Great place for a chill and their pizzas are amazing, pity I forgot to take a pic. Brian was our waiter, very friendly guy and serves with a smile visible behind the mask. All the waiters actually are nice and friendly. Really enjoyed ourselves

Review is about the store. They have some lovely items on sale. The wine section has a very good selection. You can find really old vintages here. The stall also sells good jam and dried fruits. The walnuts are the best buy. Excellent quality. But not always available.

Strawberry picking is something we have not done before. Great family outing. Enjoyed it. Great farm stall with good selection of goodies. Great wine store as well.

What a rip off!! R260.00 for 2 x adults and 1 x child 3 years old taking 2 and a half punnets to pick strawberries. You can buy it inside the store for much cheaper!! Will NOT refer our friends or family to them.

The "Scarecrow Strawberry Farm" has certainly changed from the original one we visited 10 years ago, but not in bad way. Great restaurant, food service, play area. A pleasure to visit. They also still have the old vintage bottles dating back from the 1990's past their prime but makes great gifts for special year anniversary presents. Pick your own strawberries and take a photo with a truly South African scarecrow!

Awesome place, only a 5 rand entrance fee. Lots of little strawberries that can be picked, for really affordable prices. this place is really worth a visit. Loved it.

Great farm. Horrible owner. This was the second time we visited the farm and we picked as many strawberries as we liked the first time as we had seen many of the other visitors of the farm do after we bought the strawberry containers you need to purchase. The second time we visited we did as we had seen previously by picking and putting in a plastic bag. The car guard ran to the owner after seeing this and said we were stealing strawberries which we were not. We then returned the next round of the strawberries we had picked with no hassle. The owner instead of letting us know that we are not officially allowed to do and telling us to leave the premises with the strawberrys we had already picked ,he confiscated the already picked strawberries and caused a huge scene calling us thieves and refusing to believe that we did not know ,when we asked calmly for him to explain to us the procedure since we had a different understanding of it ,he continued to shout at us , using vulgar language ("bullsh*t" was what he said). He then proceeded to call security on us as if we were being hostile towards him which was actually the other way around. Very unfortunate experience for a place that should be holding itself to a more professional standard. I highly recommend you think twice about picking strawberries here. You do really do pick at your own risk

Had a very bad experience today. Our phones were stolen out of our cars today. The car guards on site did not see a thing amazingly, their security cameras for the parking is not even working and the farm manager not sympathetic with our loss at all. He gave us his peace of mind and let us feel like the guilty ones. This place will never see us again!!! And it will help if you teach your cashiers to smile when customers spend money there!!

I was at the farmstall. Amazing selection of jams and dried fruits. I try to go often enough. I really don't want to be without my jams as well get my stash of gherkins. The farmstall is wheelchair friendly and has wheelchair parking very close to the front door

The place is beautiful, no doubt about it. Children can play. However I received very bad service, it was 4pm and I requested an omelette for my 2 year old son since the menu wasn’t great. They refused because it was past breakfast. I then ordered Vienna and chips, the most awful food I ever tasted in my life. It was dry as if they left it in the oil for too long. The strawberries were sweet, the best I ever tasted. But my overall experience was a disappointment due to their very unfriendly staff.

Always a lovely drive out to the stall, even when it is not strawberry season. The wine store is stacked with a great variety from across the country and there are regular sales on weekends. The store apparently has some lovely stuff too, but I never make it past the wine section.

Nice coffee shop and farm stall, but in the middle of October most of the Strawberries were not ripe. Took us quite a while to find ripe ones. Then we paid per weight.

Such a wonderful place to be on a sunny day to grab your fresh strawberries, wine, groceries etc. The restaurant also serves some amazing dishes as you enjoy the views of Stellenbosch mountains. Simply awesome !!!

The checking out counters are overcrowded making it difficult to make sure you have all yor purchases when you leave. Between the overcrowded counter and an over eager helper i left an expensive bottle of curry beans behind. Shop was fully stocked and wine at special prices ranging from inexpensive to special.

Bought some fresh straw berries at a good price and feta cheese at a even better price. Great jams, meat, cold meats, cheese and many more.

I’m not sure if this is the best place to get breakfast but the scones looked really good. I was disappointed with my French toast to be honest- it wasn’t very tasty and the cream cheese was a tiny dollop of old/ leftover batch. The venue is really cool. It’s nice to sit on a deck overlooking a strawberry field. I’m sure on a nice day it would make for a pleasant experience but I won’t be going back to eat breakfast there again.
