DO
NOT
BUY
CARPET
INSTALLATION
FROM
THESE
PEOPLE!
The
first
installer
walked
out
on
the
job.
It
took
them
most
of
the
day
to
find
a
replacement.
We
paid
to
have
furniture
moved.
We
ended
up
moving
2/3
of
it
ourselves.
What
remained,
the
installers
refused
to
remove.
At
first,
they
acted
like
they
didn't
speak
English
so
I
translated
what
we
were
asking
via
Google,
printed
it
and
gave
it
to
them.
They
read
it
and
ignored
it.
When
asked:
"Why?",
the
just
shrugged.
The
installer’s
office
said
you
could
stretch
the
carpet
with
the
furniture
on
top
of
it
and
just
slid
the
furniture
aside
(and
not
back
by
the
way).
At
no
time
did
they
use
a
real
carpet
stretcher
--
just
a
knee
kick.
(Below
is
a
picture
of
one
of
three
seams
that
are
already
cresting
or
buckling
within
a
day
of
install.)
We
were
told
that
they
would
protect
our
new
hardwood
floors.
They
did
not.
We
were
told
that
they
would
replace
all
tack
strip.
They
did
not.
When
they
don't
deliver,
you
have
to
call
an
800
call
center.
They
have
to
call
the
Installer
Shop.
The
Installer
Shop
has
to
call
the
installers.
You
get
it!
This
is
how
the
buck
is
passed.
We
built
and/or
remodeled
4
homes
and
have
never
seen
such
apathy
from
a
company
nor
tradesmen!
The
worst
experience
we
have
had
by
far!
UPDATE:
Regarding
the
"Response
from
owner",
just
their
general
800
customer
service
number.
Called
and
had
to
go
through
a
routing
system
and
was
told
it
would
be
a
15
minute
wait
to
speak
to
someone
in
the
general
call
center.
Waited
40
minutes
to
speak
with
the
Store
Manager
but
eventually
gave
up.
The
service
center
says
the
subcontractor
has
to
fix
it,
but
the
subcontractor
is
refusing
Lowe’s
request
to
fix
it.
In
between.
Contract
is
with
Lowe’s.
Waiting
to
see
if
they
step
up!
