    UPDATE: NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM THIS PLACE!! This is our 4th leaked from neighboring apartments! The latest one made mold and mushrooms grow next to the heat furnace/burner. I have called numerous times and went inside the office and they stated someone will come fix it but never do. It has been over 3 months and I’ve been breathing in mold which is making me sick. I plan on filing a lawsuit. My lease is over in 3 months and I am beyond excited to leave. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND RUN FAST!!!!!!!!! This place is a complete dump. I WOULD RATHER BE HOMELESS THAN LIVE HERE. The management is terrible and they change out every so often, which should be an alarm to anyone. The maintenance takes forever to fix anything. The apartment above me had a water leak, and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. The apartment beside me also had a water leak, guess how long it took for them to fix the big hole they left in my wall? Yes, 6 months. The AC always stops working every month. They turn off the water for “maintenance for another unit” everyday. Every month they will find a reason to slap an excessive charge fee on your rent and take forever to even take it off, so now you have to deal with a late fee. The office never answers the phones, so it’s best if you just go inside yourself. How convenient if you have to work. I just wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. I mean ANYONE. Save your money and just move somewhere else.

    How is my current experience at the 1070 Main? Absolutely horrible. I have lived a lot of places in my 27 years and this is easily the worst place. The management is trash, maintenance is terrible, the upkeep of the property is awful. The first few months were fine, I didn’t love it but it was wasn’t the worst. Around June (I moved in December) my whole outlook on this place changed. You can submit a work order and nothing will get done. My kitchen sink has leaked since the day I moved in. I’ve been told it isn’t “bad” enough for them to worry about fixing. My HVAC system didn’t work for almost a month. It took reaching out to a lawyer for any type of response. They had a 3rd party vendor come in and fix piping issues, those contractors ripped up my floors, left holes in our walls. It has been 2 months, I have emailed, called and went down to the office and NOTHING has been done about it. There used to be decent people that worked in the office but now there is just Mike and he is just here for a paycheck. He’s a joke. Doesn’t do anything. Last time I called he answered and I just hung up because why waste my time telling him something when he won’t do anything. There are 3 open apartments in my building and they have been empty for almost 7 weeks. I hope people read these reviews and save their money.

    **11/16/23 UPDATE: My apartment has flooded a third time. Maintenance responded immediately, however, I am still so disappointed with office staff. Not once have they called, emailed, or came by to check on their residents. They keep entering my home without my knowledge. I really just feel like another issue to them, doesn't even feel like home... Unfortunately, this is by far the worst place I have ever lived. The property is now under new management, again, and trying to infiltrate unnecessary changes without fixing existing problems. The staff works at their own pace, which includes maintenance emergencies (my apartment has flooded twice since moving in December) and just the basics of having the unit ready when I signed the lease (no keys, no mail keys, leaking sink, faulty electrics). These guys should reconsider priorities, maybe consider reading the lease they are giving their residents. They pick and choose which of those clauses they want to follow. It changes with staff and property management and has allowed an excess of noise at inappropriate hours. You will see emergency vehicles on the premises nearly everyday. Bugs and trash are and have been a huge issue. The compactor is, more often than not, broken and with trash piling up to the sidewalk. This attracts a lot of flies, gnats, and roaches (don’t forget the spider/brown recluse infestation) to the area and units. This is not to mention the heaps and bags of trash, sheetrock, and food that are left lying around outside folks’ units. You could pay for trash pickup, but it’s a third party and those guys don’t always come (the fees now are kinda ridiculous considering the conditions). Mold problems from the moisture buildup, mainly affecting the wall with "outdated pipes". Staff said nothing could be done until actual spores were present. Maintenance or third-party contractors showed up without my knowledge, not sure what they did but in about three months the mold re-spored. Management will leave a message under this review asking me to contact them regarding my concerns, and I have several times before. I used to email, call, and go to the office to voice my concerns and ask for assistance. One staff member in particular would get an attitude, others claimed the “email is broken” and not receiving any of my [documented] issues, and thus leaving maintenance requests incomplete for months. I am not doing so anymore, and management should be ashamed at how they treat and communicate with residents. I thought I would at least wait until my lease is up to leave a review and maybe even change my opinion, but my time here has been such a loss and truly have never experienced this level of atrocity in a living situation. I cannot wait to be done here.

    This place isnt even close to how they say they are. This place before was terrible and when we moved out it felt like we had mold poisoning. We lived in Apartment 802 and As a 7th grader now, a 9th grader I've had countless nosrbleeds (several per day), There was BLACK MOLD in our storage shed and it was seeping in through the cracks of our sliding glass doors. We have had snakes, cats, and other dangerous animals into our household.(because the sliding glass doors couldnt lock even with the little key and the lock) Keep in mind my family is insanely allergic to cats, dogs, mice, birds, roaches, mold, pollen, and other various allergens. I have missed many days of school because of sickness from mold and nosebleeds. We are a very healthy family with a mainly vegetable diet with proteins and carbs mixed in. When we first moved in to 802, the people who moved our fridge in broke and cut the lenolium. AND after many countless complaints about several things we still at our lease end, havent had anything fixed. Work orders gone ignored, mold problems got worse, and I had started to get allergy shots due to the pain and problems of the apartment. I have never been this mad before, we completely evacuated after our ceiling came crashing in from a pipe burst in my moms bathroom next to her bedroom with a 5 year old autistic child. My brother missed some school too, but when he lived with his stepdad he never got sick enough to stay home from school because he didnt have deadly poison seeping in waiting to kill us. I know this complaint is very wordy but its worth the read if you are planning to live in 1070 west main, in Hendersonville.

    This place is a joke. I went down to the office to request a copy of my lease as I needed proof of address. I was told they do not have copies of the lease and there was no way for them to get a copy. I looked online and by law landlords need to be able to provide tenants with a copy of their lease when asked. I called and spoke with Mike and when I told him this information he thought it was appropriate to get rude and disrespectful towards me. My lease is up in 5 weeks and I cannot wait to move. This place is a dump and the people who work here are so lazy. Maybe hire some maintenance guys who don’t smoke weed all the time and actually get stuff done. Save your money. People keep moving out and they can’t fill the empty apartments. They are way overpriced for what you get. Not worth it at all

    Save your money!!! This place is so trashy. They want $1,800 a month for the worst service ever!! Office people are only there for a paycheck. Every time I go in there is new people working there. There is so many empty apartments. The grass gets mowed maybe once every 5 weeks. I pay for valet trash service (mandatory) and my trash hardly ever gets picked up. It smells so bad from all the weed smokers. They say they do background checks but nobody wants to live here so they just allow anyone to move in. Maintenance is the biggest joke of all. I have been told the problems in my apartment aren’t bad enough to fix. WHAT?! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

    I've lived here since 2005. I absolutely love our complex, my apartment, and the family of employees who provide amazing support day after day. Shelli, Mike, and Khadija are our office staff. They are so kind. They treat me as a friend, not just an apartment number. In the 18 years of calling 1070Main my home, I have had nothing but an exceptional housing experience. Over those years I've had many opportunities to lean on the office staff, the maintenance team, and the contractors, (for pest control and renovations). I cannot remember even one unfavorable experience. Marlin and Devin are the Maintenance Manager and team member I've worked with the most. They're both top-notch! They respond quickly and have resolved my needs to perfection. I've been very blessed with my neighbors. I've only had one neighbor in 18 years who was not respectful of the rest of us. The complex is beautiful, safe, and offers many amenities like fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, washers & dryers, assigned parking (if you choose it), lots of parking, pools (2), a pet park, a recreation area, and so much more!! If you're looking for a new home, come join our family!!

    This 5 star rating is for Devin! So glad he is back. He is always courteous and gets our issues fixed quick. Put in a work order saturday night and he was at the door Monday at 9 to resolve the issue
