I enjoyed this place. I had the happy hour shrimp tacos and the grilled chicken club sandwich. Both were very good. Tall Lagunitas was $5 for happy hour. Service was good. View was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Memorial day 2022. Horrible service. Arrived at 10 am, the attendant took 30 minutes to take the order and missed the breakfast cut at 10:30, not knowing we select breakfast items from the menu to find out that breakfast was over and had to select from a limited menu due to the kitchen not abke to handle the holiday demand. Placed the order at 11, the attendant after asking many times for an update the attendant said that the order was placed at 11:15. The food was not good. I'm writings this review at noon.

Always love coming to Hennessey's when I come back to my hometown in Redondo. The Vibe is great, people watching is great and the food & drinks are pretty good. We ride bikes down there chill and enjoy the scene, and then I die in the way home 😆 This time was really fun. They had live music, there were kids on their electric bikes, dogs w/ sunglasses it was great. We had Marco as a server and he was great. The vodka lemonades were great, Poke Nachos...Meh! It's why I'm knocking a star off. Tuna pieces to big and cut incorrectly, way to many tissue striations per piece...made it chewy and pieces inedible. . But the flavor is good

This place is dirty. 4 employees tested for Covid. I hope the patrons didn’t catch it. My daughter quit due to the very dirty not sanitary conditions. At that time she was told she lost her unemployment. One day later 4 employees including the one that told her tested positive for Covid. My daughter deserves her current unemployment due to no work in an unsafe place. She Deserves her right to unemployment. She put in two dayS of work and saw how unsafe it was. She is still At risk. She deserves her unemployment. C

Restaurant was fully staffed, beautiful and clean establishment with polite and professional personnel. Restaurant overall given (5 stars)! 8.) Entertainment, Band I enjoyed! (5 stars) 9.) Service was good and a beautiful sunset we saw. That’s all. Place is filthy. On the top floor if you look up to the ceiling there is so much dirt all around. That has not be cleaned in years. Mould on the vinegar dispenser… that gives you an idea of the cleanliness of the restaurant. And if this is what you see, you can imagine what can be found in areas customers do not see. Could not finish my meal just thinking of all this.

Very good food and friendly staff. The view of the beach from the second floor was spectacular as well. Sure, the food took a bit to come out, but we didn't mind. I will be keeping this place in mind fro future visits.

I love Irish bars period. Yesterday it was odd. No hostess assistance, our waiter got our drinks (quantity) wrong and bathroom needed cleaning and supply refill. In the past, we ate over there many times and hamburgers are delicious. As I said, one odd day but we love going there as it is so close to the beach and a fun place to hang out!

Went on a Thursday around 11pm it was the the only place open on pier strand that didn't feel like a night club so we picked it. Had a couple guys playing music not bad not great either. Had a pretty good burger although for $15 burger wasn't a big as other places but still was good. Overall it was decent food friendly service just nothing to write home about.

Found this place on a google search for good food in Town. Ambiance is good and also the food. They have friendly and quick service crew.

Great views of the ocean and people walking by. Got the fish and chips. Long skinny pieces, so it was a lot of breading and not much fish inside. Cole slaw was very sweet, not in a good way. My meal partners both had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and said it was good. One friend and myself ordered the jalapeño margarita...it was not good. It tasted like a margarita with a strange chemical taste...didn't taste like fresh jalapeños. This drink could have been really good with fresh ingredients. The other friends had screw drivers and enjoyed them. Overall this is a good place for the atmosphere and people watching, but the food and drinks are mediocre at best. We left because we were cold, they never turned the heaters on. The place across the way had the fires burning and looked very inviting.

We dined on the top floor of the restaurant overlooking the beach and dinner was delicious. They were having a buy one get one free burger night so that was fun.

Bloody Mary was delicious ! Atmosphere delightful . New bartender seemed disinterested . Ordered steak and shrimp . Steak was tough and overcooked to my specifications . I ordered medium rare . It was served medium well . Perhaps a hamburger would have been best since it's hard to mess that up . Lol .oh ! And only two pieces of shrimp ? Please ... 4 to 6 is the norm .

Love being by the ocean. Especially pretty to sit during sunset. The cocktails were decent and the atmosphere was good.

Great place, good food, just noticed that they are understaffed (at least the day I went to eat) and sometimes it took a little bit to ask for something to the waitress, but overall, good service.

Great sandwich and fresh fries

First time at Hennessey Bar and Tavern. The atmosphere is pretty good. Parking metered parking is a 1 minute walk away. The staff was nice and pleasant. The menu had a good listing. We ordered a Giant Burger which came with fries. Our order took about 10 minutes. The hamburger wasn't what we would call Giant, it was average size. He meat patty was thick. On first bite the burger tasted plain with no sauce ect. other than lettuce and tomato an was just average. The fries were good but tasted as though they were frozen not fresh cut. We also ordered calamari. The calamari came with three dipping sauces. The calamari was pretty good tasting. An overall score between 1 and 10 we would give it a 5.

AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD! We celebrated a bday and graduation at the tavern with a group of 25+ people. The manager Ronny was very kind and attentive to help us with this reservation. Also, our server Samuel did and excellent job helping all our guests with food and drinks. He always showed relaxed and respectful despite being a big group. Everybody love the food and the place! Bonus: it’s in front of the beach which makes it even better for after party.

One of my most visited restaurants along the coastline. I can't say enough about the food and the staff! Might just be my number one in all SoCal.

This place was great! Jessica the manager, and Joe the young man who served us at the bar made our trip so much better! ( we visited for a few days). Great company, tasty drinks and a very pleasant atmosphere. In addition to, has a lovely view of the beach and pier. But big shout out to you both for making our trip memorable!

Brought my kids here for the first time. We sat on the 2nd level overlooking the ocean. It was a beautiful day, the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good, restaurant and bathrooms clean and tidy. Perfection on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks guys!

The food is at best slightly less than medicore, but the views from the top level for lunch is awesome! I love fries, but I like them crispy not soft and drenched with oil. Their chips are greasy and cold so the grease is coated on the cold chips. I would go there only for drinks and possibly appetizers.

Tried the avocado toast and the Highlander skillet (two of the most popular items) The avocado toast arrived pretty soggy. Both dishes had good flavor but, the potatoes were extremely oily. Like a soggy oil. We also ordered a michelada. It didn’t have much flavor it’s a 2/5 at best. Overall , the food is okay 3/5. The other thing I noticed was that my glass of water smelled like egg. I didn’t notice until I had drank a good amount of water but it was a strong odor. The atmosphere is nice. We sat in the upstairs area. Service was good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Unless you want a cold beer steer clear! Food is awful to say the least! Place is dirty! Not good dirty either! Wish I could get my mo ey back! Pictures make it look good, it was not! Fish breading was mushy! Coleslaw was not edible. My kids passed on the mac n cheese!

Service was great! The portion was generous based on the listed price solely on the area of the restaurant. I would recommend this place for a bite to eat. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the choices. We got the Fish and Chips and Steak and Shrimp entrees. They were both enjoyable.

Stopped in for a quick bite, nice kids meals, huge 1/3? Lb burger! Never had Anita root beer before but it was fab. $6 fresh squeezed vodka cocktails on the weekends pretty nice too!!! Great service from Joe on the patio.

All I know going into this place was that it had a reputation for good guava pastries (and that's what I was hunting for). I was amazed by the sheer size of the place- I mean true I should have expected it with a name like Versailles- but this place was absolutely enormous. Even so, there was a long line of people waiting for lunch in a Monday. We grabbed a few guava pastries from the window and came back later for linner.

Fantastic place to get food when in a hurry. Their customer service is speedy, prices are reasonable, awesome atmosphere. Highly recommended

Hennessy's is a great place for brunch or dinner. If you can manage to get a table by the windows upstairs, the view of the ocean is fantastic, especially at sunset. The staff is always super nice and my food has always been great.

Well what can I say about Versailles that has not already been said over the last I don't know forty (40) years. Versailles is a staple for Cuban food in Miami; also, for the kickstart of any political careers may I add... Versailles has not just been a great place for Cuban food but the center point for the Cuban exile community since as far back as I can remember. Over the years Versailles has expanded at the same location as they have had a bakery now adjacent to the main restaurant for several years now. The parking was greatly improved as well which is great as it used to be a little challenging. Going to Versailles for me triggers memories of my childhood having breakfast with my family on Sundays or dinner Saturday evenings on our way to visit family. Over all that time the quality of the food and the service has been great. The menu is very extensive for a Cuban restaurant and I can say that everything here is usually very, very good.

My friend and I come here on Saturday mornings after walking the Pier. I love their egg white scramble but I get it with whole eggs. The staff is always nice and friendly. We always enjoy our breakfast here.

I've never had the food at Hennessey's so I can't speak to that, but I can confirm it's a good spot to grab a cocktail while the Hermosa pier. Cheap, stiff drinks are always welcome! Staff is friendly and attentive as well.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite while walking on beach with my wife. Shared slider sampler basket and bowl of tomato bisque soup with my wife. It was really good. Burger had nice flavor. A little char on it. Fries were hot and crispy. Glad we came
