What a lovely location looking out over the water to see the sunset colour the sky. We had amazing table service from Steph who looked after our allergies with incredible attention and detail. The drinks and food were delivered quickly and really well made. Definitely will be making this a regular dining location.

Delicious food and an amazing view. If you sit out the back and outside you will enjoy a beautiful view of the beach. It’s also well shaded. Food is fantastic and very yummy. Heaps of space but a reservation ensures you get a good seat. Gluten free is catered for but at Anne hornet any cost of $5 for some GF bread on top of the menu price.

Cafe with large outdoor terrace overlooking the beach. Always a friendly welcome. It would be worth it just for the views and vibe, but the food and drink deliver too. Coffee (black) is consistently top notch. Breakfasts are great too - modern cafe standards, consistently well executed with a few extra touches elevating the quality, whilst restrained enough to not mess with things for the sake of it. Also impressed with their cakes. There is a quiet pride in the quality of everything here. Could be the best all round cafe in Hervey Bay. Certainly always a pleasure coming. Review from many visits.

Absolutely amazing venue for a party! The staff (especially Lauren) and the food were amazing. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for making Mum’s 70th perfect!

Went for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and relaxed. Food was tasty and a good range of meals. The best part was the view over the beach to the yachts moored up on a very flat sea.

Delightful place for our lunch, sitting on a deck in the shade overlooking the beautiful Hervey Bay water. Grab a menu and select a table, then go to the counter to order. We had a couple of milkshakes which were cold, full of flavour and filled to the top. The food was delicious and very generous in portion size, and reasonably priced.

Absolutely beautiful place for a lazy Sunday arvo. Very affordable good wine and amazing food platters. This platter cost us $32. Beautiful food. Will definitely go back. They also had live music.

We had a wonderful brunch at this dog friendly cafe. I had the mushroom eggs Benedict and a latte it was tasty to the last bite and the latte was served in a proper latte glass and was very nice. My wife had the vegetarian breakfast and also really enjoyed the food and coffee Our dog was welcomed which we always really appreciate Would come here again

After a few hiccups with my dietary requirement of being Coeliac everything was great at the end and rectified so I could safely eat. Staff lovely. View of the ocean lovely. Food is top notch!

Aquavue has an amazing spot. The atmosphere was great but it could be better. The menu was disappointing, not catered for a dinner service. I think they need to review the menu. We called ahead for reservations and was told inside was fully booked. We arrived and were empty tables inside. This place could be incredible. This place needs to make a few changes for it to happen.

Very special setting by the seaside. Beautiful ocean views 30 metres away from where you dine. Lovely food & awesome thickskakes in old-fashioned steel tumblers.

We had our wedding at Aquavue over the weekend and the staff and venue were amazing ! The sunset over the bay views were perfection! All my guests had the most wonderful time, staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic and as were all the drinks. I would 100% recommend Aquavue to anyone considering a Hervey Bay wedding!

Went to Aqua view with friends from Victoria and the food was delicious and we enjoyed every minute of our visit,. Right on the beach, dog friendly what more could one ask for 11/10

Sorry to be negative- but our 2 scones and 2 drinks that cost $34, deserved plates that didn’t have numerous chips. One plate had 8 chips, the other 10. The scones were over-microwaved in that they were tough. Thank goodness we asked for butter ($2 extra each for 3 curls) to help soften them. Spray can cream is never great 😳 Thank goodness for the view, the waitress who delivered the food was lovely, and the ibises were not prolific (again thanks to staff). I know it was ‘only’ scones and drinks and we pay for the view - but a little attention to the quality would be great. Our date of visit was the 12/6/2023 (time stamp as per photos taken). Not some time ago as response from the venue advises. Let’s hope that the plates have been replaced 🙂

This is such a great cafe to relax on a Sunday morning! I had delicious berry pancakes. The coffee wasn’t hot enough for me though. But the view from this waterfront cafe is breathtaking and you can melt away all your stress if you have any… I’m a local resident and always recommend this cafe to my friends. I also went back to lunch and was absolutely delighted with their “Prawn & Mango” salad! Delicious and healthy!! Highly recommend it!!!

The service terrible. No one teaching new staff. Terrible value for money. Waited nearly 1 hour for stake sandwich, friends had already finished meals. Scallops were tiny 3 for $18 and the size of 10 cent peice. Never to return.

Lovely vegetarian dish....with bacon! Highly recommend it . EDIT.....Very long wait this morning just to order meals. There must be a better way to order. People getting frustrated standing in a queue. But meals still great.

Food was tasty, it’s a shame the cocktail came out half full. Maybe smaller glass would have made it more appealing. View was lovely. Staff friendly.

A great little place to sit and have a meal, or a drink, while you watch the water. Aquavue Café Restaurant is right on the water, and dog friendly. The two of us and our little dog were welcomed in (without a reservation) for a light lunch, settling on the nachos and a few beers. We cleaned the plate! We will be back!

Great place for lunch - view was amazing. I had the steak sandwich ($25) - a great steak sandwich (and I have had a few) other food was pretty good too and service was excellent. Well done.
