I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their pet. One star is even too much of a rating, they deserve a flat zero. I was referred here by Park Animal Hospital when I needed an avian vet and my usual Dr. C wasn’t available. They told me that “Dr. Ryan” is also an avian vet. So I called them and I really only had a question about my bird and “Dr. Ryan” answered it to a staff member who called me back, and let me know the answer and that it did not warrant a visit to the vet. I thanked them and kept them in mind for future needs. When I actually did have an avian emergency, they took me right in (charging me $200 just for walking in the door). It would be additional charges for anything else done. I agreed and made my way across town. When I arrived, that’s when they told me that the avian vet wasn’t even there but they could call him. Fine, whatever. I was worried about my bird but they should have disclosed that before I drove across town! They gave me antibiotics and a pain medication for him and told me to bring him back on Wednesday when the doctor was actually in. Fine, something to at least maybe start addressing whatever was going on. When I actually got there on Wednesday, that’s when he actually informed me that he isn’t a doctor and “is just a vet tech, who worked with about 60% birds at his old clinic in Ohio”. That’s BS honestly. Totally misrepresented, I even thought he was a doctor because everyone was calling him that. Either way, he took blood work, which came back with results “just enough out of balance to require further testing but nothing to pin point anything wrong”. It became very obvious that they are only really seeking money. I even had x-rays done to check and make sure his organs aren’t enlarged, and that came back normal and I understand it can be difficult to figure out why a bird could be plucking feathers but there is always another test, for more money & the tests I did consent to always failed to provide any answers or hints. But back to the X-Rays I had done. After I was fed up with the lies, money grabbing and still no answers, I went in and requested copies of all his blood work & x-rays. They only ever provided his blood work. I was told that they would “email” me the X-rays which of course never came through. I was told they could always “resend” them if they don’t show up for whatever reason. Well, they didn’t. I called them a couple days later, requested them, confirmed my email address again (I had provided it when first visiting, confirmed it before she sent the first copy of the X-Rays) and again, for a third time. Still no images or emails from them. So I’m just left to ponder if they actually did any or just charged for it and never provided the agreed upon service. I never saw or was provided any proof they actually did it, aside from the charge for it & their word for it that it was done and the results were normal. Thankfully my bird has made a full recovery but not because of anything Sunridge Animal Hospital has done for him. Frankly with the act of fraud they are committing, I would never trust their opinion or treatments for any animal. It’s all about the cash, and while these are all my opinions, and others may have different experiences, I would highly suggest finding a different vet or just trusting your gut when it tells you to run away from these greedy; unethical, unprofessional and frankly irresponsibly incompetent jokes of veterinary medicine.

I brought my dog here for an emergency appointment. Everyone was very nice except I have never been price gouged so much in my life. The services were overtly very expensive and they kept trying to get me to add more services that were not necessary. I have taken my dogs for emergency appointments to other places and I have never been gouged to this extent. The doctor was OK, she didn’t really say much or guide us in the right direction, she just kept trying to sell us more and more services that had nothing to do with the issue at hand: There are other vet hospitals on the area that are better for fair prices.

I am autistic and the experience I just had is unfortunate. I brought my panther chameleon in for a gravid well check and got quite the surprise at checkout today. Backstory- In May ,I took the same chameleon in for the same type of well check. What's required is a look into her belly via ultrasound/xray to see if her eggs are overdue for a possible induction. Last visit, 75 bucks, this visit 365 bucks. I questioned the cost and then proceeded down a rabbit hole of pass the buck- "The doctor didnt put it in" "This doctor charges this much" "I don't see where she did anything" Anyways , Dr. Ceballos (the owner and a doctor) charges full price and despite knowing the circumstances, refused to drop the price or even speak to me for that matter. So buyer beware, as the cost of the procedure BEFORE you have it done. In fact , don't assume anything, because this vets office isn't going to proactively tell you nor will take accountability. So if your not one to ask questions , go to a different vet. They don't care if you have a disability or not they will expect you to pay even when they aren't forthright with their prices.

My sweet pup was not feeling well and after X-rays and bloodwork, I was asked to retrieve a fecal sample. I did what was requested of which occurred over the weekend and by Monday morning, my dog’s health took a dramatic turn for the worse. I came in right at opening time of which I handed off the sample and signed off on appropriate paperwork to start the process to treat her. Through the process, I was told by the vet that they were taking a sample of the mucus that mysteriously built up that wasn’t even there 36 hours prior to assist in properly treating the matter. A few hours later, I was told that my sweet Cookie couldn’t be saved to live a life of fulfillment and that it was recommended to relieve her of her pain. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do and so I said my tearful goodbye. Once I was able to think clearly, I called the next day requesting for test results from the mucus and fecal samples. I had to call 3 times because no one wanted to call me back. I finally received a call and was told after an additional back and forth conversation that the receptionist threw away the fecal sample because she thought that Cookie wasn’t going to make it and that the vet assumed not to send the mucus sample out because Cookie ultimately didn’t survive. No one asked me what I wanted to do despite paying for the services. This is disheartening and negligent and if this happened to a human, it would be considered malpractice. I’m still waiting for a call back of which hasn’t occurred and it’s been since a week ago. There’s so much more to this story that makes the scenario even worse but it’s just too painful to keep typing. I’m sure on a good day, this facility isn’t all that bad. Unfortunately, my experience proves otherwise and I hate that my Cookie has become a statistic.

Called to inquire if they could provide a second opinion of an ultrasound scan diagnosis for my ill cat. Was told yes they can do an ultrasound scan and an appointment was scheduled for a few hours later. Upon being shown a room, the vet assistant came in and argued with me why I wouldn’t inform her of the results of my cat’s ultrasound scan. I told her that I wanted the Vet to provide me with an objective assessment of the results of the scan. She took my cat in the back and the Vet came in and I had the same argument. The Vet then told me ‘it was incorrect’ that they could do an ultrasound scan. I first needed to pay for a physical exam and blood tests. I didn’t t understand why blood tests were needed to provide a second opinion of an ultrasound scan. I said I wanted my cat back at which time, the Vet shrugged and said, ‘if that’s what you want’. My cat was returned and I left. 2 minutes after leaving, I received a phone call saying that I had to pay for an exam!! Went to another Vet and they did an ultrasound scan no question. Sunridge Vets were content to let a terminally ill cat leave their clinic unless I paid for unnecessary procedures. Unbelievable.

I am always so impressed with the “bedside” manner that my dogs and myself have been treated with since coming here 3yrs ago. I have two dogs, and been bringing my girl in since she was 7wks old, and her son since he wasn’t even born yet! Haha! Every staff member I’ve interacted with has always tolerated my endless questions, overreactions to little things, and my breakdowns in stressful moments. But beyond that, most of them they continue to remember my dogs by name if not by face. We always feel taken care of here. They even get excited when we pull up! Thank you for everything you do Sunridge team!

My family came across Sunridge Animal Hospital under unfortunate circumstances. We were searching for a place to put down our beloved little Lilo, whose health was rapidly declining as she approached 15 years of life. After calling a few places, Sunridge Animal Hospital was the first one that showed genuine compassion for this difficult decision. When we arrived, everyone was so kind and professional. Our family of six was allowed in, and they were able to accommodate even more if needed. They did an exam, reassuring us we were making the best decision possible for our little old lady. Dr. McTear explained the process clearly and empathetically, and once it was done, gave us the space and time we needed to grieve our loss. Thank you Sunridge Animal Hospital for taking care of our little Lilo during her final moments with us. We appreciate that you made one of the hardest days we've had to face a little bit easier.

So we have a Macaw, and this place is one of the few places in the city that has an avian vet. Well for the first time in twenty years we had to take our bird into the vet and honestly they were amazing here. They made us all feel comfortable, even our bird Sammy liked it here. He had to have a growth in his mouth removed and they treated him with the very best of care. If Sammy ever needs anything in the future this is where we are coming :)

I needed an international health certificate to travel with my service dog. My own vet was not able to provide this service so I was really nervous about the 10-day time constraint with a new veterinarian office. Sunridge Animal Hospital was so patient and kind with me. They made the process go smoothly and I can’t thank them enough! They even had the courtesy to call and let me know it had been endorsed by USDA and would be overnighted. I will definitely use them again.

I took my ferret in on a Saturday because something was wrong. Worst decision ever. They ran test... With everything coming back negative. Gave meds and my ferret died lastnight. I hate this place. Please never go here.

This is going to be a long review, in short, I will never take my pets anywhere else, except for this place. I recommend this clinic and will proudly give them a 10/10. This was very hard to write, but I wanted to because Holidays are rough and I think it's important for people to know a good vet clinic. I moved to Nevada in 2015 and tried several different vet clinics for my cat. I finally found this place and every time I came here with my cat, they treated him like gold. He was never afraid of them and we always left with a good experience. The prices are not horrible. I think with anything doctor related, you are expected to pay a good sum, but it is never outrageous. I got a bird about a year ago from Pet Smart (they knew nothing of this breed and they are not very popular.) I got a diamond dove. He was all alone and away from the other birds and was only 20$. I asked questions about the bird and they had no idea where he came from or anything of that nature. They didn't even know what to feed him. My fiance and I felt so bad he was isolated and all alone, we ended up buying him and doing our research as we went. He was happy and flew all over the place and cooed so sweetly. One day, he collapsed out of nowhere off our TV (which was his favorite place to perch). I took the bird to Sunridge Animal Hospital because he was having a seizure. They did everything they could, but due to his size, too much medical performance could lead to death from too much stress on his little body. They gave us medication to see if it would help and for some time, I thought it did. He still had seizures daily, but they were manageable and we would let him hang out. He still ate and enjoyed being around us. Slowly, about a month ago, I saw him declining and I was in denial to put him down (I have never had to make that choice before). On Sunday, 11/26/2023, he was in critical condition. I have never seen such a drastic change in hours. We took him the next day to get a quality of life examination, and unfortunately, he needed to be euthanized. The vet, his name is Mykhailo, gave my fiance and I an honest answer regarding our baby bird and everyone in that entire place was comforting and kind. The environment was warm, regardless of how much emotional chaos my fiance and I felt. We got to hold our little bird one last time after they gave him sleeping medication and the lethal injection and they gave us time to hold and say our goodbyes. Again, I have never had to put a pet down before, but this experience, regardless of how much it still hurts, was beyond my expectations. They told us about options on cremation or taking him back home (we decided on cremation). Everything was included in the price (I know that sounds bad to say, but we hit some brutal financial issues lately and everything was reasonable in price range). As much as I never want to go through this again, I know it may one day happen since we have another pet and I would never go anywhere else again. I recommend this place and will say the service is a 10/10 and all the vets and nurses are passionate and kind. Thank you for all you do. I know it isn't an easy job, but I want the staff to know how truly appreciated they are and how honored we felt to have a truthful and genuine experience.

I had been looking for not just any vet, but one I knew would have nothing but the best in mind for my fur babies. Behold! I found an amazing office with over the top kind hearted workers. Immediately you can tell when you walk into a place where people are happy to work, because they treat you like a friend and not a random customer. Anyone who has a fur baby knows the stress of your baby not feeling well. It's not just stressful for us, animals are smart, they feed off of our emotions! With that being said, it's important for me to know I have a vets office that treats me like family from the second I enter.

Best vet clinic in Las Vegas. Dr. I is very sweet and knowledgeable. I've been seeing sunridge hospital for three years and they treat my dog and I very well. They have fair pricing and they don't try to manipulate you into paying more money. They leave it up to you to make the decision without feeling pressured. I'm so glad I found this place. My dog is happy with their care. Thank you Dr. I you are awesome!

My Yorkie was very sick on Labor Day. Dr. McTear was caring, knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns. She returned my phone promptly and respected my wishes concerning his care. I am so sorry I didn't go to Sunridge Animal Hospital sooner. Also her staff is very friendly and caring. Each time I was given appointment for Tiger, we were given a room within 10 minutes. 💖🐕

Sunrise fleeced me for over $2500 for a bunny in stasis, leaving me me with a still sick bunny a n $2500 poorer. Then they sent a letter saying they refused to treat my bunny, because somehow I made someone "uncomfortable". They ignored my attempt to speak with them, choosing to ignore my call. I have since learned of several complaints of other bunny owners. Do not waste your money or worse, your pets life, dealing with these incompetent, con artists. When they lame attempts to properly treat my bunny were not accepted, I was told by their Vet, that sometimes bunny's just die. That was the most unprofessional statement I've ever heard. It doesn't say much for their confidence in treating a very common and treatable illness.

Excellent staff. They treated the dogs like family. The Dr and assistant were uplifting and knowledgeable about our dogs conditions. They even clipped the nails, and Jasper was very happy with results. One of the amazing things about their office was an Albino Python that lived there. It was yellow and white. I just wanted to hug it. But, maybe it wanted to hug me more!

One of few places I can take my bunny, definitely was a good experience. They were very kind, and seemed to truly care and get vested in his care even though this was my first time there. Busy day, but well run so didn't have to wait too long. Definitely recommend them for your babies.

I'd like to thank the office and especially Dr Micha for their efforts in caring for Roxy. He gave a valiant effort in keeping her safe until we could get back to her again. She stayed for three days and the hospital took excellent care of her.
