Lovely place with the best New York style bagels I’ve had so far! Great selection of fillings and super friendly staff! Highly recommend trying them if you’re anywhere close by!

Having been to B Bagel in London (if you know you know) this had a tall order to fill and fill it did! Came for a quick lunch, wasn't that difficult to find. Upon entering I was warmly welcomed by the server behind the counter who knew I was a first timer and instantly provided guidance on what to order. Noticing the menu and the various cream cheese selections behind the counter it soon became clear on how one constructs their ideal bagel. You first pick your bagel type (I went with the everything because why not?), then your 'schmear' which is a generous spreading of whichever cream cheeses they have have on offer (I picked the jalapeño). You then pick any optional extra toppings (I chose smoked salmon) and then you decide whether to have it either toasted or not toasted (if you're a heathen). The server advised I try a few samples before I chose which was extremely helpful (although still very difficult to choose!)After a few minutes of prep, my glorious creation was ready. It was well worth the wait. Price wise, yes, it's expensive. I think you can see the freshness and quality of the bagels themselves but also the fact that the cream cheese is from a local dairy. It was £9 for my bagel which could get you nearly 3 Tesco meal deals (or is it two nowadays? #cozzylivs). But what I will say is that this one bagel provided wayyyyy more than 3x the satisfaction of 1 Tesco meal deal. So, if you're in the neighbourhood and crave a bagel, then you are committing a cardinal sin by not visiting this gem.

I didn’t know what ‘schmear’ meant but after my experience I will certainly be back for more! The team were friendly & helpful (particularly in explaining & offering tasters of different Schmear 😁) & the bagels… WOW! The last time I had a bagel that good was in New York City! Bagels are large, generously filled and incredibly good! The coffee was dark roasted & smooth, despite the lovely barista wearing most of it 😂 (we had a little laugh about it). Both the bagels & schmear can be purchased together to eat (lunch), or separately to take & make at home. We enjoyed our lunch on the boot as there doesn’t appear to be much seating (the odd bench) around Battlers Green Farm but it was a glorious day so this was a good experience too! Unexpected find that New Yorkers will relate to!

❤️ Best bagels I've ever had. These bagels will ruin other bagels for you. 🌱 And they have gluten-free & vegan options! 🥯 Pictured order: Pumpernickel untoasted, wasabi-dill schmear, with Salmon, lemon & black pepper

Been trying to visit this place since my son told me about it. Today I got there! Really impressed with the layout of the shop and of course it’s products. I was served by the founder, Francesca, who was polite and very informative. Always endearing when you see the owner working! The choices were varied and looked very fresh. The bagels were filled with an over generous portion. Took home to the kids for breakfast. Would definitely revisit.

Exceptional - everything is done to a such a high standard (bagels, schmear, coffee and cookies). A great range of bagels to choose from, but I think the wide range of creative flavours of schmear steals the show - the three I've tried (dill & chive, olive oil & rosemary, wasabi & dill) have all been delicious. Highly recommend buying a small pot of a different flavour to what you put in your bagel to enjoy at home. Overall, I think it's clear that the brain(s) behind the menu are proper foodies, and the result is very, very good. Looking forward to visiting again the new year.

This place is absolutely to die for. Their bagels are incredible - and delicious on another level. One half of their bagel is literally bigger than a regular bagel that you would get from anywhere else. The combination of their ingredients are original and they are clearly top quality. Today I had the good fortune of meeting the founder Francesca who told me a little more about the history of the company which was the icing on the cake for me. Absolutely worth the journey to try one of these out!

One of the best bagels I have ever tasted. I was aware of this place from deliveroo but realising that it was a 10minute drive away, I decided to visit. Great experience, the server allowed me to trial some flavours- and I asked for his recommendations, and he said that the Turkey pastrami was popular. It was so tasty! I have even got a blueberry schmear bagel, I haven't had it yet but I'm sure it will be just as good. Yes it is pricey but as a treat once in a while, it is worth it 👌
