This
was
my
first
time
there,
after
hearing
about
it
from
a
co-worker
who
loves
it
there.
It
was
very
quaint
and
clean,
and
the
staff
in
the
entrance
area
were
very
helpful
and
friendly.
Since
the
rope
swing
was
closed
for
repair,
instead
of
$18
per
person
it
was
$15,
and
they
also
automatically
applied
a
coupon,
bringing
our
total
to
$27.64
for
two
people.
As
you
can
see
by
my
shared
pictures,
there
was
hardly
anyone
there,
but
I
was
told
that's
only
because
most
schools
in
the
area
have
already
started.
I
went
with
my
teenage
daughter,
and
she
was
very
reluctant
to
even
get
in
the
water,
and
when
she
finally
did
we
didn't
swim
for
long
in
the
pool
because
we
both
sustained
foot
injuries
from
the
ragged
rocks
that
extended
6
feet
from
the
edge
until
you
reached
the
sand
bottom.
The
one
thing
that
we
did
like
was
being
able
to
kayak
on
their
little
lake,
but
the
bank
was
very
muddy
and
made
it
somewhat
difficult
to
get
in
and
launch,
and
very
difficult
to
get
out.
My
shoes
got
stuck
in
the
mud,
so
I
had
to
hold
push
the
kayak
onto
the
shore,
reach
down
and
remove
my
shoes
one
at
a
time,
throw
them
up
onto
the
shore,
and
with
bare
feet
slip
and
fall
several
times
before
managing
to
finally
get
myself
out.
Thankfully,
I
was
then
able
to
direct
my
daughter
to
throw
me
her
shoes
so
that
she
wouldn't
have
muddy
shoes
to
take
home,
I
pulled
her
kayak
onto
the
bank
for
her,
and
she
go
herself
up
the
bank.
We
rinsed
off
our
muddy
legs,
feet
and
hands,
plus
my
shoes,
in
the
murky
swimming
pool,
but
when
we
then
went
to
the
restroom
to
shower,
dry
off,
put
on
dry
clothes
and
leave,
THERE
WERE
NO
SHOWERS.
Needless
to
say,
we
thoroughly
showered
after
our
45
minute
drive
home,
applied
antibiotic
ointment
to
our
foot
abrasions,
put
a
few
drops
of
alcohol
into
our
ears,
and
vowed
never
to
return.
