Very good 5 star Art Deco hotel in excellent location right at the heart of Helsinki at the border of the Design District. 5 minutes to the main harbor. We enjoyed a lux room which has ample space, desk, large TV, good air con. The bathroom being a bit on the small side, maybe. Very good breakfast buffet until 11, a courtyard terrace for a few drinks and a bistro-style restaurant belong to the hotel. The Bar seems to be closed this summer. Friendly, efficient staff that makes you feel at home.

Upea upgreidattu huone.

Very trendy and chic hotel. Bed is very comfy, loved that our king size bed has two separate twin size down comforter for his and her so I can take cover off or on as needed. No more blanket war! Bathroom floor is nicely warm/heated up, not sure if it’s by design by feels so lovely nice and warm on your feet on a cold Autumn’s day.

my partner and I stayed here for a night during a 24 hour layover on a much longer trip and i can't express how wonderful it was. it was a refreshing oasis. the rooms are stunning, the amenities are wonderful. having a luxuorious shower and lush bathrobe to relax in was much needed. the interior is so cute and it's a very quick walk from helsinki central station. we had a few drinks at the bar which were all impeccably made and delicious. the breakfast buffet was to die for, fresh baked goods, tasty coffee and every classic you could be looking for. the real cherry on top was how kind elisa at the front desk was upon checking in!! she gave us great recommendations for quick sightseeing and delicious dinner and made our short time that much more special. I truly hope to stay here for a longer time in the future!!!

Delightful gem that is ideally located in Helsinki. Friendly helpful staff, clean well appointed rooms and a top notch breakfast. Plus they have this horse lamp at reception that will really challenge your worldview. Keep up the great work!

If your service is rated 2.6 then take a look into a mirror. I was sent to shop to get a dental kit while a 5 star hotel would seek to solve an issue for customer proactively. Breakfast was good, but room was cold. No refund was offered and will not return either.

We stayed in a big corner room. Decor was very nice. Bathroom was prone to water splashing out of shower area. Some cleanliness issue (found a piece of dried corn on the carpet). 3 pieces of curtain but somehow not wide enough to cover the whole window and left a gap. Pillow is not that comfortable. Apart from these issues, the size of the room, decor, size of the bed were all very good!

After a really bad experience with another hotel from the city center, the Lilla Roberts welcomed us warmly. The room was large and clean and the breakfast was delicious! The staff is nice and helpful, they saved our stay in Helsinki! I recommand it!

The staff was professional and pleasant, answering every question, giving tip and guidance. The room was cozy and the bed so comfortable and big! Also, we liked the air conditioning and the accessories offered in the room... Lovely experience 😀

From the moment we got there until we checked out, everything was excellent. Maria and her team made us feel so welcome. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The heating works well and there's a safe & minibar. The rooms are soundproof so we slept really well on the comfy beds. Breakfast is lovely and the gym is good. Great location too.

We didn't originally book here, but were transferred here, as our originally booked hotel was undergoing renovations. Wow, did we luck out! I first have to mention the staff. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful. From the front desk staff to the bar tenders, to the waitstaff in the restaurant. Everyone really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had two different rooms here, as we had two separate bookings during our week in Finland. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby was very modern and stylish, and the lobby bar was a real highlight of our stay. Great staff, delicious drinks, and prices were about on par with what you'd pay at a nice bar here in the United States. Do yourself a favor and choose the breakfast option with your stay. Everything was delicious. I'm going to miss my morning apple cake and buckthorn shot! A truly great stay.

I stayed here for a night during a 24 hour layover. It was wonderful stay like a refreshing oasis. Amenities are wonderful having a luxurious shower was much an experience. The interior is cute and it's hardly any distance from Helsinki central.

Great hotel in a great location, within walking distance to sights and restaurants as well as the tram. We were kindly upgraded to a Lux room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel breakfast buffet was very nice, it had a large selection of high quality items.

We loved our brief stay at this hotel! Highlights included the reasonable price, the delicious breakfast buffet, the ambiance at the restaurant, the front desk staff, the hotel’s location (in city center but on a quiet street in the Design District), and the stylish, comfortable room. The air conditioning in the room was a bit loud, and there was odd puddling in the bathroom (due to the door less shower), but those were very minor issues.

Gorgeous hotel. Really modern, stylish. Rooms are spacious and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. Bar is only open a few days a week but is very good as well.

Decent Hotel with great location. Rooms ok and clean. Service mediocre. Breakfast excellent only minus is that it took forever for anyone to ask if we wanted coffee. Market nearby and parking.

This hotel was beautiful with the art deco noir style. I felt like I stepped out of The Great Gatsby. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of foods like fresh fruit, porridge, meat and cheese, rolls, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon.

Upon arrival, we had to wait half an hour for an employee to even enter the lobby. The rooms, however, made up for the wait. You can reach the waterside as well as several chic restaurants within less than a minute.

Quaint lil boutique hotel - really well appointed, considerate service and a great breakfast. Its close enough to the Market Square, though a bit far from the Central railway (so don't recommend walking).

Lilla Roberts was fantastic from first to last. The location was very walkable and lovely and made it easy to get to my meetings, and it was well situated for stepping out in the evening or exploring town. The coffee was strong and very good (a must when you're especially jet-lagged) and the breakfast I enjoyed there was lovely. The room was spacious, well appointed, and the bed couldn't have been more comfortable. When I visited in July, they also had excellent black-out curtains that made sleeping easy even with the long daylight hours. The bathroom was also particularly outstanding (the heated floors are clutch in the winter) and the rain shower was a total blessing after so many hours in a plane. I already look forward to my next work trip Helsinki.

One of the best hotel experience in the world. Value for the money. Great rooms. One of the best breakfasts - big selection options + assistance. Good location. Good WiFi. Service - also good.

Never walk inside this hotel because you are fascinated of the style and what you see through the windows from outside. Frontdesk girls wont get back to you even when they promise to text you or will give you a recall for the actual rates. Nothing will happen. But once you're checked in, it's wonderful! The breakfast room seems like an old coffeehouse. Nice furnitures and homemade breakfast. Many kinds of specials! The best jam I ever had: homemade raspberry jam. The first morning I ignored the orange version beside because I thought it would be orange jam - the waiter told us about that this is cloudberry jam - made out of ths arctic belly fruit. Delicious. Not bitter asmade from oranges, not sweet as many jams are. Healthy but witrh a little spirit of Vitamins you can taste. This buffet is full of little taste adventures to explore Finnland foodstyle. We would like to come back.

Absolutely great hotel and service. Stayed in a slightly larger room which had really nice interior. Location is close enough as walking distance to central Helsinki, but still in a quiet area.

It was average, the room was tiny, the facilities old but style was nice and location was great. As a ‘top quality’ hotel it would be best to keep food/beverages open Sunday evenings. When the lobby bar was closed it was soulless and we are all in different time zones relying on a hotel for comfort and service that we pay good money for.

I booked through American Express' Hotel Collection and prepaid for the room. The room was great, and was centrally located. This was my first trip to Europe so I wanted something nice. When we went for brunch at the restaurant, we were told that all tables were taken and we should had made advance reservations. It would have been nice for us to have been told this at check in, as I would have made reservations for brunch then. The restaurant manager (I assume) thought outside the box and we were able to get our food and dine in the lobby. Not idea, but a good compromise given the circumstances. The main issue I had with the hotel is that when my partner left, the front desk associate told her that she had to pay the balance of the stay. Even after my partner told her that it was prepaid, the associate insisted that she needed to pay for the whole hotel. I had already left sind I had an early morning flight. After numerous calls, my partner had to return to the hotel and show the associate my American Express receipt to obtain a refund. In addition, due to exchange rates, she received a considerable amount less than was originally charged on her card. I don't want to imagine what would have happened if my partner did not have the ability to cover all the charges of the room when she checked out. Please train your associates to avoid this extremely embarrassing experience from repeating itself.

Location nice and quiet. Lively hotel, rooms are cozy. The breakfast room crowded (summer times). Could be more comfortable if having an extra space. Despite the crowdiness, the service was great and no waiting times in getting to eat.

It’s indeed a very good one, I particularly like the room decoration and the breakfast, which in my opinion is one of the best in its class. Personnel is friendly and seem to know what they’re doing. Also the fact that size of the venue is manageable is a good thing. The fact that they have a online check-in process speeds up things for a busy traveler, however the process could have a few steps and entries less. Overall almost five stars... ☺️ …and I guess why not five, boils down to overall value for money, it’s usually a bit on the expensive side. Not quite like five star hotels, but definitely higher end of the four star. Exactly as the quality of the venue.

Really beautiful and comfortable rooms in a great location. I highly recommend the breakfast onsite too. We had a few issues with service hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Hotel Lilla Roberts skillfully merges style with history, situated conveniently between Helsinki's dynamic business district and an esteemed residential area. This location ensures a peaceful yet easily accessible stay, just a short distance from top-tier restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, the hotel does lack amenities like a swimming pool and sauna, making it particularly suited for business and leisure travelers in the warmer seasons. Nonetheless, during Helsinki's chillier months, guests might find the room temperature, which rarely exceeds 20°C, a bit uncomfortable, especially when outside temperatures plummet to -20°C. Additionally, despite its 5-star rating, the hotel does not offer concierge services. Moreover, the level of hospitality at the reception could be enhanced to better reflect the hotel's prestigious status.
