I
was
allowed
to
spend
5
weeks
in
this
clinic.
Apart
from
the
somewhat
cumbersome
arrival
procedure,
which
could
easily
be
mitigated,
it
was
a
good
stay.
With
the
knowledge
that
the
doctors
could
not
work
miracles
with
my
illness,
I
agreed
to
the
stay.
The
approach
of
the
therapists
deserves
special
mention.
The
goals
are
discussed
right
from
the
start,
without
starting
the
therapy
right
away.
The
nurses
on
the
ward,
I
was
on
the
6th,
always
had
an
open
ear.
The
rooms
were
always
clean,
the
decor
itself
has
a
certain
charm,
but
perfectly
adequate
for
the
stay
to
sleep
and
rest.
My
bathroom
has
at
least
been
allowed
to
undergo
a
renovation.
There
is
a
bit
of
chaos
in
the
dining
room
upon
entry,
but
you
don't
have
to
rush
straight
to
the
first
buffet
station.
There
are
three
of
them
in
the
dining
room.
I
politely
declined
to
have
the
food
brought
to
my
table,
although
I
should
have
been
entitled
to
it
due
to
my
walking
deficits.
If
the
therapy
plan
was
too
full
for
me,
no
one
complained
if
you
canceled
something
without
even
trying
it
and
then
you
might
not
be
able
to
do
anything
for
the
rest
of
the
day.
It
is
the
patient
who
will
assess
how
far
they
can
go,
not
the
treatment
plan,
so
don't
be
ashamed
of
that.
All
of
the
staff
have
always
been
nice
and
friendly,
but
it's
always
a
matter
of
how
you
treat
yourself.
If,
like
me,
you
are
not
the
fastest,
you
can
still
easily
walk
to
the
town
center
via
the
Kurpark,
which
is
directly
adjacent
to
the
clinic.
There
are
enough
benches
ready
for
the
breaks.
The
way
back
is
a
bit
more
tedious
as
the
mountain
has
to
be
climbed.
A
bus
stop
is
right
in
front
of
the
clinic
and
you
don't
lose
mobility
if
you
don't
have
a
car
with
you.
The
cafeteria
keeps
the
little
things
you
need
ready
and
I
used
the
in-house
hairdresser
twice,
and
the
staff
there
was
always
courteous.
Even
though
I
wasn't
allowed
to
take
Werner
Wicker's
picture
with
me
as
a
souvenir,
I
took
a
photo
with
him.
Should
I
be
able
to
enjoy
rehabilitation
again,
the
clinic
would
be
on
the
short
list,
even
though
I
know
that
miracles
are
not
possible.
Warm
greetings
to

entire

the
name
the
other
patients
gave
me)
(Original)
5
Wochen
durfte
ich
in
dieser
Klinik
verbringen.
Vom
etwas
umständlichen
Anreiseprocedere
abgesehen,
welches
sich
leicht
entschärfen
ließe,
war
es
ein
guter
Aufenthalt.
Mit
dem
Bewusstsein,
das
die
Ärzte
bei
meiner
Erkrankung
keine
Wunder
vollbringen
konnten,
habe
ich
mich
auf
den
Aufenthalt
eingelassen.
Besonders
hervorzuheben
ist
die
Herangehensweise
der
Therapeuten,
man
spricht
direkt
die
Ziele
von
Anfang
an
ab,
ohne
gleich
in
die
Therapie
zu
starten.
Die
Schwestern
auf
der
Station,
ich
war
auf
der
6,
hatten
auch
immer
ein
offenes
Ohr.
Die
Zimmer
waren
immer
sauber,
die
Einrichtung
selbst
hat
einen
gewissen
Charme,
aber
für
den
Aufenthalt
zum
Schlafen
und
Ausruhen
völlig
ausreichend.
Mein
Bad
hat
zumindest
eine
Renovierung
erfahren
dürfen.
Im
Speisesaal
herrscht
beim
Einlass
leichtes
Chaos,
aber
man
muss
sich
ja
nicht
gleich
auf
die
Erste
Buffett
Station
stürzen.
Es
gibt
im
Speisesaal
drei
davon.
Das
Essen
mir
an
den
Tisch
bringen
zu
lassen,
habe
ich
dankend
abgelehnt,
obwohl
ich
aufgrund
meiner
Defizite
beim
Gehen
den
Anspruch
darauf
gehabt
hätte.
Wenn
mir
der
Therapieplan
doch
mal
zu
voll
war,
hat
sich
niemand
beschwert,
wenn
man
mal
was
abgesagt
hat,
ohne
es
nicht
doch
mal
probiert
zu
haben
um
dann
eventuell
den
Rest
des
Tages
nichts
mehr
zu
können.
Der
Patient
schätzt
ein,
wie
weit
er
gehen
kann
und
nicht
der
Therapieplan,
daher
sollte
man
sich
dessen
nicht
schämen.
Das
gesamte
Personal
war
immer
nett
und
freundlich,
aber
es
liegt
auch
immer
daran,
wie
man
sich
selbst
diesem
gegenüber
verhält.
Wer
sowie
ich
nicht
der
schnellste
ist,
kann
den
Ortskern
über
den
Kurpark,
der
sich
unmittelbar
an
die
Klinik
anschließt
trotzdem
gut
zu
Fuß
erreichen.
Für
die
Pausen
stehen
ausreichend
Bänke
parat.
Der
Rückweg
ist
etwas
mühsamer,
da
der
Berg
erklommen
werden
muss.
Eine
Bushaltestelle
ist
direkt
vor
der
Klinik
und
man
verliert
keine
Mobilität,
wenn
man
kein
Auto
dabei
hat.
Die
Cafeteria
hält
die
kleinen
Dinge
des
Bedarfs
parat
und
den
Friseur
im
Haus
habe
ich
auch
zwei
mal
in
Anspruch
genommen,
auch
dort
war
das
Personal
immer
zuvorkommend.
Auch
wenn
ich
das
Bild
vom
Werner
Wicker
nicht
als
Andenken
mitnehmen
durfte,
hab
ich
ein
Foto
mit
ihm
geschossen.
Sollte
ich
nochmals
in
den
Genuss
einer
Reha
kommen,
wäre
die
Klinik
in
der
engeren
Wahl,
auch
wenn
ich
Weiß,
das
Wunder
nicht
möglich
sind.
Herzliche
Grüße
an
das
gesamte
Team
von
Dr.
House
(diesen
Namen
gaben
mir
die
anderen
Patienten)
