Excellent service from Justyna who waived the early check-in charge due to us having paid a high nightly rate. We were very grateful for this! All staff we interacted with from reception, to restaurant and bar, to cleaning staff were genuinely friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, as was the lunch we had in the restaurant, and the 24 hour bar and restaurant were so welcome after Strictly! I haven't stayed at an Ibis before but will again based on my experience at this hotel.

Rooms were underwhelming, not the standard I'm used to from Ibis hotels. We were given a disabled room at first (not what we had booked because we're not disabled but apparently the rest of the rooms were full), the first room had a funky smell so we changed upon seeing. The second (disabled) room was better, however it lacked in terms of cleanliness. The shower chair was gross, no place to put your shower essentials and the overall bathroom would get flooded after a shower without a floor wiper to get rid of the water. After one night the airco started leaking badly (with 40+ degrees it was very needed) but we couldn't change until the morning. I understand this is something no one could have foreseen so that's not why I rate this hotel lowly. We were moved to another room which smelled like pee, but since it was only one night we didn't feel like changing yet again. Great things were the staff, the big parking lot available and the breakfast. Summary, bed was OK, great that there's airco in the room, missed having a fridge, floor wiper and toilet brush. Service was good, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good.

Had an amazing experience staying here the last two nights. The front of house team of Lim and Cosmin aka the dream team plus the chef (s). They couldn't do enough for you and were always happy to help. I've travelled to a number of hotels for business but I've never come across such happy staff as the folks here. Only thing I'd say is the lighting in the rooms feels very gloomy but for the amount of time your in them it doesn't impact too much. The room was very clean though quite basic but perfectly serviceable.

The hotel is clean and well run. The staff are LOVELY! We had four rooms on floor four. Clean, big bath towels, super shower. The bed was comfy. My one request would be a small retractable mirror fitted to the side of the hanging cupboard for doing make up.

Had a lovely overnight stay after seeing a show in London with a coach company. Easy check in. Room was very nice, plenty of space for clothes spotlessly clean. Bathroom and shower great. Had a great buffet dinner, breakfast was great also wish we had been staying 2 nights. Staff friendly. Thank you

Just come home from 2 nights stay . The hotel is extremely handy for Elstree Studios . It was exceptionally clean and the rooms were well fitted out we had good nights sleep in the comfy bed and the shower was brilliant. Food is available 24 hours a day and tasted great . All the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Great hotel - shower particularly good. Food in bar was also of a very high standard. Service was OK- had to ask a lot of questions as no idea where things were. Not much active signposting going on. Brilliant location for TV studios. Also a great high street nearby. Lots of shops and places to eat. It's about a 25 min walk from Elstree train station. A taxi to the station from the hotel cost me around 6 quid.

Very good. Bathroom was so cute. Slight issue enough room to park car. As on ground floor no net curtains just very big black out curtains velcroed to top so can't really open so I daytime dark in room. If open everyone can see in. Would stay again as great stay. Would have given 5* if parking and curtains weren't issue.

I’ve stayed every week for a few months when working locally. The location is great for working in Elstree & Borehamwood and the hotel is the best one I’ve stayed in here. The staff are always very accommodating and friendly and special shout out to Lim who has been helpful a few times. I can also recommended the restaurant especially the pizzas!

Rock Hard Beds!! & Thin Mattresses!!. Its Overpriced for No Reason at All!! The Quality doesnt Match the Prices they Try To Advertise On the Sign Outside!! Not a Good Location if your looking for a Comfortable Quiet Stay..

Lovely staff very helpful whenever we needed anything, the hotel is very welcoming. With a Bar/restaurant and pool table as well. Every staff member was very polite, can't fault the service provided. If ever I'm in the London area again would stay here again

Hotel is good, rooms spacious and clean. Staff helpful. But breakfast really awful, certain things like mushrooms and hash browns taste and look like they were reheated from yesterday. Not worth £12.

Extremely convenient location for attending strictly come dancing, which is a maximum 5 minutes walk away. Ample parking in the public car park to the rear, which is free with a car park pass from reception. Hotel bar very pleasant. Twin room itself was quite small and dated, and I wasn’t a fan of the pod style bathroom. But it was clean and suited the purpose of our trip.

Very warm welcome on check in. Room is basic. Clean. Comfortable. All amenities as aspected. Great location for Elstree studios. Easy access (strikes permitting) to London.

Not a bad hotel, typical ibis solid pricing and quality. However…. We would have stayed at the bar longer and spent more money if it were warmer!!! Asked the lad behind the bar if he could turn the temperature up but he said that it was controlled centrally and that other people also had asked the same. Come on ibis, turn the temperature up a few notches. We all have to suffer increased energy bills.

Our stay was really good. I am working in Stanmore and brought my lads to stay at this hotel. And it was really good. All the staff are extremely helpful and very easy to get along with. We had such a great time there. I will be using this hotel until my work project has completed.

Just perfect!! I was amazed by the housekeeping staff being so kind. There was Maria with a big smile asking if I need anything. There was Irina who guided me to recharge my key at the reception (she didn’t let me in my room for safety reasons which is very good and thank you for that). This is my second time staying with ibis in Elstree Borehamwood and it’s a lovely place. The location is quite tranquil. The breakfast is amazing. It’s an all you can eat buffet. The service is amazing, Lucia and Apple have such a great personality and very good costumer service. The beds are comfortable and the restaurants and bar are 24/7 wow! Highly recommend

Very clean tidy and warm. The cleaning lady was so sympathetic and charismatic when I was checking out - please tip her, guys - her name is Aurelia. Overall, the atmosphere is great. And legally responsible re. Safeguard of children and data protection. Their food smells delicious but haven’t eaten there though prices are sensible. Unfortunately I was in a rush so I haven’t taken photos but trust me, I had warm sweet dreams, worth staying. Thanks, GW.

It was my first time in a ibis hotel. The rooms are nice. I was impressed by the design of the bathroom they are designed in a futuristic minimalistic style, a bit narrow at some point, but I was impressed. The staff and service is very good I'd say a bit better compared to other hotels. At first you will think that is away from the pubs and restaurants or other attractions, but is just 10 minutes walk from an area with restaurants and pubs. It was nice and confortable to stay there.

We got there early, and they allowed us to check in, however when we got to our room it wasn't clean. Once management had been informed they put us in another room and gave complimentary drinks. Breakfast in the morning was served until 11 and was very good.

Just had a wonderful couple of days here. Staff were wonderful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good facilities, rooms comfortable, within walking distance of football ground (reason we were there) and train station for easy access to London. Calming ambiance and surprisingly quiet for its location

Great service, Great breakfast and Awesome prices!!! The size of the Double room was sufficient. The Room was clean and the en suite shower was a modern refreshing design. The team leader Myuum went above and beyond to make it a comfortable and satisfying stay for us. He and the friendly housekeepers from the fourth floor, guaranteed our recommendation for this hotel, best in the area. Five stars, will surely return.

I stayed here for a night but I wish I stayed longer, from the moment you step into the reception area, it is very welcoming. With the pool table, the branding of the area, the look and feel is really nice. The room is also very nice, I was afraid it would be small, the bathroom is also really cool. How can I forget the breakfast, I had booked my room forgetting to include my wife so I had to pay for her breakfast but it was money well spent. For transportation, there are buses that stop nearby that take you to Tescos or to the Train Station. The hotel is also close to Elstree Studios, very good experience

We have been there only fo one week end. The place is great because you arrive just before getting in London, No traffic. Staff is friendly and professional. Rooms of right size and clean. Unfortunately parking might be paid if they do not have some availability in hotel's. Breakfast has not so many option for continental but is right for English. Price is competitive.

Decent hotel with friendly staff. Good room size which are comfortable and modern. Restaurant is a bit small and could do with being bigger. Sunday the restaurant may as well be closed as has hardly any decent food on..microwave dishes 😮

We had to stay in this hotel during our house renovation. In short, it’s a nice hotel, clean ,compact room, but not too many towels and plugs ,and I missed one more bin in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My favorite thing was a shower cabin, really good. Prices are very suitable and the hotel is very recommended.

Ibis hotels are generally very good. This one is. As a single female traveller I get everything safely under one roof. Very clean, comfortable, nice staff Dog friendly. I didn't like this area very much and didn't venture far, but felt very safe in the hotel.
