Not exactly gourmet lunch but the free salad was fine. Service compensated for quality. As can be seen in the picture, it's some sort of Dutch national meal probably. The food took as much preparation as this review.

All the dishes were delicious and satisfying. The staff are kind and willing to visit again next time. Friday evening is very crowded, so consider it when you visit. The first and second floors sell alcohol until 3 a.m. and the restaurant on the third floor is open until 10 p.m.

Beer in Czech is totally different. Glass should be cold in water and serving should be one time shot with consistent foam. Beer have to be for the whole time under this foam. Beer taste like 2 days old. It's making bad name to our national treasure. Brewery Kozel should sent someone to teach them.

Ikinä en ole ennen tätä kertaa käynyt, mutta kehuja olen kuullut ja paljon. Heillä oli tällainen 'riista menu' mikä sisälsi kolme eri ruokalajia ja kaikki oli selkeästi harkittu sekä suunniteltu alusta loppuun. Jokainen eri ruokalaji helli maku nystyröitä ja aina yhden haukun jälkeen sitä toivoisi annoksen koskaan loppuvan. Voin siis suositella lämpimästi Vltavaa jo ruuan, mutta myös erittäin ystävällisen henkilökunnan vuoksi. Ystävällisesti vaihtoivat kaverin oluen, kun ei tummasta välitä

Selkeä ruokalista, hyvin tilaa perjantaina viiden jälkeen. Alkupalat olivat hyvät, fish&chips oikein mainio mutta kaverin schnitzel oli kuulemma kuiva ja mauton. Tarjoilija oli hieman kuutamolla alkuun, eikä oikein vaikuttanut tietävän esim. Yläkerran olutvalikoimasta mitään, mutta hän oli kuitenkin ystävällinen.

Kaunis, vanha rakennus heti rautatieaseman välittömässä läheisyydessä jossa viihtyy joka kerta. Ruoka on maistuvaa ja palvelu hyvää. Tunnelmakin kohdillaan. Hinnat saisivat olla hieman matalammat mutta muutoin ei valittamista. Ihana paikka!

I started with fried cheese, which was slightly overcooked. The mixed grill for the main course was delicious, although a bit on the pricey side. The Marlenka dessert was a highlight. However, I was surprised that a Czech restaurant didn't have Pilsner available, which seemed quite unusual 😁

Hyvä ruoka ja mainio palvelu! Ystävä joutui laittamaan hirvenlihan takaisin keittiöön, kun oli kengänpohjaa. Mutta takaisin saatiin herkullista mureaa lihaa, oikein valmistettuna. Tarjoilija hoiti täydellisesti koko vaihdon!

Lounas aikaan käyty alacartessa. Maistettu pippuri pihviä, grill mixiä, uunijäätelöä ja omena struuderia. Kaikki olivat todella maittavia ja palvelu toimi hyvin.

3 years I haven't had fish and chips since l left England. Till yesterday. Your haddock and chips tested better than England. Equally as tasty as any speak. Brilliant white chips of fish. Taste was delicious. Can't wait to come back

We ate here during blini season. The food was good, but we found that the portions could have been bigger.

Too expensive for the quality. Location is the best aspect of this place. Families are not welcome to dine, so this is targeting people who want to drink alcohol.

Iso, tunnelmallinen ja hieman sokkeloinenkin ravintola monessa tasossa ja kerroksessa. Ulkona myös terassitilaa. Alimmat kerrokset pyhitetty juomakulttuurille ja ylemmät ruokaileville. Alakerrassa 2 baaria ja esim urheilua varten telkkarin ja sireeni myös, joten huuhkajien peli ei sivu suun mennyt vaikkei pelipaikalle päässytkään.

Iso paikka, jossa saa ehtaa ruokaa ja juomista. On onnistunut yhdistelmä pubia ja ravintolaa. Kumpikaan "ei häiritse" toista, molemmissa saa tehdä sitä mitä sinne tultiin tekemään eli syömään tai juomaan. Sapuskapuoli hyvä, maistuvia annoksia oluen kyytipojaksi. Schnitzel iso ja maukas. Sokkeloisen toimiva kokonaisuus, mutta tosi kallis...

Excellent, reasonably-priced lunches. Very friendly staff. Please note that lunch is served at the 3rd floor (no lift). This is a nice place, but being close to the bus stops and the railway station it tends to be a bit of a transient area.

Nice Czech bar and restaurant on center of Helsinki. Had Czech black beer was very tasty. The place is really big so don't get lost. The menu is a bit pricey but that's normal in Helsinki. For schnitzel 26euro it's the highest price I saw in my life.

This building used to be the ticketing office of Finnair. It is a historic landmark in the center of Helsinki though small in size compared with the other buildings in the neighborhood. due to the advent of e-commerce, the building lost its function as a venue of ticketing office. A restaurant may well serve its purpose of being.

The portions were small according to their prices.

The Beer tastes good, but it costs 10€ 0,5Liters. The prices of the food are hilarious. Go somewhere else!

Since my last visit in 2019 prices for meals went up, and quality of the dishes went down. Used to be my go-to spot before a railway trip. Not anymore if the price-quality ratio decline continues.

A nice restaurant right in the center of Helsinki. A quite large establishment, with multiple floors, but still quite cozy and warm. The food and drinks were great. The staff was really professional and nice too. Perhaps not the choice if you are on a budget. The customer activated miniatyre railway on the second floor was a nice touch. 🚂 👌
