Nice breakfast with affordable cabinet food. I appreciated that they use an oven rather than using a microwave to heat up the cabinet food. Coffee was nice, nothing special but still nice. Ambience was relaxing and the staff were pleasant at the till and delivering food. Strange how you can only access through Mitre 10 though, but I get why they’d do that.

Very disappointed, we got a plate of chips for the kids it was $7.50 for a very small amount. The coffee was so hot it burnt your mouth on the first sip. Thankfully the staff were friendly and the playground great for the kids

Good place to stop by for a coffee or lunch. They have a selection of prepared food and an all day menu including kids options. It's located inside of Mitre10 next to the playground.

Lady at the counter greets customers with a frown, not warm and welcoming at all, and was rude to a family dining in (something about the takeaway cup they requested that will cost them 80c, i heard her loud voice all the way from the other end of the room). I swear i saw her roll her eyes a few times too, even at me. Time to change staff at the counter, a friendlier one maybe? Although i love coming to Mitre10, I'll think twice about getting a cup of coffee.

The service was ok when I ordered, however when I mentioned id been given the wrong flavour the male owner argued and said that is what I had asked for. He then gave a sarcastic smile and seemed irritated while he reluctantly got the correct item. The female worker was lovely and the food and coffee was nice. Its a shame the customer service of the male has caused me to leave such a poor review

June 2023 Returned to this cafe for lunch. A nice selection of food in the cabinet and on the menu board. Selected from the menu board (lunch time). There is a small issue with birds populating the cafe (sparrows). In general this is a nice Columbus Cafe but the sparrows meant that Reduced my rating to a 4 star.

The hollandaise sauce on our eggs bene tasted a lot like mayo which put us off and the Belgium iced chocolate tasted like the Cadbury drinking chocolate but with whipped cream on top.

This place is cozy and wonderful. They treated me as a friend Thx :) I wanna go there everyday as can as I possible. Foods and beverages are stunning as well. Especially I love the table in front of the garden. What a lovely place!

Usually come here a lot but the service has been bad. The kitchen is always closed?? Gone majorly downhill and unreliable. I asked the lady for tomato sauce with my chips and she literally rolled her eyes at me cos she had to go get it!? Not impressed what was once a nice place is not anymore

The food was nice and very well presented but I found the staff member that served us a bit rude and dismissive. Lowered my rating as I had 2 free coffees on my columbus rewards and they wouldn't let me change the milk to almond due to allergy so they were basically unusable to me which is disappointing.

I ordered coffee from here and asked for it to be really warm, as I am heat sensitive. The coffee was actually really hot and burnt the tip of my tongue. This wasn't subjective, as the cup was as hot as the other cup of coffee we ordered at "normal" temperature. When I went to ask about this, the female staff were helpful but a male staff member there rudely (raised his voice, and then implied I wasn't being truthful) told me that it was "warm" and that he made it "50 degrees". I stated that it wasn't and the other cup of coffee was just as hot. It genuinely burnt my tongue too. His comment was really invalidating. Another staff member offered to re-make it, but he intervened and offered to pour milk in it. This was fine as it was a resolution. However, I had also waited 20 minutes for this drink, whereas others got their order earlier. There was a full team working there. Overall, it was really disappointing and left me not wanting to come back. That's not how you treat people.

Have been coming here for a few years now on & off but have been extremely disappointed with the last two visits as prices have increased but portion sizes have shrunk. Service is no longer as friendly so have to say after today they have lost my bui business.

Restaurant prices for a corn fritter stack that I could have made better myself (and trust me I am no chef) 3 fritters with very amateur attempt at presentation. Bland tasting (All 3 of them) and thin. The frappe was extremely average too. Taste was ok but seems like they made it with iced water rather than ice. To be honest the food at costco across the road was better. Its not the greatest either, but at least it tasted ok and filled me up and at a fifth of the price. Second time eating here and there wont be a third. Half the staff are friendly and nice but the other half are cold without acknowledgement or smiles. Also time for the fritters to arrive was unacceptable (We had finished our drinks long before)
