Great for kids, especially younger ones. Had an awesome indoor playground, which can keep the kids busy for hours. The rollercoaster wasn't going the day we went. The other attractions were alright, but definitely designed for preschool age kids. Our almost 2 year old loved the tractor train ride.

first time visiting in years and it looks the same. plenty of parking and the workers are nice. the gemologist (forgot her name) was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. pricing is subjective. could do with some refurbishments and the display shelves really should be cleaned (quite dusty) but happy with my purchase and experience here overall.

Visited this place for my daughter’s bday on a weekday. It was pretty deserted and we were the only people for the whole park. Crystal museum was okeish if you like Crystals. Roller coaster was broken and there were no train rides. Couldn’t find any staff to ask for help once we enter the farm. Play center was huge. Daughter loved playing in it. Other than that there were some farm animals to feed. The whole place need some love and attention to attract more people.

Great fun for the kids. Very educational. Stay away from the loaded wedges. Not worth the money. Chicken, Bacon & Avon sandwich was awesome. Mens Bathrooms in kids indoor play area were filthy. Animals looked health and happy. Rollercoaster was out of order and $5 discount applied to kids $35 ticket. Crystal museum pretty cool.

06/05/2023 11:30am Souvenir shop this has an arrangement of jewellery & ornaments from Crystal, a crystal collectors delight.. the craftsmanship of some of the necklaces is a bit tacky. There is also a fun park & museum for the family especially kids which you need to pay for. There is a cafe onsite, average prices. A place to go for gifts.

A souvenir shop with so many precious stones. You have really big ones and small ornaments like earrings and pendants. The shop is quite spacious. As per the seller, the stones are from all parts of the world like Brazil and of course some in NZ. There is a cafe attached to it where you can relax with a cup of coffee and a small dessert. Peacocks are just roaming around the cafe but they do not disturb the people. Really wonderful.

Great place if your kids are into crystals and animals. They also have train , tractor and a chipmunk like area for the kids. Sadly the roller coaster was not running on the day we went. But my kids still enjoyed themselves.

First chance I've had to visit thanks to an Auckland voucher. I have to say I wish I had gone earlier. A must visit for families with young children. The playground is clean, food was unexpectedly good. Animals and feeding the goats was an entertaining experience. The rollercoaster was perfect for my son who is a tall 3 1/2 y/o. Will be back soon.

If could be fun and interesting place, but is not looked after very well. The riders are every hour and for 1 turn, kids got so upset for missing it. The worker who runs it looked so stressed and not happy Some of the slides were very dirty. Crystal museum is really nice and they have lot of nice stuff in the shop, different range of prices. If you are not a BIG fan of crystal, it is not advised

Fantastic family day out with 8 yr old granddaughter, she absolutely loved everything. We bought Ultimate Passes which are great value for money because we could experience every ride etc as many times as we liked. Granddaughter especially enjoyed the huge inside play area, roller coaster and feeding and petting the rabbits. Highly recommend this place for fun, variety and value for money.

Great place for little ones. My son enjoyed to see lovely animals, train and car ride outside. There is a rollercoaster as well. There's cafe inside and outside. Both have same menu. Ordered wrap around $10, good size and tasty. Inside playground was great too. We will come back again.

What a disappointment and embarrassment to West Auckland. As an animal lover, horse rider, and former beef & sheep farmer - I understand it's been a tough wet winter - but that is no excuse. Park was very run down and tired, but worst of all was the condition of the animals. 5 llamas in a very small pen were fighting, biting and chasing eachother and showing signs of stress. Both donkeys had SHOCKING hooves that are well overdue a trim. A pony was visibly lame and in pain. The water troughs in some enclosures were in dire need of a clean. The animals coats were dull, and some of them had eye discharge and looked overall unwell. There were no staff at the small animal barn, so you couldn't go in. But from the outside it was very apparent that the rabbits are in completely unsuitable enclosures, and desperately need a clean. Fences were falling down all through the park, patched up, and were not ideal. Although there was some haynets in enclosures, their location was not being rotated meaning the animals had to stand in knee deep mud to eat. This is not okay. None of these things can be explained away with excuses - they need to be fixed ASAP.

I went here during a weekday with My younger daughter , and my grandson, we walked around looking at the animals we then had a train ride around the park, none of the other outside rides were available, this day, and some are only available on weekends and school holidays so you will need to check for availability rather than be disappointed, in which we were not, because we had so much fun at the indoor playground and every hour one of the assistants came up and started up the inside rides which were awesome as well as the amazing indoor playground, there was so much to do then we took another stroll making our way back to the entrance where we took a long look around the beautiful Crystal shop and down the lift underneath to the museum, The whole place made a really good day out, and i felt it was value for money, the toilets were clean, park, and eating areas tidy and clean and the cafe was well stocked with some yummy looking food, to satisfy anyone, although we did not eat on this occasion, We met the queen of the place Bella the beautiful exquisite Posh Cat, I loved her she was stunningly beautiful and oh she flitted around like a queen, I took so many pictures of the park my grandsons mother was astonished lol after i sent them all to her, this Place has a good relaxed feel and I would recommend anyone who hasnt been here, to visit, I would recommend it more enjoyable for younger kids and adults, as the rides and indoor playground are based 12yrs and under, The crystal shop also has online buying as well as onsite, its a huge beautiful collection, great for gifts of all tastes and desires . Thankyou for your hospitality all the staff here were very friendly and with a smile

Worst experience of mine and my family's life!!!! This place makes Rainbows End look like Disney Land. Shame on you! Run down rotten place with depressed looking staff and neglected looking animals. How is this place still open. Who ever runs this sham should be behind bars.

I was told this would be a great place to visit...Sad animals pranced around for entertainment...spoilt kids pushing in Lines, Earth greedily plundered to sell off precious stone...I'm normally not so gloomy but yup, this was the 1st and last visit for me n my daughter. On the plus side, we got a cute photo with the gorilla statue...🤷🏽‍♀️

Great place for the little ones, farm animals to pet and feed, a "Train" to ride, horse rides, mini Rollercoaster and a few other small rides and a great indoor playground with a cafe. And another nice bigger cafe in a quieter atmosphere too, the crystal mueseum and shop is great too. Kids had a blast only negative is its a shame you can't cuddle or pet the bunnies.

I am so disgusted in this place, it was run down, grotty, misleading from its online website and the animals looked so neglected. I feel sad from this experience and I feel they really need to take a look at how they care for their animals. I never want to bring our children back again, the benches were even broken. I feel like calling animal welfare on you. For 2 kids and 2 adults you charged $65….. I am so sad for this experience. So so sad. It just felt so dirty and down.

An absolutely fantastic day out! We went on a drizzling damp winter day, and still had a fantastic time. I can only imagine how great it would be on a sunny day! We managed to do the train ride, tractor rides, roller-coaster and walk around the farm and dinosaur gully between showers. Then when it was raining we visited the crystal museum, which was so amazing. We loved going down in the elevator and arriving inside the cave and seeing all the beautiful crystals. Then we went to the indoor playground, had multiple rides on the tea cups, carousel and indoor train. We had a nice lunch, and delicious coffee! Then we went back and fed the animals, and finally to the gift shop to buy some beautiful crystals to take home! We also got some sand bags with hidden crystals so we could carry on the fun at home! What a brilliant family day out, and an absolute hidden gem of West Auckland! I also have to say All the staff were so friendly and helpful, in the cafes, the gift shop, and operating the rides! We had the ultimate pass and it was worth every cent. We will definitely be back!

We went on a Friday and there weren't a lot of people so it was a peaceful and relaxed experience. You can purchase your tickets and feed for the animals at the cafe. The animal feed was 50 cents a pack, which is very cheap as compared to other animal feeding experiences we have been to. You can feed all the animals with the feed except the pigs and rabbits. If you have children, they would love the indoor playground! You might also want to go on weekends or public holidays instead as the rides only operate on those days at a half hourly schedule. We enjoyed the crystal museum and shop too. There were dinosaur eggs, bones and some fossils at the museum apart from the crystals. The shop has a wide range of crystals, with both raw and polished ones in various sizes. Definitely worth a visit! :)

We came as a family for a nice day out in the sun. Upon arrival we were greeted by a not so nice gentleman, prior to deciding to come to Crystal Mountain I had heard nothing but the best about the place! There is lack of customer service in the cafe. I actually think that your servers are quite rude and obnoxious. Don’t get me wrong. The place itself is amazing 😍 However, what are you paying for when everything to ride or PlayOn is not available? We couldn’t ride the roller coaster apparently is available during the weekend. We have to wait one whole hour to go on the train there was no one available in the barn to see those animals and inside the playground. There was no access to any of the rides in the park either. This place is absolutely amazing but come on guys you need to work on your customer service!

The grounds could do with a little upkeep but besides that, This is an amazing place for kids , the crystal side is next level just so amazing. Cafe food is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.👍👍👍

The crystal shop is free to enter & there are amazing collections of crystals. You need to pay an entry fee to go into the park for under 5 playgrounds & feeding animals and etc at the other side of the crystal shop. The cafe next to the crystal shop was ok. Lots of local people seemed to come in for coffee & snacks.

A bit pricey for the size but worth the excitement of my kids. Would have been great if everything was in working order like the play area and the lights in the crystal museum walls. Our 4 yr old absolutely loved the carousel, spinning tea cups, tracker ride and mostly the rollercoaster

Very awesome place to visit and absolutely loved the crystal museum and shop. Bought a lovely crystal lamp and a couple of crystal stones.

I only went to the museum and shop which were well done. The museum is about 90 metres underground, reached by lift. Many crystals are amazing in size, shape and colour. I was the first visitor that day and the lights weren't turned on till other visitors arrived which may have added to my experience...

Kids will surely enjoy this place. The train by the entrance takes you to a slow tour around the whole place. You can see pige, donkeys, ponies, peacocks, bunnies, llamas, alpaca, emus, and others . The indoor playground is also fun. The place is overall clean and tidy.

It's a nice place to visit especially for children. Nice and spacious play area and some indoor rides too. Beautiful peacocks roaming around. We booked tickets through bookme and got them for a lesser price as well.

Crystal Mountain has been one of our brunch spots for years. Only last year I discovered Hidden Mountain and the farm. We've been to the farm twice now but never a time where my kids could play safely inside hidden mountain as there's no area for under 5s.

Great for family, especially the kids. At first I thought it was only a themed park, but there are some animals too! My kids loved it so much!🙌🏻
