A unique and intimate experience. One of the best wineries in that region. Prices are above average but so worth every cent/penny. Family run farm and all wines are made with love and perfectionism. A must when you come to the winelands.

Had a wonderful Vintage Tasting session with Olivia who took us through the history and wines of De Trafford. This is a really special experience for those of us who want to learn what it takes to establish and maintain a premier wine brand. Honestly some of these vintage wines were the best that I have tasted... and then to finish it off with the signature Straw Wine was perfect. Definitely a "must do" for all wine lovers looking for something special.

Worth the trip. End of the road literally in the Stellenbosch mountains. Given its location it harbours its own eco system. This little corner is able to deliver some exceptional wine in its modest tasting room. Take in the the cellar room in its operating glory as you are warmly greeted. Between De Trafford and Sijnn there's alot on offer to taste, so carve out some time and prepare your palate for a great experience.

This place is magical. Wonderful part of the world and a wine maker who is considered, long-term in focus and making some thoroughly beautiful wines. And they're selling their old wines still - a real treat!

Small family wine business that honors a traditional wine making by letting nature make the wine. They even jokingly invited me to work in their winery free of charge to learn how to make wine. Their Straw Wine rivals Ice Wine made in Germany.

Best wine tasting experience in our lives. Danielle was brilliant and she loves everything about wine. And of course the wines are exquisite. Highly recommend the library tasting.

A must visit wine estate if you’re in the area. I would recommend booking the vineyard walk and then a tasting after. Hendry took us for the vineyard walk and was super knowledgable and friendly. Superb wine tasting as well. 5 star experience !

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful drives one could have to a wine farm...it's at the end of a stunning valley...the nature & scenery is amazing...we were hosted by the owner who was kind & attentive...there were some good wines on offer & the tasting costs R250....this cost is absorbed if one buys some wine...you have a choice between whites, reds & desert wines...there is also a holiday cottage which is located in the middle of the vineyards...but again the nature & scenery is just phenomenal...it's also out of the way & not busy at all with an indoor & outdoor area for tasting...

The best wines I’ve tasted in SA. And also the wine tasting it’s so professional . Recommend to book before, we had Nina that explained us everything with a lot of knowledge and patience, definitely the winery that you must visit in Stellenbosch
