First time visiting the store and the first time trying Texas Chicken. Thoroughly enjoyed the spicy wings and the burger. Brioche burger buns are really good. Loved the gravy that comes with the mashed potato. Definitely going to visit again.

missing majority of order, chicken was so overcooked and dry it was inedible. Hot wings wernt hot at all, bland and stale. missing 2 large coleslaws, 3 large potato gravy was substituted with 7 single serves. 13 half half pieces were put together and could not tell which was spicy or original. All looked the same burnt colour. Mainly drums and wings, picture 1-is the 4 piece pack (3 drumsticks and a wing) rip off. Not worth the $120 cost. 2 pic

I ordered online and drove from the city center to the store to pick up. Only burgers, salads and fries were given. I was very disappointed that the fried chicken in the set menu was not given to me and this burger was cold too.

Definitely never going back. Staff was looking to my face when I try to place an order like she lives in another world.like she doesn't hear me.when I understand my order hasn't been placed properly I ask to repeat the order.she was looking to my face and words trying to come out of her mouth like she is dying.what a horrible place messed up my day!everything is wrong in this place

Nice fry chicken especially the spicy flavor. Very juicy both wings and large fries. The meat very fresh because the bone and meat stick very well after bite. The service really good fast and perfect. Just something need improve the restaurant so chill. Chicken in burger so small just like with out bone wing size. Just cover half burger bread. Parking place really hard to find. However more tasty than KFC in personal opinion.

Had relatively high expectations but was unfortunately the grossest takeaway I have had in a while. The wrap was soggy and dripping in way too much mayo and the chicken in it was gristley. The fries were cold and soggy and the mashed potato was a joke.. it was the size of a small dipping sauce container and so salty, grainy and tasted nothing like potato - I threw it out. There was also no gravy too.. just ‘potato’? Worst experience!

We did an online order and picked it up at the shop. We realised that they forgot the honey butter buns after returning so we had to go back. The food was nice though. The chicken was really juicy and had a nice flavour. The spicy one was spicy but it was mixed in with the original so it was a bit of guessing to find them. The potato and gravy was ok, there wasn't much gravy so it was a bit dry. The honey butter buns were really nice. great if you love the taste of honey. The scone/biscuit had a nice texture. The food was good.

5March2022, 1. All the tables were messy 2.No hand tissue paper near wash basin 3. Toilets were dirty 4. Had to wait up to 30mins as no chicken was available to serve. I have noticed similar Messines last few months, I used to ignore but today I went with my kids & I couldn't tolerate, I reported this to the Manager, his excuse was short of staff, I can see 3 people busy in taking orders, it just take 10 to 15 mins to cleanup the tables, clear rubbish bins, refill the tissue paper. Manager for sure not interested,as if it's not my job, I saw customers were clearing rubbish & cleaning the tables to dine in. Worst place to dine in.

Worst chicken ever we had from Texas. We rally wanted to try something new but seems like we made a bad choice. Chicken seems to too hard and it was served cold. We ordered Dual Deal and we got all these pieces which seems to be rejected by many. Hope we will get better service next time.

Opening time is 10am, but you have to wait more than 30 mins to get your order. What a waste of time just sitting and waiting. We’ve been told to wait 20 mins, but we got our food at around 10:45am. The fried chicken all look burnt and it’s hard to know which one is the original and which one is spicy. 😤😩 Just change your opening time a bit later if you can’t prep the food on time.

Always getting the order wrong for the drive thru and charging us the amount that we’ve actually ordered. So we are getting shortchanged here. Ordered upsized for fries they put it in a small box and put the honey butter bun in the large fries holder. Please get it together and stop cheating us of our money! we shouldn’t have to go back to get it changed and swapped out when you should be getting it right the first time. 4/5 drive thru visits result in a wrong order packed.

The chicken was delicious but we had to wait 20mins for the chicken to be made.. they had a hand washing basin outside the toilet in the restaurant dining area. Had a big parking area for customers to park. Recommend their gravy but not their cheese and bacon gravy..

We love fried chicken. This store on this day has been the best service we've received. Mash potato is pretty good for fast food.

Adding another review on top of my previous one, the team that served at lunch on the 30th July are the best, they refunded me immediately for a small mistake they made, best customer service by them. This is by far the best and fastest place to get a takeaway in Lincoln Road, drive through orders have been consistently fast for the last year or so, and the quality of the fried chicken has been outstanding.

Very big and delicious pieces of chicken. Gravy is also flavourful and pairs well with fries and even the chicken too. Sad that they don’t have a branch in the east, but it’s amazing.

I am currently visiting from Canada and I decided to come visit the Lincoln Road branch this afternoon and I am very impressed. The food was amazing and the customer service was top notch, the lobby was impressively clean and I felt comfortable. I must admit the food here is better than Church’s Chicken back home. If I could I would give 10 stars to the manager - I think her name was Sara? Today I saw a man that was being problematic in the restaurant today and I saw how Sara professionally handled the situation, she was very calm and patient with the customer.

In my last couple of stops I've found the availability of things on the menu to be a challenge. My last stop resulted in a 30 minute wait on original chicken, a 10 minute wait on biscuits, and no large mash potatoes ready. All at 4:50pm? This used to be a fast and reliable occasional stop for dinner.. unfortunately, no more.

Awesome customer service. Huge thank you to the curly haired young man who helped us out to carry the fifty chicken to the van! When I saw how many bags there were for fifty chicken pcs, I was quickly calculating how to get them all into our van with my little brothers help, but he offered to help us take it there. God bless him. Please give him a raise.

The cashier is very friendly and handsome 🙌! My colleague told me the fried chicken here is very tasty, so I had to try it! I ordered spicy mega meal with burger and it tasted great. It is in the West City shopping mall and the food court looks very clean. Highly recommended and I would definitely come back again!

One of the best fried chicken outlets. The taste is much better than many of the competitors. A decent amount of parking slots are available, and there is a drive thru as well. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for fulfilment of the order but it's still worth it.

Always an excellent experience here. Staff are super-friendly and efficient. Store is clean and well kept. Large and airy enough to comfortably have a family meal. Their crunchy chicken is out of this world!!! Parking can be hard to find during peak times. Overall - pretty awesome!

Spicy chicken is nice. Crunchy outside, juicy inside but not the original as they're a bit dry, They don't give tissue unless you asked. The restaurant needs "SPICY" decorations to make it more appealing to customers

So much better than KFC. Chicken is not greasy, it's actually crunchy, its hot and fresh. Burgers have real cheese. Gravy in potato gravy actually tastes like proper gravy. Chips are the right amount of crunchy. You really couldn't ask for much more.

THIS PLACE IS RUBBISH YALL, specially one manager at Lincoln road his service is so terrible cannot speak to customers properly and just is so rude when taking orders, and likes to make irrelevant comments. Twice I have come here and have been told I can’t get certain items when I was able to get the same thing during that day? Makes no sense, but I believe he should not work there with an attitude problem like so. People like him shouldn’t work in the industry if you don’t have the capability.

I love texas chicken and I recommend it to all my friends. But sometimes I think they just to busy to check what you have ordered online…… I ordered half spicy and half original, however all the fried chicken were original…… It tastes good but not what we were expecting…..

Chicken is consistently moist, unlike the other fried chicken place 😁. We ordered at 7.30pm but was told the 'lobby' was closing in 20 min. Google actually said the closing time is 10pm so not entirely sure what is correct? Dining area was messy, would appear that the restaurant was under staffed. Still the best fried chicken in town and for a very reasonable price 👍

Group of us visited for the first time, I ordered the Big Club burger. Was ok, but the bacon on it was an absolute joke - 2x pieces about the size of a finger nail. Wish I'd taken a pic.. Wife ordered a 2 piece meal, original. They gave her spicy. I returned it and they replaced it. With one original and one spicy. So they obviously they had no idea what they had cooked on the trays. Food also was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting around for a while. Don't think we'll be trying it again.

Great value when comparing with KFC. The pieces are massive and the crispy skin is tasty. It is less oily than KFC too. Some of their combo meals come with a lot of food for the price. Really good. Will be back. Also has some brioche bun spicy Texan burger thing which was really good. Whatever spicy mayo sauce they put in there was so good. Definitely more spicy than some of the other more mainstream places who *think* they know what spicy is.

The spicy chicken is fairly juicy, the consistency is there. It's to be expected to be a very busy shop since this branch could be the best one so far. The rest are in food courts which isn't ideal for a slow and easy dine-in experience. Always go for the spicy burgers as the originals are just really an acquired taste unless you like cheese.

Nice and crispy pieces of chicken. Very meaty and not oily at all. Everything tasted delicious and very fresh, (except the mash potatoes, which was fresh but tasted artificial in my opinion). I was really surprised of the quality of this place because I usually don't eat fast food, it was great.

Karen who is the shift manager was absolutely disgraceful in her dealings with customers! She looked totally stressed and her attitude towards customers was disgraceful !!! Our group spent just under $200 for our meals and we walked in around 7.30pm. She then comes to our table and tells us, that we need to leave. We then questioned why? And her response was its because you walked in after 7.30pm and you have to take away. She also responded by saying that she would not have served us if it was not a takeaway. We asked her, why are you not telling the other families that were still eating to leave as well and she responded, because they walked in just before 7.30pm! Karen continued with her harsh tone and spoke to us as if we were kids. Our team was made up of professionals who understand consumer rights and the law. Karen definitely has a personality problem and her customer service is absolutely 0/10. I would not recommend this place with someone like Karen working there!!! Zero service and communication skills from Karen! Telling us to leave, while other families were still happily eating was absolutely degrading. This lady seriously needs to get counseling and I am surprised she is a manager with her lack of people and communication skills!! The tables and bathroom were also disgustingly filthy!! Don't call yourself a manager if you cannot manager a store, but most importantly communicate and look after your clients!!! Taking the money and telling us to leave was disgusting!!!

I was impressed with how good the food tastes, the workers were great tonight despite it being busy they had great customer service skills! The manager on duty who I believed their name was Karen, she were lovely and have great customer service skills. The food tasted delicious and overall was a great experience! Keep up the good work!

We are loyal customer here few years. They were really good. Chicken always fresh, crispy skin moisture inside. So disappointed from last month. We got twice problems because chicken wings little bit smelly inside and chicken very dry and getting small. Hope owner keep control your high quality like before. Thank
