    I stayed at this hotel today for a birthday party. The staff was extremely rude. They charged us two hundred dollars because they said that we made a disturbance to the rest of the hotel. They tried to say that somebody came knocking on our door.Even though we were awake all night and nobody came.Not just that they also refused to show us the contract we signed and refused to give our money back. The manger was not what a manger should be to there visitors who come. She was pointing fingers and telling us that she was going to call the cops because she said that we did not have enough seat belts. She did not even know what our car looked like. She followed us around the whole hotel and made a big scene by the front desk. I was very disgusted by her and disappointed. therefore I would rate it a 0.1. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOUR NOT READY TO HAVE TO PAY SIX HUNDRED OR MORE DOLLARS FOR NOTHING.

    Do NOT STAY HERE! Long story short, they require a $200 CASH deposit that’s suppose to be for locals but tried to make me pay one when I live over 40 mi away. Refused to give my money back after telling me their policy. Heard from several friends and family they have also ripped them off and kept money. Can’t do business like this when reviews are public. Steer clear from this hotel, drive across bridge to Indiana. Corporate won’t do anything either. I have a feeling something sketchy is going on with the manager asking for cash deposits.

    Overall this is a great Hotel. I stay there monthly for business and do not book anywhere else. The rooms are nice and very well maintained. The staff there is friendly and always willing to help with whatever you need. Its just over the bridge and very convenient for my work travels. I highly recommend this location and make sure you sign up for the rewards. Huge bonus.

    Incredible stay. Room was clean right down to the cleanliness of the whirlpool tub! Had no fear of soaking in this gem... the staff was incredible. Accommodated last minute need for another night without any hesitation! Gave us incredible recommendations for resturaunts near by as we weren't familiar with the area. The pool was cute and peaceful...will swim for sure next stay. I am really impressed with this small town quaint hotel. Family atmosphere and quiet. Will be back for sure!!!! Update- we have stayed numerous times...our home away from home! I am absolutely in love with this hotel and the incredible "family" that runs it!

    The Henderson Holiday Inn is great. The rooms were clean and the staff is phenomenal. I lost my credit cards in the hallway and the general manager Kim went out of her way to get them back to me.

    The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast needs a little help. The eggs and sausage were barely warm at 08:15. I can always eat some where else.

    The staff worked hard to meet all of our expectations, to make my hotel experience, welcoming and me feel at home. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The pool is wonderful too! The breakfast was hot and was so good. Definitely stop in or reserve a room. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere.

    I had some reservations/concerns reserving a room here, due to several/many reviews I read online, so I wasn't 100% sure what to expect upon arrival. The check in went very well as the 2 ladies there were very nice and helpful. The room & bathroom were both nicely updated and exceeded our expectations. My wife loved that the bathroom was actually a separate room from the sleeping area and also that it has a tub. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel in a long time, everything I tried was great and the lady in charge of breakfast was excellent ! I visit Henderson several times a year and can not eat the breakfast at the other hotels we have stayed at. I continually try, but usually have to throw it away, disappointed. The hotel is located around many good food opportunities, but you must visit Hometown Roots in downtown Henderson. We have been there twice and my wife says they were the best meals that she has had at a restaurant in forever, which was nice since we tend to make a lot of bad restaurant choices. The price was higher than surrounding hotels, but we will still consider staying here each time we visit Henderson. THANK YOU Holiday Inn Express Henderson for a great stay, we truly appreciated it ! p.s. there was 1 small item that I won't post here but will discuss with those in charge if they want to contact me ?

    Booked for this Christmas Eve through Priceline. Upon arrival was told that there was a $200 CASH ONLY deposit, not disclosed through Priceline. I offered the deposit through a card hold, and even offered to leave my entire card with my file overnight. BUT, was told to head across the street to the ATM. HUGE RED FLAG! Have stayed at various IHG hotels in this area, including Evansville IN, Madisonville KY, Hopkinsville KY, and Paducah KY and have NEVER been asked specifically for such an amount and in cash only. The manager (not on property) was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to at any hotel. She said she would make sure I didn’t get my money back from Priceline, and she did. All because I refused to give someone I don’t know from a can of paint $200 in cash. As a truck driver of 20 years, I can assure you this isn’t a common practice across IHG hotels or any hotel for that matter. Please don’t do it. Do your research on this hotel before booking. Had I read the reviews first I would’ve stayed far away. I’d rather be out $166 at Christmas than $366. And BTW, Choice Hotels has a Comfort Inn adjacent to this hotel that isn’t nearly as expensive, is just as nice, and they don’t require any type of deposit, cash or card. Did I mention that their manager is super friendly?! I highly recommend them! Thanks Choice for being everything this Holiday Inn isn’t. Merry Christmas!

    Due to booking mistake on my part that I tried correcting immediately ( within 15 minutes ) they would not “change” their pilicy and it cost me $1600 and never even spent one night there. They say they gotta follow the rules but if the truth be known I am positive they have “changed” the rules to make an accomodation. Think about that - $1600 they made and most likely rented them rooms double dipping. I had plans to spend the next few months staying because I will be working at the new papermachine in Henderson. I am now staying at the Hilton in Evansville

    Watch your bill. This location charge my card for two unauthorized charges for over $147 for nights I did not stay. I contacted the management, they admitted it was their mistake, credited the charge, then waited a few days and charged again. I am currently working with credit card company to get this undue charge off my card. I no longer trust this motel.

    Really need zero to be an option. Kim the manager is one of the rudest managers I have ever ran into. She also claims to be the owner. Yelled and dismissed the employee that’s only been here a month in front of me, employee said he would walk, she said ok…. Words don’t explain!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

    Staff didn't know some of the perks when staying there, and checkout policy was different than any other IHG hotel I've stayed at. Here you have to give notice the night before if you have to check out early, I lost a day's work because of this.
