This place is very nostalgic and makes you feel like you're back in the 80s at the lake with your family. It's really cool because they made the lake into a swimming pool but it's still with the lake water and it has a lot of awesome stuff to do like a rope swing a big huge bounce thing and water slides. It is a little pricey it's $15 per person and children 3 and under are free. I would recommend this place though it's definitely fun

Small man-made lake. 4 sections: fishing, 2 4-foot areas with water slides split by walkway and decagon shaped 16ft area with jumping bag at a platform and a diving board. Surrounded by lounge chairs and pavilions for rent. Volleyball court, small food vending area, banquet hall behind entrance. Life vests and life guards on duty. Bathrooms indoor with septic plumbing. 2 parking areas. Costs to enter per person and requires a signed waiver.

Nope. Nope. Nope. The place is run down and the clientele is not very family friendly. The family sitting in front of us were all sharing weed. We saw the father pass his pipe to his daughter who couldn’t have been more than 14. At the table next to us a pregnant mother knocked down her toddler in diapers to teach him a lesson and then yelled at grandma for picking him up to comfort him. Pretty much everyone was smoking or vaping. Teenaged girls in the pool had mouths like sailors. We will not be back. What a waste of money and time.

This was my first time there, after hearing about it from a co-worker who loves it there. It was very quaint and clean, and the staff in the entrance area were very helpful and friendly. Since the rope swing was closed for repair, instead of $18 per person it was $15, and they also automatically applied a coupon, bringing our total to $27.64 for two people. As you can see by my shared pictures, there was hardly anyone there, but I was told that's only because most schools in the area have already started. I went with my teenage daughter, and she was very reluctant to even get in the water, and when she finally did we didn't swim for long in the pool because we both sustained foot injuries from the ragged rocks that extended 6 feet from the edge until you reached the sand bottom. The one thing that we did like was being able to kayak on their little lake, but the bank was very muddy and made it somewhat difficult to get in and launch, and very difficult to get out. My shoes got stuck in the mud, so I had to hold push the kayak onto the shore, reach down and remove my shoes one at a time, throw them up onto the shore, and with bare feet slip and fall several times before managing to finally get myself out. Thankfully, I was then able to direct my daughter to throw me her shoes so that she wouldn't have muddy shoes to take home, I pulled her kayak onto the bank for her, and she go herself up the bank. We rinsed off our muddy legs, feet and hands, plus my shoes, in the murky swimming pool, but when we then went to the restroom to shower, dry off, put on dry clothes and leave, THERE WERE NO SHOWERS. Needless to say, we thoroughly showered after our 45 minute drive home, applied antibiotic ointment to our foot abrasions, put a few drops of alcohol into our ears, and vowed never to return.

Decent at best, it resembles a run down summer camp that hasn't been kept up in a decade. Water is questionable, the volleyball sand area is just a mess with weeds and thorns. Maybe try and make it a decent experience?? The food area is overpriced about 400%. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS. I don't know where the money goes from the entrance fee but it doesn't go towards renovations. The slides don't look like anything I'd let my own child go on. I would like to see this place really take a 180⁰ turn but until then my statement stands. Go to VA beach for a better experience.

Just discovered this gem of history today and wow!!! What a neat place with lots to do! We played water volley ball, kayaked, dove off diving boards, and best of all the BLOB! Hopefully Hadad’s Lake will be around for summers to come! Thank you!!!

This was our 1st visit on 6/16/18 and everyone in our group had a blast. Hadads is a family operated business so it is much more informal than a conventional water park. The water was clean and warm(fresh water - not swimming pool water) and the life guards weren't over reactive. We rented a gazebo and had enough room for all. The kids wore themselves out from jumping off the diving platform and rope launch all day while the little ones waded about in the shallow pool adjacent to them. We will definitely return again before summers end!

Had a great time relaxing and swimming. The place looks older but the staff are very nice and you can BYOB. We Will go back. Price is worth it. They have some fun things to so and you can get chairs and umbrellas there if you get there early. We packed a cooler and had lunch under the main building 's cover. They have food and pool items for sell as well. The location is great for events and the also do weddings there.
