before pandemic times). At times, noise made by guests mixed up with loud music was a bit too much for me.

Would give this place 6 stars if I could! Finally found a great cocktail bar (which I had been struggling to find during our trip around Scandinavia) Sat at the bar, and the bartender was amazing! She recommended a number of twists on drinks I like, and was super knowledgeable. I always love learning new things at a bar, and this place definitely delivered! Highly recommend!! (Also don’t drop the menu on your foot, you’ll see what I mean).

All I need in a cocktail bar is delicious and inventive cocktails, and a relaxing and chill vibe. Liberty or Death certainly had both! We stayed for a couple drinks on Saturday night, and the drinks were excellent, I recommend their Gin drinks in particular! The staff was excellent and friendly, and the service was quick for a busy Saturday night.

Came on a Thursday evening around 8:00 pm, there was plenty of open table. The cocktail bar wasn't hard to find, the server quickly attended to us. We ordered four cocktails - would recommend: Kate Moist and Petal for more lighter and tasty cocktails. Great experience overall, we tried to get two cocktails to go, however, they stop selling at 9 pm due to Finland law. Would definitely come back! A good place to hang out and chat with friends while enjoying a cocktail or two!

Visited this place after dinner on a Saturday night while on holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was busy and we got squeezed into a small booth with other people but the super friendly and helpful staff, great cocktails and spirits and cool vibe made for a great evening. I had a beer and rye whiskey and I got a wee flask of water and a metal straw to lengthen it, a very nice touch indeed.

I really enjoyed myself going here, i had a friend visiting Helsinki for one night and we went there because it had been recommended by a friend as a great cocktail bar and they were so right! The service was great, the sharing of seats was cool tho i wasn't a fan of seats with back support to be honest due to a bank injury and the drinks were so amazing 🤩 and the music was rap and they were classics! Plus i recommend av drink called Oriental something out was so delicious 🤤 however it wasnt cheap but worth it.

Out of all the bars I visited in Helsinki, Finland Liberty or Death is my personal favorite. They have a wide variety of drink cocktails for your choosing and they play nothing but good Hip-Hop music. I’m an Old Fashioned whiskey guy and the Liberty Special is by far the best Whiskey drink I’ve ever had.

Great atmosphere and service. The cocktails are also very good, unfortunately it was quite cold inside though.

Legitimate cocktails. Properly made, those ladies know their craft! The music was something that I don't hear anywhere anymore but my own playlists which was surprisingly cool, gives you a very much NYC feel. Thank you and I'll be back!

Went there on a bar tour, when we went inside we were about to sit down at the bar, when the bartender told us to go back to the door and someone will get us seated, which was not professional and convenient at all. The coctails were nicely made, but I was really interested in their house drink, however there were only a couple, there was no good story behind them, and some of the flavours didn't really came out, but that might be really personal overall I think they lacked creativity. The bartenders were friendly and professional. The place from the inside looks nice,but nothing special.

We loved this place!!! The cocktails were the best we have ever tasted. Fantastic service too, unfortunately another customer was sick by our table but the staff cleaned it quickly, apologised and even gave us a free glass of champagne! If we ever visit Helsinki again this will be the first place we come.

The cocktails here are on another level. It's like fine dining for booze. Friendly service. Menu changes regularly. Try the Margarita popsicle (if they have it when you're there). Highly recommended.

Tried a few drinks here one night, one was alright but not mindblowing, the other one was awful. Guess it's either a hit or miss. The place was nice, had its own great vibe with old golden rap hits playing in the background. The drinks felt kinda pricey for what they were. I would love this place if the drinks would be more suited for my taste.

Beautiful moody cocktail bar with super friendly personnel. We were even treated with an extra free cocktail to share, something not very usual in Finland!

Nice establishment, comfortable seating & great drinks selection. Dark & moody kinda vibe. You can also request any classic cocktail that’s not on their list. We received fantastic service from the hostess.

Amazing service by the staff with some delicious cocktails. They had no tables available but managed to fit us in when we arrived. All cocktails are set price of €14 with plenty of different options to choose from.

The atmosphere in the bar was really nice, and so were the cocktails. However, DO NOT order cocktails which are not on the menu. We ordered a Long Island ice tea which was €27. The waiter did not warn us about the fact that this cocktail was double the price of the ones on the menu.
