Pillows and blankets smell terrible. Do u ever wash them? It is so terrible that my clothes started to smell too.

Cozy and quiet! The staff are wonderful and informative. The place is clean and pretty well maintained. I liked how quiet it was even though it's on a busy road. The area is lively, and maybe 'up and coming' but it's really conveniently located for the metro, trams and buses.

The place is extremely clean, on a perfect location close to the centre and public transport. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It was a very positive experience for a great price.

This hostel is a fairly small guesthouse. It has an open kitchen to dining area, but only 2 tables available. There are 2 toilets with shower rooms, so only 2 people can use it at one time. The service is very helpful and nice. Lots of maps and guides are also available. 24h supermarket is 20 meters away. Hostel is located about 45min walking from central rail/bus station, but you go only straight, so very easy to go whichever direction you go. Check-in at 2pm, check-out at 11am. Service desk open from 8am to 8pm, but hostel open 24h with key that you get at your arrival.This key also locks door to your room and to your personal locker inside room. I had very tight room with 4 dorm beds inside, no table or chairs, just beds and safety lockers. Available is large fridge and large freezer and other kitchen stuff for cooking. Same for plates, cups, bowls, pans, utensils. Apart from dining area there is also some sort of living room (two cofee tables and 2 sofas around them) where you can rest. Not very big, but better than nothing. In my opinion it's a great place to stay as a sleep-on-a-budget solution as other places are much more expensive in the city centre. 4 stars for a very competitive price, friendly service and overall good conditions.

I have sojourned at the Sweet Dream guesthouse for an extended period of time and am extremely happy I did. The staff is kind, pleasant, friendly and always helpful. The owner, Will, is very easy to talk to, and won’t hesitate to do anything he can to make one’s stay as free of worries as possible. The place is kept clean and tidy, there are freebies like coffee, tea and sweets. The kitchen is a decent size and fully equipped. There is also a computer that can be used free of charge. During the daytime, one can enjoy free access to a large terrace and picnic table. Unlike some other guesthouses, the lockers in the rooms are free to use and completely safe as only your keycard is needed to open and close them. Sweet Dream is located on a Main Street, with a pizzeria and sushi place at the corner, and shops, trams and buses literally a few steps away. There is also a lovely park right behind it where one can go to enjoy nature, exercise or just take a walk. The whole guesthouse doesn’t feel like one, but rather like a cosy place where fellow travellers and locals alike can meet and share a quiet chat and a good laugh - at a reasonable price. Friendly staffs. Clean room. The kitchen is clean most of time. Quiet hostel. Other guests are also nice. A guy made coffee and boiled a pot of eggs for everyone every morning. He told me that he only stayed 4 days but had 20 eggs. There was a lady made a pie one night and shared with me.

Loved my stay there. I stayed for 4 days in March and it wasn't busy but felt very homely. It's was more like an apartment that you share with other travelers than a hostel also because there are only 5 rooms. The kitchen is big and well equipped. There are electronic lockers, a nice lounge area and free wifi. The receptionists were super friendly and happy to give tips on what to do. Would definitely stay there again!

Shared apartment used as a budget accommodation. We really liked friendly staff, calm and quiet atmosphere (depends on other visitors of course, we were lucky that we shared with good people) and fine neigborhood with many shops and restaurants. What might be a problem for someone: the whole aparment doesn't look super clean, the rooms and shared facilities as well. Rubbish bins were not being emptied and therefore were totally full and stinking through the kitchen. I'd also suggest to give an entry card to every person and not only one per whole group.

Overall a very good hostel. When you arrive the bed is already prepared for you and the kitchen has everything it should have. You do however not get a towel, and if you need one you will have to rent it (for a cheap price). You get a rather small locker right next to your bed. The neighborhood is perfect for partying, since many major bars and clubs are located near by.

One of the best hostel I have ever been 🤩( and just to base this ... I have travelled in several cities of And outside Europe ) Atmosphere was so cozy that I almost thought that its my home and forgot that I am in hostel. Good air and Clean environment ( but not like in hospitals) its still warm with livefull/ boho vibe. Staff were easygoing and relaxed. And located in the best place of Helsinki 😍🤩🧡

It's facing a major road with trams going by so it makes some noise, also from traffic. The rooms are small and the madresses are vary thin. The hostel is quite dirty, it needs a deep clean badly. Okay service upon arrival and good functional kitchen. Not the best common areas and not many social activities.

I really enjoyed my stay! The building is easy to find, on the main street of Hämeentie. Metro, tram and bus stops are close, just couple hundred meters away. There are at least 4 supermarkets around. One supermarket opened for 24 hours including Saturday and Sunday! There is a Lidl 300m away. The decoration and overall atmosphere is cosy and warm. Rooms are generally clean. There's a guest fridge and well equipped kitchen so you can cook your own foods if you want to. The big backyard is good in summer time!

This hostel has great transportation connection and 24h supermarket nearby. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Bus to the airport is only 200m away from this hostel. 20mins walk to the city center and many restaurants around this place. The backyard is AWESOME and I love the decoration in the room. I had good experience in here.

Such welcoming staff, never had someone carry my bags up the stairs in a hostel before! Beware the private room is right next to a busy street with trams and cars however still slept great with earplugs. The place is cosy however could do with different beds. In the dorms the beds are made from metal and make a lot of noise even just when rolling around in them. Apart from that the place is nearby to trains and trams which make it easy to get around. Everything was very clean, which is a huge plus.

I had a good stay. The staff was very helpful and gave me some good recommendations. The location is not that center, but very convenient. There is tram 7 goes directly to Western Terminal, 24hours opened supermarket, and Metro 50m away. There is a old market hall only about 10min walking distance. The second floor is lovely! The hostel is clean and comfortable.

I only stayed for one night, but it was clean and comfortable for a hostel. The lack of bathrooms could have been a problem, but I only used them once in the middle of the night due to my late arrival. The late check in/ early check out was quick and easy.

Good amenities but not very clean. The staff is friendly but unfortunately there were some strange people staying here like the lady who ate fries in her bed every night. Someone boiled eggs and left them on the stove for three days. Sometimes it would smell like cigarette smoke inside. Can't put all the blame on the hostle, but the place could have benifited from a good clean and opening a window.

Very nice Hostel, good for the price. About 10minutes by public bus from the central train station. Very helpful staff, corresponding by email as we had to check in very late and they left very detailed instructions. We booked the double room, kitchen was well stocked, the WiFi worked well and there was a guest computer as well, a sauna and roof terrace. Room and place was clean and tidy. Very useful hints and tips on where to go in Helsinki. Would recommend for a cheap, good place to stay for a couple of nights.
