This campus is beautiful plenty of places to take some beautiful pics I'm sure the sunset here must be beautiful as well. Went to a family engagement summit and it was a wonderful time the food was excellent! The staff so professional attentive nice well mannered and on their game there. The conference room was large and accommodating just an overall clean beautiful space I will have an event at this place if I was looking for a large venue it's actually perfect. CLASS A. For sure I asked one of the guest how was the hotel rooms they said beautiful and beds are very comfortable too

Wow! This place was a magnificent gem. Service was outstanding and check in was a breeze. The rooms are very well appointed, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I chose to be on the 5th floor so seeing the rolling ground of the golf course and the pond just made it extra cozy on a foggy winter morning. Their breakfast buffet style at the Glenn restaurant is so tasty. The wait staff there is so attentive. Overall, great experience. This place is close enough if you want to get to downtown Richmond, but far enough away that you don't have to deal with lack of parking and filth of being in a city. There is a shopping center nearby for a quick run for late-night snacks or early morning coffee run. Come stay here when in Richmond!

I gave this hotel 5 stars because the setting was lovely and I think the staff does the best with what it is working with. I would read the pluses and minuses before choosing to stay here. Pluses, the room was very quiet. I never heard anyone near or above me. The grounds are like a park and are peaceful and relaxing. There are places to sit around the property. The outside dining area, overlooking the pool, was lovely. There was a firepit and the restaurant staff is wonderful. Having the restaurant on site was a treat. It is not outstanding, but is very good and not having to drive anywhere is a big plus. They have a great Happy Hour and nice offerings on the menu. The bath vanity was a nice size and marble. I liked the deep sink. The water pressure was great in the shower. One big negative was that no desk was in the room. I was lucky that this stop was a break from work and only for 2 nights, so it was not an issue. But I would not choose this property for a working trip. Which is odd, since there is a conference center here. Some of the bedside plugs did not work. This is an older property, so yes, there were mildew stains on the bathroom grout. The toilet was older and ran for quite a while after flushing. The a/c was a little loud and the chair fabric was not clean. The carpets are worn. The first day it was difficult to figure out how to get to the restaurant, as the signage in the hotel is poor. I ended up walking through some tunnels, which were not in great shape and musty. Found out I could just walk across the lovely yard when I returned. Unfortunately, I had trouble finding my room coming in the front of the building. After the first day, I figured out how to access the different areas. This was my first stay at a Tapestry Collection, which I had expected to be a step above a standard Hilton property. It is not. For a short, relaxing stay I would visit again.

Fantastic experience. OUTSTANDING food and dining service. So happy we stopped halfway on our trip from DC to NC. We found this by accident, as we were looking for a reasonably priced stopping point. Very comfortable rooms. This is now a must stop for us whenever we travel down to see relatives in NC!

This hotel is great. Great location. Nice break from travel hotels off the highway. Rooms are updated and clean. The restaurant and staff are great. Ashley was bartending. She was attentive, explained more about the property and the history. Took great pride in her job and the property. The common areas could use a little extra love with maintenance and cleaning, but overall the property is beautiful.

Place is absolutely gorgeous! Not just a hotel it’s like a resort! The staff is awesome! The food is delicious! Just take a visit and you wanna stay there! The perfect location for our family to stay when we have a wedding to attend close by. But it’s a great place to have a wedding too ! It’s absolutely beautiful!!!

I loved my stay at Virginia Crossings. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant is lovely. Donna at the check in desk is an absolute doll—she made me feel welcome from the first moment, and ensured that all my questions were answered. Room service was reasonable and the food was great. Will definitely be returning!

For a four star hotel this was very disappointing. I’m very surprised at the other reviews…The parking lot at night was dim and very creepy behind the building. I had to walk with my child alone and felt unsafe. The room’s carpet was not clean. The heat made a loud bang every time it turned on and off it sounded like the door slamming and woke me up every time. The lights were bright, cold LED lights. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no menu in the room for room service. These things should not be an issue at a hotel of this rating.
