My fiancè and I stepped into the restaurant at 10:50 to order breakfast. The waiter told us that they can't serve us breakfast as breakfast time is to 11:00 and the staff already started cleaning the kitchen for lunchtime. Even though we were technically within ordering time, we said it was fine and that we will order lunch. The waiter then informed us that they can't serve us lunch as that will only be served from 12:00. We were very dissapointed with this service and complained at the farm office. The friendly lady at the office called the manager and after overhearing how rude the manager was with her over the phone, she said that unfortunately the manager said that this is how it is. Will tell all our friends and family in the surrounding areas to skipp this unfriendly restaurant.

We stumbled on this place after making a wrong turn on our way to Cape Agulhas. What luck! The view from the restaurant is nothing special but the dining experience more than made up for it. The staff were very cordial. The food was superb. The ambiance was elegant. The prices were competitive. And, the wines were delicious. Wildekrans is a must if you are anywhere nearby.

What a wonderful space to have breakfast or lunch. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Tasting room needs a bit of love and updating but a great venue. Breakfast was great.

Bought the wikideal special for a night's accommodation and breakfast here and it was superb. Lovely estate, beautiful area and such friendly staff! The highlight was definitely the breakfast - we were blown away by the tastiness of the food. Definitely recommend this place!

Emma, Gordon and the team are truly phenomenal. The food is of the highest quality and deserving of a Michelin 🌟 Pop in for a wine tasting and and a meal you wont find better in the western Cape.

Visited on a Sunday, had a very nice wine tasting experience. Sat out in the tranquil garden and had a satisfying cheese platter with the wine tasting. Ended up signing up membership with 10% discount on wine purchases & free wine tasting. Thank you, Wildekrans, we will be back.

Such a great place to visit with a family group. Breakfasts were amazing, cute double porched accomodations and the staff could not have been more responsive and accommodating. Jesmeen was so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful setting, staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient and the food sublime, especially the springbok loin! Perfect place for a Sunday lunch, we had a great experience from start to finish. Their own wine is reasonably priced and very pleasant. Definitely worthy of a repeat visit in the not-too-distant future

The restaurant of Wildekrans Wine Estate is simply fantastic. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. The restaurant itself is stunningly designed, the food and wines are outstanding. You wouldn’t want to bring smaller kids though, the restaurant is just too upscale. This is for sure one of the best restaurants in the Hermanus area and plays in a similar league as the Manor House outside of Stanford which is also highly recommendable.

Our stay was magical and romantic, I was completely blown away by its beauty and 5 star service. Meche was an absolute gem facilitating us with the cottage and seeing to all our needs, the estate and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an early lunch at the restaurant, the food and wine was phenomenal, the Chef made a point to come greet us as well and that made it extra special. The restaurant experience felt like pure opulence. We were booked in for a 1 night stay and when we arrived to our cottage the champagne was on ice and our gourmet braai box was busy being prepared for evening delivery. I was able to pre-order these things prior to our arrival, I just loved that convenience! All we needed was an overnight bag, as the cottage came with a fully kitted kitchen including braai utensils, wood and fresh linen + towels with heated rooms. Every single thing was clean and in mint condition! The coffee station was stocked up and with hot chocolate too, the cottage had an honesty bar with the wine from the estate, so you really need not bring anything. It was the little things as well, the hairdryer in the cupboard, the shampoo in the shower to the bottled water and milk in the fridge. The views from the cottage was amazing, sitting on the stoep sipping on champagne and watching the horses graze was truly serene, tranquility at it’s finest. The breakfast they serve is out of this world, it was such a large spread, we left the estate with full bellies and happy hearts. My only regret is not staying longer!

Please specify wine tasting hours. General information on web shows 8:00 to 16:00 on Sauturdys. Were there this morning at 9:00 to taste and buy Barrel Select Cape Blend enroute and we're abruptly told tasting and sales start at 10:00.

What a disappointing tasting at this lovely wine farm that I was very excited to visit. Such an unfriendly chap doing the tasting, really not interested in sharing his knowledge with us. Left pretty quickly in search of other wine farms in the area.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is truly a great experience! You can enjoy nature at its best. The trail routes are clearly marked. We did not have any difficulties navigating along the well kept trails. The nature reserve staf are friendly and helpful. Take your swimming gear with when you do the waterfall route.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Ataraxia has wonderful wines, I couldn't pick just one I loved. The tasting room is beautiful, situated in an old-style chapel. The views of the vineyards is amazing. There's a bit of a wait if you have not booked and it's busy - but enough time to wander around outside and take photos.
