I wanted to venture towards this side of town (I live in the far Northwest part of Las Vegas) because it's been a few since I've tried a different restaurant in Henderson; not to mention, I had an urge to play at a different Station property compare to the one close to my house. Therefore, my wife and I decided to eat at this restaurant on 11 Nov 2023 because of the aforementioned, and because we wanted to celebrate our long tenure serving in the greatest military in the world. I utilized the online reservation system on the same day of the reservation, and it was seamless (I even got the time I wanted). We arrived significantly earlier than our reservation time because we left the house anticipating traffic and such - we ended up not confronting any traffic. Needless to say, the restaurant accommodated us and allowed us to get seated within 8 minutes of arrival. We were seated in a booth, which was appreciated because of the back pain we have to deal with while sitting on regular chairs. I immediately noticed the décor in this restaurant and how rustic it looks (in a good way; not the "old, requires immediate updating" concept). The restaurant lighting and music made the experience very comfortable. The menu items seem to be similar with all the Station property steakhouses, which made it easier for us to decide what we wanted to order. We ended up ordering the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp, Grass-Fed Filet Mignon, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Green Beans Amandine, Mashed Yams, and Shishito Peppers. The fried chicken was a new concept for us because normally, I'm not a fan of ordering anything other than steak, at a steakhouse - but I'm glad we did! We ordered the steak and chicken because we were going to split it in half so we both can sample each entrée. The steak wasn't seasoned as what I've experienced at other steakhouses in the Las Vegas-Henderson-Summerlin area (definitely was under seasoned). I'm not saying the steak was awful by any means, but I expect a perfectly-seasoned steak at any 3 or 4 dollar sign steakhouses. The star performers of the night were definitely the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp and Shishito Peppers. Everything else we ordered was good, which made the night very pleasant. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was very reasonable and adequate. Of noteworthy significance, my Old Fashioned was made to perfection and the overall service (from the time we entered the restaurant, to when we departed), was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors!

Stopped by on a Tuesday night because I wanted to try something new and I'm hitting all the Steakhouse's in Vegas. We noticed the great reviews that we decided to dine here and there were available reservations. We arrived on time and was quickly seated. The hostess was nice. Bus server stopped by, poured water and gave us a basket of bread. Unfortunately, the bread was old and you could tell. We ordered an appetizer and dinner and patiently waited. Food: Salmon Blackened Filet Mignon Bacon Wrapped Shrimp The bacon wrapped shrimp was the highlight. It tasted so good. But, that was it. The steak lacked flavor but it had a good char. The server walked by and asked if I wanted steak sauce and I said no that I already asked for salt & pepper. Lastly the Salmon was not good in my opinion. I squeezed lemon but it still did not taste good. Perhaps adding butter or capers or something to compliment the Salmon. Overall, I would not return.

Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse located in Sunset Station is simply a wonderful experience. Reception staff and food and worth the visit

Sonoma Cellar Steak House in Henderson Nv is now a favorite ! Amazing selection and great service. We had the Filet Mignon, Roasted Chicken, pan seared scallops with sides of creamed baked corn and twice banked potatoes. The wine selection is amazing as well and we finished with Flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and fresh berries. A lively and beautiful decor. Upscale There chopped Salad is delicious and they offer a variety of amazing soups, hard to decide but we had the French onion. A must dine if in Henderson NV

It was very romantic and has a candle light setting. I ordered a ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. All of the sides were delicious. The chocolate cake on the desert menu is wonderful. The server was very pleasant and welcoming! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back.

1st off our server Huey was AWESOME very helpful everything he recommended was delicious and he was SUPER attentive 5 STAR SERVICE. It's been a LONG LONG time since I've had Lobster that good and with the side of scallops I felt like a King!! My wife couldn't get enough of her scallops either, the mac and cheese was excellent as well even the bread was DELICIOUS!! 5 Solid stars on food as well. MOST DEFINITELY will be back.Thank you Huey see you next month!!!

Not good for birthdays. When I booked my reservation, I wrote that it was my birthday. Upon check-in, no one acknowledged it, so I told my server, Juan, that it was my birthday, and he said, "Oh, okay." So, I paid my $310 bill for two and left. Food was good though, don't get me wrong, but I felt uncelebrated. I didn't need anything free, but you would think between the staff, server, and manager that at least one person would recognize the birthday. :-/

This place has very good food, the service is great! I can say that this is one of the best restaurants I've been to when it comes to the food! I will tell anyone to try this place out. 10/10 The only issue was that the oysters were very small but still good!

Fantastic dinner spot! Not overly priced as seen in the description. Compared to other off the strip steakhouses, I really thought it was very reasonable. Service was phenomenal, from our hostess to our waiter Brian, everyone was friendly!

Lovely steak house with a beautiful atmosphere, dimly lit, with private seating that can be reserved ahead of time for bigger parties. The food is great and they have gluten free options. The service never falters. Overall very enjoyable experience.

This was my 1st and probably last time eating at this restaurant. The service was great, and the food was okay. The ambiance is pretty nice, and even though I didn't try the bar, it seems really nice, so I may give it a shot next time. Happy traveling!

The ambiance was great and the people were very friendly. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. I and my wife really enjoyed Sonoma steakhouse which offered high-class and high-quality food at reasonable prices. Juan, our waiter, was very kind and friendly. We are very impressed as he showed keen interest in us and our order. He even brought a small cake to celebrate my birthday in advance, thanks Juan! New york strip bone in was the perfect flavor/tenderness mix. Mac n cheese with aged cheddar was addictive. Staff will look at you funny if you show up alone and don't drink anything besides water tho. Creme brulee was like a 4/10, wouldn't recommend.

We sat in the bar and that was great for us, very comfortable. We shared a wedge salad, porterhouse with blue cheese fondue, mac and cheese, broccoli, and a potatoe thing. Every thing was fabulous, plenty to share. The highlight for my fiance was the bread basket, a nice selection of very good breads. The service was excellent and easy going, considering she was slammed on Valentines day she nailed it. Looking forward to going back on a non holiday!

We have been coming back even after moving farther away soley due to a great server Huey! He is such a fun personable amazing server and makes your experience 10x better. Definitely recommend requesting him. The food is absolutely amazing. We come for every anniversary, bday etc!

This is a fantastic Steakhouse I had one of the most tender filet steaks I have ever had and the Bread Basket is to die for it's some of the best breads you will ever have. The French onion soup was a tad on the salty side but quite delicious in spite of that. They have a nice wine selection here and I like that all of them are not over 60 or $70 you can actually find some that are reasonable. They have some excellent Booth seating here and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very ritzy with white tablecloths and Broad comfortable chairs.

Very tender porter house steak. They have an amazing red wine reduction sauce that must be ordered in advance because it takes time to make it fresh. It's awesome. Pretty good baked potato and bacon wrapped shrimp. This place isn't cheap about 70 a steak but very good.

Our server Poom & Huey were absolutely fabulous they really know how to work a room. They are so natural with connection and enhance our experience this restaurant is very lucky to have them. My drink Tony’s Tropical Martini is delicious that’s a 5 star drink. The garlic cilantro sauce and steak are so good I had to write this review before I finished my food lol. I got the bone in ribeye it was perfect. Lobster tail was very good. Drank 2 old fashions they were made extra strong. Very good service. We will be coming back.

Great steakhouse. Food was exceptional. I had the king crab legs. They were very large and cut in half. First time I have ever been full eating crab 🦀 legs. The bread was warm and very good. The sides were excellent. And above all the service was 5 Diamond. Highly recommended

Pretty disappointed. I was looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate a great day at work. Made a reservation for 715, we arrived on time. Seated fairly quickly. Then waited over 15 mins for a single person to acknowledge us, take our drink order, or anything. Someone dropped off bread that we didn't touch, because we were waiting on anybody to simply take a drink order. Ended up walking out and drove over to outback Steakhouse instead. Much better experience there!!!

Service was super slow. Ordered mushrooms to compliment my steak; over cooked. Brussel sprouts were also not good. Steak and lobster tail were ok. In all, spent 180 for two people (no alcohol) for an "okay" meal. Won't be back.

Lovely environment, great service and tasty food! Great place to sit and have a conversation while enjoying an excellent meal. Can be a bit pricey, but well worth it. You can get a better deal if you have players card at the Station Casinos and have points or coupons on them.

This restaurant is top-notch, it's a wonderful place to take your loved one too however the steak that we order (bone in ribeye) was not very tender and it was a little overcooked the flavors of the steak was quite tasty we did order the steak medium I give this restaurant a 4-star because of service and decor.

You can cut the steak with a freakin fork!! So bomb! We had amazing cocktails and dessert. This place is a must go!

Entry: Located in Sunset Station Casino near the back to the right of their very popular Oyster Bar. We are generally seated exactly at or just a minute or two after our reservation time. We've been here many times so this review is a mixture of all of our visits. Atmosphere: The ambience at Sonoma Cellar is calming. Not too loud and the lighting is perfect for a steakhouse. Service: Service is generally a 5 star experience. We've yet to be disappointed in our waiter/waitress and the bus/drink staff are equally impeccable. Food & Drink: Their food is always top notch! The salmon is nearly always cooked to perfection. Their steaks are a very decent cut and cooked properly to order. I think maybe only once mine came out a little overdone and they offered to recook it but it wasn't too bad. The creamy spinach is delicious. The only better I've ever had was as STK. The grilled asparagus is perfectly cooked. All of the sides you can order are generally above par for this price point. The roasted chicken meal is also a great option. Their lobster is delicious and decently priced. You really can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu! Overall: Definitely recommend. Sonoma Cellar is a great place to visit for locals and tourists if you're looking for an off-strip experience.

Solid steak and professional service, however, there is not much that makes this steakhouse stand out from the brunch. It is the same supplier that supplies the steakhouses at all the stations properties, however, prices are higher. Nothing was particularly sub par at this location, but nothing was over the top either. Pricey for what is offered. Bone in Ribeye runs close to $50 and sides run around $8 and up. Easy $100 dollar meal when you can find the same thing all throughout Vegas for $50-$200 a person.

Not to good if you are a different shade of color you better be prepared to be treated differently. Us Texans make everyone feel at home and we don't make a difference and our food is great 👍!!!!

My husband treated me to this lovely restaurant for my Birthday dinner this evening on 9/19/20 @6pm. Everything about the meal was delicious, and service top notch until we received the bill, we were SHOCKED to find our 2 glasses of house Cabernets were $25 each! We have NEVER paid that much for a house wine, our waiter should have told us! I really should have said something but didn’t wish to embarrass my husband. I am so bothered by this, that I would not consider going back. This has taught us a huge lesson to ASK for a price list!!

I've passed by this restaurant so many times and never gave it a second thought. Last night was the first time I dined there along with the special young women's of my life during the pandemic I was a little hesitant but I took a chance and to my surprised the food was to die for, the clam chowder, oysters, lobsters, steaks, spinach, bake potatoes, and the BREAD, and the BREAD were wo delicious, just delicious. EVERYTHING WERE PERFECT. Please check this place before you hit the casino floor. I love it and I'm sure you will too.. And that's my truth! Loop

Decided to try Sonoma Cellar for date night. The restaurant is beautiful inside; very welcoming and comfortable. Servers were very attentive and had recommendations when asked. We started with the wedge salad and lobster bisque. The salad had a little too much dressing, but other than that both were very good. We finished the meal with scallops and crab which were both delicious. I would recommend this for a romantic evening with your significant other.
