Called the office to become a new patient and the receptionist was short and down right rude. I'm STILL on hold after TWENTY FIVE minutes, waiting to speak to her manager. It is like this firm has forgotten, or doesn't care, that they are there to serve their patients, and that the patients are the customer. Absolutely no respect, and clearly no interest in growing their practice. In serious need of new management and a reminder why they are there.

Some of these reviews I find hilarious. Please remember your obgyn also has to deliver babies at random hours on random days. Your appointments may be pushed a little and you may have to wait a bit longer. That being said I am currently a patient of Dr. Torres. He is wonderful. So kind and I always feel comfortable. Also their ultrasound tech is very friendly. By far the nicest obgyn office I have been to.

****Do not go here if you want to have to drive to the office every time you need to get a hold of them. They won’t answer their phones or listen to their voicemail. They claim they listen to them at the end of the day but I called 3 days in a row for an hour and never got a response. They canceled my appointment on Monday 30 minutes before and when I tried to call back, no answer. No call back after my voicemail either. They claim that their phones are messed up… then, do something about it? It’s probably been 6 months that their phones are “messed up”. Finally I decided to change to a different provider because I thought having to drive all the way to their office every time I want to get a hold of them was too much. PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT OBGYN if you want to get anything done. I do not recommend.

The front office staff is horrible. They answer no questions and never pick up the phone, you will be on hold forever. I live in summerlin and go all the way to Henderson for Dr Tyre To Talk to us for 5 minutes about things we already discussed!! She has been no help! Because of them as a whole I have switched OB offices because I just can't with this location! They are horrible!

Dr. Tyre was the worst. I had my last child and she was the doctor that had given me my prenatal care. Her appointments are a whole 3 min when your actually seen. She wanted me to switch hospitals because "she was working at St. Rose all day." I had been scheduled to be induced and while doing all the paperwork I was speaking to somebody else who had similar experiences with this doctor. She ended up not being there before i delivered my baby, which i was okay with. She walked in about 10 min after delivery and said to me "Well you said this hospital was closest to you I told you st rose." I was so exhausted I honestly just wanted her out of my face. She is by far the worst doctor I've had in 3 pregnancies. And I definitely wouldn't recommend seeing her. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Dr, Tyre treats you like a number, doesn't make you feel special at all! My first appointment I was about 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and was not scheduled a ultrasound no pictures to take home like with my son my Dr gave me a 8 weeks , 12 week and 14 week to find out the gender. I am 12 weeks and still no pictures of my baby and I received a phone call from her office to bump my appointment back another week!! Now I have a month to wait again for anything thanks so much Dr Tyre.. I do not recommend any woman to this office expecally this Dr, she's horrible!!!!

I have been a patient since 2012 with Dr. Tyre. She delivered my first baby at St. Rose vaginally in 2013, and my second at St Rose Via c section due to complications in 2017, she's also scheduled to deliver my third soon. I always feel more comfortable with a female doctor, especially with something so intimate as an obgyn. She is very nice, not chatty but neither am I, I don't go to appointments to have a friend lend a listening ear but to see a professional. She is to the point and I'm usually in and out of the office quickly, which to me is a good thing, as I always bring my kids with me. The office has always been nice they love seeing my chubby baby. Wait times are not bad in my opinion. I don't usually write reviews but the reviews here are extremely negative and not reflective of the hard working people that work at green valley obgyn. The doctors are on call almost 24/7 and perform operations such as C-section's that can potentially be life threatening to the patient they are under extreme stress all the time, yet they decide to stay in the field to help us, admirable 😊 I can say I feel totally confident in Dr tyre competency as a surgeon and doctor and that is what matters to me.

Save yourself the aggravation! I could go on and on about how awful this place is but that would take me days to type . In a nutshell, they don't call back with results.. Impossible to get someone over the phone to go over results.. Don't bother leaving a message because they never get back to you. The staff is extremely rude .. And these are the people that we are supposed to trust when it comes to our health.. NO THANK YOU! I don't write reviews but this place is so terrible that I feel obligated to give others a fair warning of their incompetent service.

This place is disorganized. The nurses I spoke to on the phone really nice. But I feel like the Doctors do not take care of their patients. The second time I was there, I called to confirm the day before about my appointment and going there for test results. The day of my appointment, Dr. Tire did not know who I was. When she confirmed who I was, she got my results. It was embarrassing for me to be told some bad news about my fertility test results and make me feel like it was my fault. I never want to feel that horrible again. It's a shame, it's a beautiful facility but wouldn't want to go here again. Please, do not come here, you will feel so uncomfortable and disgusting. I don't think I can recover from this experience. Please save yourself from this horrid place.

Absolutely horrible. I am 19 weeks pregnant and I have tried calling the office probably 20 times over the past two days and have left messages because I have an issue with my blood work and no one answers or returns my calls. I'm also trying to get my medical records sent to a different doctor (the request was made over a week ago) and no one has responded or sent that over. I have to physically go to the office to get what I need done. The delay in care is unacceptable, i would NOT recommend this office.

I’m giving you guys a one star its because you guys make it so difficult to find out result and inconvenience your patients. Just like you guys have jobs we do too. I came up to the dr office to get my shot and still had to wait and instead of giving me my results you wanted me to come back at what ever time y’all thought fit, not what was best for the patient. If was a huge inconvenience for me.

I was told on 3/11/22 that I should hear about a surgery schedule in 2-3 weeks. After waiting 3 weeks, I called and was told Carolina was busy and would call me back when she was done...no call back. I called the next day (a Tues) and was told she only calls about surgeries on Fridays after being given a long list of other things she does. That made it 4 weeks and still no call back. I called again last week and left another message with yet another person and was told she'd put it through as urgent...by that point, I already expected not to hear from her. I also called and left a message on the voice mail for surgery scheduling and included the fact that it's now going on 6 weeks...of course there was no call. I have a condition that causes debilitating pain and I can't get my life back until this is taken care of and it seems like she enjoys fvcking with people's health and lives....or she's under the impression that she's doing us a favor by deciding to do this part of her job. As a final effort, I made an appointment to see the doc even though it's going to cost me money since I'll have to miss work for it. I have to wait until May 2 for that. It's now going on 6 weeks and this is an unacceptable way to treat people. She obviously isn't capable of doing her job....either replace her with someone who actually wants to work or assign the surgery scheduling to someone who's reliable.

I need to start by I love my doctor Silvia, the there are things she can't control, like waiting for Caroline to call you back, which will be NEVER!!! I been coming to this office for 10years, it's wasn't always like this. WON'T answer phones, never calls back. Sounds like bad management. Caroline how do you have a job. But no I will be voicing my option and won't stop til either NEW management, or I will be elsewhere. Sorry SILVIA... 😢

My friend and her mom each had bad experiences with this office! We're sitting here waiting for the doctor after they broke the given appointment. Appearantly very little is done on the computer. Beware they don't make reminder calls and change appointments without notice! They attempt to collect no show fees...why see patients when you can still get paid!?!? Awful and unprofessional office staff. No wonder the waiting room is nearly empty.

This office has become the worst place its like a factory no human compassion, for your own health find a different Dr. This office does not give test results back and when asked why they move past the subject. They do not want to answer questions they want to move on to their next victim.

My mom had a terrible experience at this office. Dr. Sylvia rushed through the appointment and never fully explained what she was doing during the appointment. The front desk personnel were rude and not helpful when my mom asked for clarification on documents she was asked to sign. They also never gave her copies of the documents she was asked to sign, even after my mom asked for them. I strongly suggest avoiding this office and going with another OB/GYN.

Warning, This office is not able to provide a professional level of care and is primarily concerned with their own liability when you are in distress. We had an appointment, but had a non-emergent emergency and were advised to see our OB as soon as possible. When we called to asked to be fit into the schedule as soon as possible, we were told we could not be seen or treated because we were not yet a patient. I informed them that that is why we wanted to be seen, to become a patient and to be treated, but that we needed to be squeezed in. Their level of flexibility and concern bordered on rigid and indifferent. A shocking and disturbing far cry from our doctor in Arizona.

This has been the worst experience of my life dealing with these people. I am a two-time cancer patient who had a biopsy there and they refuse to give me the results unless I come in for an appointment. However my insurance ran out and I’m not in the financial position to pay to see the doctor just for results and find out if I have cancer again or not. They haven’t even sent the results to my primary care Doctor Who initially ordered the biopsy. This is causing me unnecessary stress. How would you feel if your biopsy results were being held hostage?

I chose green valley ob gyn and dr tyre when I found out I was pregnant simply due to the fact that my mom and grandmother have always gone here and it was close to home. I was not disappointed. People always complain about the front office staff but honestly, they are sweet girls. The customers they have to deal with are ridiculous and rude. Dr. Tyre is a wonderful doctor and was very attentive during my pregnancy. Sometimes I had to see one of the nurses for my appointments but that was to be expected, and they are all very nice. I even met Dr. Torres after I had my baby in the hospital, and he's very kind as well. I do recommend this office and Dr. Tyre if you are looking for an OB. I do suggest making morning appointments if possible, as they can get behind and you may have a bit of a wait if you go in the afternoon. When I went in the mornings I was in and out in 15 mins.

Jessica Gdovin, PA-C is wonderful; knowledgeable, takes her time with you, answers all of your questions and is gentle.

Just don’t!!!!!!!!! Don’t even waste your time and money!!!!! This was my first pregnancy with my first child they could literally care less. My son was breached, and they never even told me !!! they would lose all my documents.. after I gave birth She didn’t even care enough to give me a check up. I had to call multiple times to be seen after I gave birth. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t even know if I was cleared I was having pelvic pain and they never even scheduled an ultrasound until I gave multiple calls so I decided to go elsewhere a sorry excuse for an OB/GYN honestly

I have been coming to this office since I was 16. Everyone has always been nice. Now I'm 27 weeks pregnant and Dr Tyre has been a great doctor so far. She remembers things from one appointment to the next (things that wouldn't be in your medical file) and I think that's great. My only issue was with the ultrasound lady she was snippy and rude and wouldn't answer any of my questions at my anatomy scan, and they were simple questions like, "what is that you're looking at?" Given that I don't know what baby stomachs or kidneys would look like. After telling Dr Tyre at my next appointment she went over the anatomy scan with me and apologized. I think they are great! Give them a chance ladies!

This is the first time I've gone to GV OB/Gyn. The front office staff was very friendly. I met with Sylvia Averitt APN and she could not have been nicer. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and she took her time with me. I had several concerns and she addressed and solved each one. I didn't feel rushed. I definitely recommend this center.

Disgusting staff

I had a horrible birth experience. I was in labor going to see my OB Dr. Tyre 5 cm dilated. She examined me during my exam I started bleeding. She told me to go to the hospital and she would see me in a little while. I went straight there where I got anther exam by the labor and delivery nurse (who was amazing) asked if my Dr. Told me what was going on. I told her no, then she told me I had a funneling cervix. I never saw my Dr after leaving her office even though I was told that she was at the hospital a few times during my stay. I ended up pushing for 6 hours and had a vacuum assisted delivery. I spent 4 days in the hospital postpartum with a 4th degree. After being released I called multiple times and left messages to get my post pardon appointment made and never received a call back to get it scheduled. During my time at Green valley obgyn I was alway early for all my appointments, and never missed any. Paid my bills to them before birth and on time. I hope if you are reading this you don’t put your trust in this office.

Clean. But not honorary! The staff behind the scene are not doing their full job description. I leave messages no calls back. I needed records from a year ago never received. Updates on status of anything going there for a year communication was just not there. So 2 stars for the workers my. Doctor was ok she was not fully invested in felt in explaining or something. I left clueless as I came in every time. Best thing they can do is office manager help correct staff mess up’s. Always a disappointment when the office is closed when CPL is needing records I can walk there but nope. Closed and dark lol a mess! O well! Still on a search.

This office is a Malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen! I left a message for the PA regarding issues I was having, was told multiple times from the call center that a medical assistant would call me back. Never happened. Four days later I called and made an appointment, fortunately, I was able to get in that same day, when I got to the office an hour and a half later for my appointment I was told all appointments were cancelled because their systems were down. I rescheduled for the following week. When I logged in to my patient portal when I got home my appointment was scheduled for next month NOT next week. This office is a joke. The providers/assistants clearly do not care about their patients. For your health and sanity I highly recommend finding another OB/GYN.

I didn’t like the way I was treated by the office staff but I let it go. Then I saw the dr and I was still treated badly. What a terrible place.

This office was recommended to me when I had a positive pregnancy test at home by a co worker. I called to schedule a appt right away since I have a history of losing pregnancies early on due to low progesterone. I was told they absolutely will not book me a appt until 4 weeks out even with hearing my history and that the first initial appt is not be with a doc it would be with a MA for my first appt. I seriously don’t understand why they can’t book a OV that I’m willing to pay for to see the doc right away for just a quant/ progesterone level blood draw order. Needless to say I was forced to book the appt a month out and sure enough, I lost the pregnancy! Thanks a lot GV OB/GYN. I now see WHASN in Henderson . They cared for my pregnancy loss and folllowed by quant to 0 with multiple blood draws and will get me right in as soon as I have another positive test.

After Dr. Fleisher left, this place went downhill. I had an appointment for a pap a month ago and looked at the results online, which they received on June 25th. I called them to discuss it and the Triage Nurse told me that I needed to wait for them to review the results. Well as of July 14th I STILL haven't received a phone call from them to discuss my results ( I went to my doctor with the results and she said I needed a BIOPSY) so it shows me they do not care about their patients. A month for results that could determine if I have cancerous cells and/or cysts that could pop? Horrible. I will not ever be returning. There are far better OBs in Vegas that accept medicaid and care about you.

Entire staff was so professional and friendly. Front office gave a great first and second impression. I also really liked Jessica Gdovin PA-C. She takes enough time to put patients at ease and answer questions.

I had to leave 7 messages about an upcoming appointment and never got a call back. I live in another country and was returning for a short period of time, so it was really important I had it figured out prior to my arrival back into the US. I stressed the urgency, still no call back. I literally walked into the officed the day I returned just to speak with someone. The girl at the front desk just shrugged her shoulders. I was told they were just too busy to return phone calls. I've been a patient since 1999. I am done with them. It's unfortunate, because I really like Sylvia Averitt, but I have no tolerance for the lack of communication. After speaking with Dr. Torres' assistant, Carolina and having to reschedule my appointment (so another airfare back to the US), she assured me she would be in touch with me via a secure portal with details and my copay. That was on March 7th. I have yet to hear from anyone.

Great office .Let me move here in my third trimester when nobody would take me as a patient. Way more thorough, caring and respectful than the care I received at UNLV medicine .Dakota is very nice and explained billing. Wait time a little long but I mean what office isnt? My doctor is Dr. Tyre. No problems at all .

referred here from the er for a follow up. I was already stressed with info. I got from the er. Then arriving here made it no better the dr just said your going to need surgery I felt like he was in a rush and didn't answer any question or concerns I had. On top of that at check out I asked for a print out of todays visit records the front desk gave me a print out and immediately left without looking at them when I got home notice that it was not my information. so they gave me another patients medical information.

This was one of the worst office experiences I ever encountered. I scheduled an appt months ago and they call me on the morning of canceling because the doctor didn’t show up. They then schedule me a month later because it was the next available. I had no choice but to take that appt. I also let them know that due to covid and work, it is hard for me to come in so I need to make sure they keep this appt. on the day of I get there at 2 pm right at the time my appointment was supposed to be and the snotty receptionist tells me they cancelled my time because I didn’t show up 15 min early to fill out paperwork. I already told them I can’t come in earlier because of work. Even if I was late, every office gives you a grace period. She then tells me that her next available is next month. Ridiculous! Not only did they waste my time, I had to jump through so many hoops just to get the afternoon off from work only to be told sorry we needed you to come early to sign papers to waste more of your time. Don’t come here!

Have never had a good experience here. I hate going here so much I just signed up for the pill club instead.

Yes sometimes they run behind on appointments. Yes you have to wait. They deliver babies so I understand that they may not be on time. Dr. Torres is fantastic and so is his staff. Camille helped me forever with my insurance to get my genetic testing when no one else would. Jessica is my primary and she is also wonderful. I would highly recommend them for your care especially for delivery.

I just want to say thank you Dr Torres for accepting me at the last minute and being understanding and sweet . And also all the staff you guys are wonderful and thanks once again !

If I could give no stars I would, worse experience I have ever had at OBGYN, unprofessional to a tee, punished me for being 3 mins late, caught in traffic, and made me wait over two hours to get in due to that....after having driven from Bullhead City to get there, horrible treatment...don't get me started on what the doctor did to me, unpleasant and careless hurting me...long story short I didn't even accomplish the procedure I needed after all of it, will never step foot in there and I suggest you run don't walk away.

Believe the reviews! I didn't have any problems with the office staff they were all very friendly. "Doctor" Gdovin however, was EXTREMELY rude to me, yelling at me and telling me there's nothing she can do for me, which was very hurtful when I'm already very vulnerable and have been having bad medical issues. Then when I tried to follow up on one of my original complaints, she told me I didn't pay to talk about that today so we're not going to discuss it, and she walked out. She is by far the worst "doctor" I have ever been to. Don't even waste your time trying to go to this office.

I’ve been a patient there for over 5 years, since the changes in management, the quality of care is no longer there. I had seen Sylvia for my annual, had my mammogram, results came back from STEINBERG RADIOLOGY, that I needed further testing. Sylvia, never informed me, and that was a week after my mammogram. I called the office, and got the run around, she was either not there, or busy. I asked if someone else could look at it and get me an Ultrasound appt, 3 days later ( UNBELIEVABLE) Dr Torres sent the request in , however, no on told me!!! I called on a Friday and was told , “ Oh, Dr Torres called it in. Beyond frustrating, this is my health, and I take being alive very seriously. And here I am a week later , 2 back to back days of calling for my results, and getting the “ I’ll let the medical assistant know you called.” This is beyond poor quality care, unprofessional behavior. This isn’t a 3rd world country, I have insurance, and have to pay for the Radiology from STEINBERG myself as they don’t accept my insurance. I pay for these appointments myself!!! I will be leaving once I get my results. So much for that Oath they took, if you value / care about you health and life, run don’t walk and go elsewhere.

I loved Connie Knapp, went to her for many many many many years and so sad when she retired, but happy for her! Went again another nurse practitioner she was wonderful great service and friendly they’re all wonderful!

I would leave 0 stars right now if I could. I came in APRIL to get labs done which I should’ve had results for in less than a week. I get a call a MONTH later that my labs were “undetectable specimen”and I need to redo them. Just got off the phone with a very unhelpful receptionist stating she wouldn’t be able to get me in until JULY. How are you going to make someone wait that long???? So unprofessional and unaccommodating

Former patient, was a patient there for 10 years. This private practice bought out by valley health system. Everything has changed from policies, scheduling, to practitioners and they’re money hungry and don’t really care about your needs. Find a new Obgyn that truly cares versus the new staff that are pushing new unnecessary procedures on you .

I wish I could give the doctor a 0 star. My mom saw the doctor and the doctor will not take out the bladder sling. My mom is leaking again and she is having pain when she use the bathroom. The doctor name is Torres. The doctor put it in. He should fix and take care of the problem himself and not send her to a specialist. I am very angry at the doctor.

Im so sad to hear these reviews i just found out im pregnant & have a upcoming appointment there in a few days & was only showing my husband how close it is to us & to find out that none of their patients feel confident in there doctor or can’t get results is disheartening I really want to see are baby so im going to get the ultrasound & find a new primary for the duration of my pregnancy thank you guys for being honest

Dr. Torres has been my OB for a while now. He recently delivered my baby and is always nice and available to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend him. The only issue sometimes is the call center to set up appts with this office, but if you leave your next appointment set or if you have someone's extension they will respond quickly and make space for you if needed.

I came to this practice because so many women at my office who had high risk pregnancies saw Dr Tyre. She is an amazing doctor and saw me through my own challenging pregnancy. My labor was extremely difficult and Dr Tyre was everything you could hope your OB-Gyn would be during that process. And now my family has a beautiful and healthy addition! I highly recommend her and plan to stay with her as we do plan to try for another baby. Her office has gone through a LOT of staffing changes which made getting an appt with her frustrating. Also, the phone system was changed twice in the 2 years that I’ve been there and that also made it VERY difficult at times to get an appt or have someone call you back. During my appts, once I was pregnant, I shared my feedback. The staff who have stayed/joined the team are helpful, patient, apologetic, and aware of the many changes that have affected their office/customer service. This summer year there was an office renovation, too! Dr Tyre, her MA Jazmin and Amber in referrals are amazing. Angie in prescriptions has helped me too. Just know that it can be challenging to get a call back/an appt since they are so busy.

I’ve been a patient for more than 16 years. There service in the last year is just unacceptable. They don’t answer phone calls, they don’t call you with test results, they constantly mess up appointments, they don’t even send the right prescription to the pharmacy. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Tyre is the best. She stayed with me the whole time when I delivered my daughter 24 years ago. And no my Asians I still go to her. She is very dedicated to her profession. Couldn't not have had asked for more than her. She's so damn good at what she does.

No one answered the phone. Was on hold for a good 15 min and the tried different extensions without luck. Excisting patient... Won't be back.

After reading the rest of these comments I now realize I will never get ahold of Carolina I see she does the same thing to everyone...never returns calls. I have been told by collection agency i owe 230.00 from a surgery of two years ago. I just want some back up bills to prove I've paid everything to date but after numerous phone calls and according to Mary and Myra who have sent numerous text messages to someone named Carolina still no reply. I've got plenty of backup now so Sue me. Please do not go to this place it's a nightmare.

I have had multiple issues with this office. I first went in for my annual and I had a pap done. To my surprise I received a bill for the lab work that should have been covered under my insurance. The problem was the office screwed up and sent my lab work to a company outside my network. Now I am stuck with a 200 dollar bill that should have been covered if they had done their job right and they wont take any accountability for it. This is on top of the fact that I have had many issues making and canceling appointments because they don't answer the phone or call you back.

Twice I went in for a culture and told them NO STD TEST. Twice they charged me $500 for an STD test. Livid!

Front desk has the worst personal service of any where I have ever been to, including restaurants and gas stations. I don't understand why it seems that everyone I have interacted with in the last few says uses a condescending tone of voice. And I also feel like I'm being a bother by inquiring about MY prescriptions. Short, irritated words used by someone who's name I think was Camile in the front desk. With all this said, every interaction I've had with Jessica Gdovin has been welcoming and lovely. She makes you feel safe and understood. However, it's nearly impossible to get the bad taste of the front desk out of your mouth.

I just left this place and was not seen because I didn't arrive 15 mins early to fill out the paper work. I was on time but not early. If I was never going to be seen why have me sit for 10mins to fill out papers and say you can come back in two weeks after I had already waited for a month to be seen. The thing is they already had several ppl waiting so I'm I could have been seen today. No worries I'll go somewhere else thats more friendlier. I should have looked at the reviews before making the appointment it seems like this is not a good doctor's office.

I have no idea why there is poor ratings. They call me with results, my Doctor sits down because she cares and takes the time to talk to me and see if I have any questions. The office is nice, clean, the nurses are chipper and sweet. This will be my second visit so far. I will keep you posted.

Dr. Jessica Gdovin is amazing. She's very warm & caring. She spends time with her patience and takes proactive approach to your health and well-being. She listens carefully & her active listening skills are fantastic. Staff always greets you with a smile and barely let's you sit down before setting you up in a room. I would recommend this office, see it for yourself!!!

I grabbed a 7:30 appt beecause I have had nothing but horrible experiences with my last 3 OB's but no more!!! I walked out of my appt. today beaming, feeling reassured, and like I spend my time with an old friend. My new doctor is everything the medical field has been lacking lately. Her name is Kikelomo Omotoso and she might be the only medical professional with any bedside manner in this town. She was exactly what I needed, friendly, knowledgeable, sympathetic, and just down right jubilant. I finished my appt. with a request to keep her and she reassured me she would be my new doctor and I couldn't be happier .Way to go Green Valley Obgyn you got a diamond gem in this woman!!

Kiki was great. Shes an APN. I asked the front office what that means and she had no idea. Instead of saying 'Im not sure but I'll find out for you'. Wow. Always a long wait here. I was 15 min early and wasnt given paperwork til appt time. They know whose coming and who needs to fill out forms and they should be prepared. I finally got in 45 mins later. Yes I'm looking for a different place where I dont feel like I'm being run thru like cattle and staff is more professional.
