Absolutely loved this place in Helsinki. I discovered it by chance walking around and was positively surprised. It is a very welcoming unpretentious bar upstairs where you can just relax with friends, grab a beer 🍻 (even a Finnish one), play some board games and enjoy the evening. They even serve Nepalese momos which are absolutely delicious. I had the ones with meat. The two guys at the bar were great and very welcoming. Don't miss this bar when in Helsinki!

Just one word: momos! The super friendly guys here make outstanding momos (vegan option shown here), the best momos I've eaten outside of Asia, absolutely fantastic. And the pub is nice too ;)

I had authentic momo here after so many years. Food was delicious within reasonable price. The atmosphere is cozy and service is great!

For me the most important thing is customer service, even if the products are regular or bad , you can stay always more and come back because of good treatment. 👀I ordered white wine but for my surprise it was very acid like vinegar tasting. I asked to be changed because i couldn’t drink but the woman in the cashier didn’t say aanything to validade my experience , my glass was full and i was telling the true , instead she very rudely said I had to order again another drink one. And she said that the wine is fresh etc (she didn’t show me the fresh open bottle or anything like that). But if the wine has bad quality how can i ordered another and pay one more? 🤨 the dumplings could have been better, the red sauce was cold tough the pasta was warm. I don’t know if that’s how it is served? another problem is that there is no detailed description of the food, for example: what it contains apart from meat and vegetables? lactose free, vegan, gluten, nuts allergies etc. I didn’t know there was so much spicy , i am allergic to that so i couldn’t eat everything. it was a bad experience and i wish i wont go back , my friends also disapproved 😑

It’s a bit loud place and seems like authentic Nepalese restaurant. The overall vibe is relaxed but bit loud. Good food at super cheap price ( 10 momos at 11.90e )

The momos are incredible tasty. We even went for a second round. The beer is really cheap and well drafted. Would always to again.

Yummy momos, seems like a hidden gem in this area as it's on the first floor. Cosy place , good for small groups and can imagine being a regular hangout.

The place is quite small but is really nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. Was here at a wednesday "open stage" band night. If you like jamming/live music or want to play yourself i think this might be the best place to be at thursday evenings in helsinki.

You get the best Nepalese street food here MO:MO: (Nepalese dumplings). Nice vibe and authentic traditional design. Really nice place to hangout. Small and cosy. And fridays they have live jamming evening. Check it out!

They don't accept Canadian vaccine certificate whereas it's been accepted all over Europe and Finland. Very weird. Don't visit if you don't have a EU vaccine certificate as they can't read other certificates. Edit 1: please see below in reply to the owner's comment: First, thanks for taking the time to respond. I clearly told the person that this is a Canadian vaccine certificate and thus won't be readable by the QR machine that only reads EU certificates. However, instead of understanding and reading my Canadian certificate + my ID, as everywhere else in Finland (including where I went for dinner after being refused at Katmando), the person didn't even care to listen and consider, and just asked me to leave the premises. Even when I said I'll atleast do a takeout, the person agreed, however, first said that I'd need to go out before even taking my payment and accepting my order. I understand and respect the rules that the government has mandated, however, no where does it say that only EU certificates would be accepted. In a global city like Helsinki, if you're going to be so rude, dismissive, and unable and unwilling to consider that your patrons may not all be from Europe, then I am not sure what to say. You may call it a "misunderstanding" or blame it on the rules, however, from my perspective, the person was rude, dismissive, and very unwelcoming and not hospitable. I am so very disappointed.

Great bar! Very atmospheric and the Nepalese dumplings with spicy sauce are a must try! Can be crowded sometimes and the place is not that big.
