I had a wonderful time with my family. We were treated above and beyond our expectations, especially with regard to the food, which was prepared exactly as we requested. The caretaker was extremely helpful and met all of our needs. The safari was fantastic, and the driver was a very pleasant individual.

Wow is the word for Jungle House - i absolutely loved the suroundings, bordering the Rakwana river, the house is set amidst beautiful greenery and it is so peaceful here, perfect getaway from city life !! If you are planning a trip to Jungle House make sure to buy your groceries for the duration of your stay! The caretaker and cook were really helpful and friendly and the cuisine was 5 star ! Loved the Sri Lankan chicken curry and tempered vegetable and salads. I stayed for two nights so i was able to explore the large garden and the river which is quite breathtaking, reminds me of a Tarzan movie. I highly recommend Jungle House- you can book a safari on request, but we chose to go and visit the Elephant Transit Home, that was a great experience too.. 5 stars for the location and comfortable rooms, beautifully done in earthy colours !! Ideal place for nature lovers !!

I've had the opportunity to visit this property twice and both times it didn't disappoint. Loved the flexibility the place allowed. Food was amazing. Chilling in the stream was probably the highlight for me. Overall good memories of my trips here. Definitely recommend.

Great service and very helpful staff. The food and the cooking was excellent. Recommended for extended family gatherings or a group of about 10-15. A good place to stay relaxed close to the nature. Booking ahead and deciding the meal plans and lodging is advised.

Awesome place to enjoy with great service . Cook is very good and there is a caretaker too. Your team can enjoy the night with bbq music and more actvities without any interupption.

My Friends and I checked in on 2nd of September, and Mr. Perera and helped us from the first hour. The meals were the most delicious which we have tasted outside home, and were made according to our requirements. The best thing about the place is the service and the nice hosts we met. There is a river flowing by the side of the hotel, and it was a very nice experience. Butbe mindful to check the level of water and always adhere to manager advices.

It was good family stay the location is fabulous with river front view and the caretaker couple was very helpful with tasty food
