Very impressive unique war monument, contemporary witness and monument. The museum on city history and the Second World War in Mannheim is worthwhile. Very competent young student of history as a museum leader. Without surrender, Mannheim would have threatened the same atomic bombs as Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

If you are interested in the history of the Electoral Palatinate and Mannheim, a must! The completely virtual museum is fun and invites you to act and participate. I only visited the ground floor (for now) (City History MA) and it took me almost 2 hours.

Today we visited the special Willy Brandt exhibition on the ground floor as part of a guided tour. Very competent historian who presented Willy Brandt's biography in a clear and entertaining way using the exhibits on display. The many references to Willy Brandt's visits to Mannheim are also very interesting.

Very modern museum, a lot of interaction and the price definitely worth it!

Very well done permanent exhibition on Mannheim's history. Changing special exhibitions. Parking for 3 euros around the corner. And cheap cappuccino or other self-service. Often biscuits from the Marchivum circle of friends on top. An all-round successful excursion destination that is worth visiting often.

We went to MARCHIVUM again, this time with our museum pass, and were not disappointed. Both current exhibitions “Typically Mannheim” and “What does that have to do with me” are lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. We were able to spend a lovely, long afternoon there. The staff very nice and helpful. Thank you very much, anytime again!

I would 100% recommend this museum its amazing and has so much to offer! The people working there were so friendly! I will very gladly go back to the museum again since there was so much material about Mannheim that we didn’t get to see in this visit (there is so much Material) And in December they will open a new exhibition. I hope I get to see the same guide as this time. Weiter so ! :)
