First ever visit made today, first they have big parking lot even in crowded Kalubowila. When I entered the smell that came was fantastic. They have wide range of food options including lunch, bakery items, juices, groceries. Not tried any meal yet but should taste it soon, the food seems tastier and the coffee place is quite and well built.

Possibly the best supermarket in the Nugegoda area. Layout and presentation are excellent. Have plenty of products that the others don't offer. Huge parking lot. Has meats, salmon, iced tea that are only available here. Plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, cooked meats and food like lasagna. I have a feeling this will be my supermarket of choice in future.

A great addition to Kalubowila junction. I must say the shopping experience you get here can’t compare to the either of food cities available at Kalubowila. They have a really good selection as well as some household items are available (But not much compared to the Kiribathgoda outlet) prices are okay but for some reason the Spar branded items seems to be expensive whereas you can buy the same item for less with same quality. Beware they don’t have a pharmacy available though. The shop is opened till 11 o’clock so that’s another nice addition. The staff is really helpful. The downfall would be their bakery. Yes it looks colorful and tasty but I never expected such bad bakery items from such a standard outlet. So definitely keep your paws out of there bakery!

Great supermarket with variety of food products... So many sections like Vegetables house Hould and other bakery items... maintained very cleanly and manged well... Friendly staff with variety of services ...

Great place to buy variety of quality food products, household items, some baby products. They also have a bakery and a spacious parking area. Staff is friendly but sometimes hard to find staff members except ones at the counters

As a Student of CSIC Me and my freinds go there all the time and the expirience is pretty good, when we have after school activities we come here to buy rice or a bun and it is delicious.

Pretty gloomy atmosphere inside and even the staff look unhappy. Didn't see a single smiling face the day I visited. All the groceries and food stuff are available as in the other outlets. The only bright thing is the well stocked modern looking liquor shop which I have not seen in any of the supermarkets in the surrounding areas including Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia, Nugegoda etc. The atmosphere inside sucks.

You will feel the difference of a local supermarket chain and an international when you had a visit to SPAR. Since they established in Sri Lanka and up to now they maintain a high quality service of everything they deliver to customers in house. Even it’s crowded well Mannered positioning of items are neat and tidy. Staff are very supportive

Great product range. Fresh vegetables and fruits available. Not only those flower pots also available. Good collection of backery products available. If you visit in the evening you can enjoy hot plain and egg 🥚 hoppers. Backery products freshly made. Easy access from the main road. Parking available.

SPAR Supermarket in Kalubowila, Dehiwala is one of a well-known chain of supermarkets in Sri Lanka. They offer an extensive range of groceries, beverages, household goods etc in a very pleasant shopping environment. Many deals and discounts add to the shopping experience. Highly recommended.

Good: Parking area is spacious. Variety of prepared food available for dine in or take away. Bad: Limited brands available. Stinky and unclean dining area. Has a darker and cluttered vibe.

The restaurant area is really good with lots of food options. Almost all the foods are made right there including the drinks. There's a spacious area to have the food also. Highly recommend!

Very proudly presented Lots of staff. No price board on items. ( 3 times/ 1st day I ask the staff, second day to superviser, 3rd day to manager ) The tall Manager has No courtesy to apologise or explain about the issue. Just ignored and went away. I I have applied for a senior citizen card more than a month. The staff took my application and promise to call soon as possible. I geuss they have lots of application to work though. Typical Sri Lankan customer service, unfortunately. When we are going to learn ?

Overall its good place to shopping but if they can give more training for cashiers that will help to reduce the queues.

The restaurant is poorly maintained. Everytime I went there the source bottles were empty. Once, I asked for a source bottle which the staff didn't attend to, I had to go down multiple times to ask again and again. Fresh vegetables and fruits are usually good.

Very fresh supermarket, it is a customer friendly place, can buy many foods here from various brands & moreover its is very clean apart from other supermarkets.

Visited the location twice in my entire life, with the last being in March. Happened to walk in as I wanted to buy some food items, and as a customer i did wanted to use the washroom facility to my dismay the facility was out of service. Not the friendliest of staff, and they tend to throw vegetables instead of carefully staking them. Imagine the plight of vegetables such as tomato when they are being thrown to the pile..

It has many products which have offers. And they have fresh veges and buns. Lunch is also available here. Cakes are pricey. The place is well organized and some ice cream varieties which are not available in regular supermarkets are there.

A spar experience, dropped by late night just before close of business, usual for me as this gives me rough idea about the business. Whats important was for me to explore unilaterally to see about the products stocked and price, else is the ambience the place has to offer. I see a broader range of products, competitive. Seen a lot of cooked food for a new suburban executive kiosk. Looks yummy for my tummy but if I grab a yummy my mummy will know from my tummy. No mood to eat. Atmosphere here is mellow. It's a reasonably upmarket place strategically located next to the Kalubowila hospital junction. Teaching hospital Colombo South is just a stone's throw away. Entrance to the premises is on both roads it faces. Car parking is generally adequate. It stores most of the items that are stored in the rest of the supermarkets of the Spar chain. Goods are well displayed and arranged. The little restaurant is a welcome feature - similar to the other Spar outlets. Having a completely separate exit for those who leave after paying at the cashier's - not mingling with the crowd at the entrance is a well thought of feature.

Much more variety and choice than at food city and Keels. Even the ambience is better. Friendly and helpful staff.

SPAR maintains good standards. Though this place is not a quite large one but, it has a decent variety of day to day items and also you will find a bakery, pharmacy and a meat/fish stall. This is one of the few supermarkets where you can find some quality imported foods like "Salami slices, etc." Overall this is a good supermarket where there are no long queues in here.

A superb place for shopping. You can get a variety of choices over here, all under one roof. You can get various fruits, vegetables, everyday essentials, seafood, meat, other groceries, books, desserts, fresh baked cakes, breads and fresh fruit juice, etc. I loved my experience here and would prefer to visit this place again for shopping.

My go to shopping place ! No queues, organized supermarket. They have a small cafe/restaurant too for dine in , and you can get breakfast, lunch, dinner too. It’s a bit pricier than Keells but better for me.

The staff is really supportive. You can buy many backary items from here. Buns are the best 🍞. You can get lunch and dinner packets also from here. I usually go there because of relatively large parking 🅿️ area. I forgot to bring a broom 🧹 that I purchased from this store, when I go next day they gave it me. They have a leftovers book 📖 and my broom was mentioned there. There is a large collection of meat 🍖🥓 items here.

Superb Supermarket.. From quality standard to service..They have spacious parking..they have a good spread of produce and day to day food items.. There is a harpos pizza branch out side.. The unique thing in spar is its bakery and takeaway counter.. There is so much of variety.. Other thing was the cashier slots.. All of them were attended to so there was no queue.. Overall a superb experience..

The baked goods are simply ridiculous here. 190 bucks for a cinnamon roll , no cinnamon or sugar. Nothing but a lump of baked dough. Pretty much the same for anything else. Some of them are actually stale.
