What a sad place this was to visit :( I’m shocked this place is still legally open. I have made numerous formal complaints after my visit to try and be a voice for the poor state these living things are being kept in. The reptiles had no water or food, their water bowls were bone dry! Their enclosures had nothing but newspapers and some old wood (if that) where is the greenery? The birds were all very sad, the ones at the front were lucky to have a bit of seed and water, no toys or even branches to sit on. Some of the bits outside were clearly distressed and flying back and forth, they had no greenery or fresh water. The wombat enclosure had a sign that looked 10 years old saying under construction, why was the wombat left in there? Again no greenery or fresh water. The place is so run down with piles of old rubbish just laying around the grounds, my children we’re constantly asking where to walk because the animal enclosures are weaved in with unkept gardens and half fenced off areas with piles of old metal/cars/rubbish. The animals all looked so sad and depressed. This place isn’t spending money on caring for the creatures they choose to enclose and make money from. So sad DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

"Best place ever" was the remark my 7 year old nephew gave as he held a small docile non venomous snake named Mango. We kept going back to hold Bobtail lizards and Mango. Great guides. Crocodiles. BBQ area. Seating.

The snake & lizard experience was very cool but was really sad seeing the tiny enclosures with artificial grass for some of the snakes and the birds outside looked very distressed (the poor owls were flying into the cage mesh trying to get out). The lone eagle which has a 2.5m wing span was in a small enclosure. The crocodiles had tiny enclosures too. The dingos were cute but they also had very limited space and very bare cage. Just felt very sad in that place. I’m surprised other animal conservation agencies haven’t done anything about it tbh.

We rang Jane over phone about the booking and she was very calm and answered our queries very nicely. It’s such a lovey place to spend few hours, we got the chance to hold the snakes and staff was very knowledgeable. We also went for a walk to see beautiful peacocks, birds and dingos. Keep it up guys 👍

Really disappointed, the place is run down in need of a lot of maintenance. Animals are kept in tiny, bare, dirty enclosures and don't look very healthy. Was heartbreaking to be honest. Positives were a helpful guide who did some nice handling sessions with a healthy looking Olive Python, Children's Python and Woma Python. Plus some bobtails and blue tongues. He was a nice guy who has passion and good knowledge. Outside areas were also run down and broken, grass overgrown, cages bare or empty. I don't recommend this place at all and will be reporting it.

Animal handling was cool. The place was bit messy though. Needs a cleanup. Animals also could be given better conditions. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Lovely staff, however, the outside enclosures are small, pitiful and depressing. The beautiful creatures housed in them have zero stimulation too, such a sad existence for them. In all honesty, its quite heartbreaking to see. Please improve your facilities.

I went to this reptile park over the weekend with my partner, niece and nephew. Firstly they could at least tidy up the place so it looks more kid friendly and no so sketchy, that was my first thought walking through the park. Secondly walking into the front where you pay there are at least 4 birds when you walk through, like 2 white cockatoos and 2 pink and greys. they are all in separate cages and seriously the birds give off the most saddest and most depressed vibe like they are wanting someone to help them and let them out, there cages have no toys or fun in there what so ever, i felt so horrible that apart of me wanted to open the cage and let them fly.. this is not what i wanted for my niece and nephew to see these birds all sad and depressed hating their life stuck in those cages with no form of fun or activities for them. Let alone the fox that they have in a cage has gone nutter as it kept running around in circles looking out into the grassland wanting to escape in such a panic. I am so angry that people have left reviews about the birds and yet again the owner has done nothing about it. This trip to the reptile park was not fun to show the kids, nothing but them being being sad, depressed and raised in a sketchy environment.

I love the very relaxing atmosphere in this park. The staffs are nice and friendly too, especially the caretaker (I assume as he is very knowledgeable) of the animals whom brought us to experience and feel the skin of the lizards!

We have brought the kids here many times . This place has a rustic Aussie feel rather than a clinical reptile centre and has been great to bring our son and his friends to see the reptiles and explore outside . The reptile handler is a big reason why we have come back , because he is so good at presenting the snakes and bobtails and is so informative. We have had a good experience every time .

The kids and adults all had a great experience learning all about the reptiles and birds here. The keeper very patiently explained interesting facts on the blue tongues and let's the kids hold them. We were hearing about Nugget and his mates for weeks!

Great guides and interactions with the reptiles for the price. My 7 year old was very happy with the lizard cuddling I felt sorry for some of the outdoor animals with lack of space. Great value for a couple of hours family outing 🥰

Impulsively decided to visit the reptile farm with my family on the way back to Subiaco at around 4pm and had the most lovely time! Gane brought us around the park and introduced us to the snakes and went into detail about all the snakes and his experiences with them. It was a rather intimate experience with the lack of crowd as it was close to the closing time, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you Gain and Jane for the lovely accommodation, we will definitely be back to visit when we return to Perth!

Had an excellent time visiting this park. Went with the family and got to hold to hold a snake and bobtail. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They had interesting items such as snake skins to show and feel as well. Note - they have more crocodiles than Perth Zoo and there's a wonderful bush trail to see the wildflowers. The sign is not very very well marked but the trail is defintiely worth it. The family loved it, I loved it and we will come back again. Recommend taking your own lunch or making plans for lunch elsewhere in the swan valley as they have limited food options. They have a very nice place to sit down and have lunch though which is what we did.

Amazing i love it! I couldn't believe how many snakes they had. An amazing experience definitely worth visiting. The guy who does the holding shows with the snakes & lizards is brilliant so insightful and has lots of knowledge behind him. Great way to learn about local snakes and lizards and also afew extra bonus animals.

Staff are very friendly and informative on the wildlife on show. However thats where the fun stops. As a previous review as stated the place is a run down dump in need of much financial investment. The enclosure's are very basic, and pretty sad for the animals in them, however they were clean with water available. There's not really a set path to walk around as it's not clearly labeled , and the dumped rubbish and "décor" make it hard to determine if you have visited a wildlife park or a scrap yard. Old get chassis and hot tubs sunk into the floor for some reason. Much more could be said. This place needs to close it's doors or find fresh investment and new management.

Hidden gem in the swan valley. Over 5 acres of large native vegetation and many species of reptiles including foxes and some native birds like the cockatoo. Its shaded so no need for sunscreen or hats but . Thoroughly recommended for tourists school excursions and families with children. Bring your own lunch as its a great place for a picnic.

Do yourself a favour and dodge this place. Its a dangerous mess. The animals are poorly kept and look stressed. The enclosures are in a terrible state. The other 1 star reviews are spot on. It may have been good in its day but this place needs to be shut down asap.

We went there with our 8 year old who loves reptiles. Gregor showed us some amazing pythons and let us hold and interact with them. Then we also were able to meet some bobtail lizards. It was a great little place to visit and would definitely recommend. Thanks again!

Was great to see all the reptiles up close. loved being able to hold the snakes, so did my 4 and 17 year olds. Took a BBQ lunch and enjoyed a picnic in the garden area. Will come back again.

This place is the best reptile park in Perth! we went with the kids and It was so fun ! So interactive and educational! The man who let us touch and hold the reptiles was honestly amazing! You can tell he loves his job ! Thank you so much and will definitely be back! $40 for a family of 4 is a bargain!!

Went late in the afternoon, didn’t expect much, the dingoes feeding time was amazing, knowledgeable presentation on the cute wild animals. The reptiles were also very cute taking naps. Got to handle two docile snakes and some blue tongue lizards. It might’ve been cleaned but some enclosures lacked substrate for the animals…?

If you love snakes and lizards this is the place for you. They even have a few crocodiles. The guy who works there is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you go when it's quiet you may get to hold a snake or two!

Took the kids out to WA Reptile Park this past weekend. We all absolutely loved it. The handlers were so informative and friendly. We really enjoyed meeting Blondie the dingo. holding Mango the Woma Python and Huey the Olive Python. There's so much to see while you're there, every time we thought we'd seen it all, we found a little more. Lovely place to have a home packed lunch as well. Thanks so much to all the guys out at the WA Reptile Park!! we can't wait to come back😊😊😊 Also, as someone who's never had the pleasure of holding a snake before, I was so grateful to have the chance to at the WA Reptile Park. Such a wonderful place to visit and very affordable.

Went there on Sunday and it was an awesome experience. From the very initial walk into the park, we were greeted by the lovely Scotsman, who then proceeded to then show us around, touch the snakes, fed the dingoes, took all our questions etc etc and made it a fantastic few hours that we will never forget. Please keep up the good work team and we shall see you again soon
