We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are super clean,the breakfast was nice. The host were very kind and professional. My kids enjoyed every moment. Looking forward to September for the whale festival,we will definitely book here again.

I absolutely love this guest house. They have a mini bar with sodas and mineral water too for people who don't drink. The bathroom was so spacious. Room was clean. Staff were so friendly and breakfast is included in the price. Smoking area around the pool which was a plus as quite a few guest houses in Hermanus have no smoking. Secure parking inside the property. This was our second visit to Baleia and if in Hermanus again this would definitely be my first choice for accommodation

The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were spectacular clean the owners were very accommodating. Just some suggestion consider opening more channels on Dstv on the television. 👍🏽

Friendly folks and convenient position. Room was very cold though, no air con, and needs a desk/working area for it to work for business travelers.

Did not contact us to say Hermanus had an electricity problem. Gave us a small LED light, which did not help. No generator backup.

I stay here every two weeks, and Janke and Candy always make me feel welcome, and important as a customer. The rooms are spotless, and super comfortable - and cater for singles, couples and families. The internet is strong and stays on throughout loadshedding. Also situated right in the middle of Hermanus, not too far from the Town centre or the other side where the mall is. Perfect location. And the breakfast in the morning is the best, served with hot coffee. These lovely ladies have never put a foot wrong while I've stayed there (and I've done so more than 30 times at this point). I stay all over the Western Cape for work and I HIGHLY recommend Baleia Guest Lodge. They're popular though so you've got to book in advance.
