This is a great restaurant and bar, that is located in Hesperia! It is located at the entrance to the city. I have been here many times, while visiting my relatives, who live in High Desert. The meals were, usually, well-cooked. At the same time, they were delicious. The cocktails, too, were well-made. Usually, when I would come, there were ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal or a drink. In addition, the bartenders were helpful and courteous. The crowd, in this establishment, is not too rowdy. So, in my books, this is a definitely a good bar to visit. At the same, the prices were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in High Desert, I would recommend a visit to this establishment, especially on weekends.

This was a COOL spot. It's not too small, somewhat spacious but not too big. There's a dance floor. The DJ was on point! He seamlessly mixed old school classics with current hip hop. The drinks were a little strong, which could be good or bad. All n all in glad I checked it out.

If you're not a regular, don't bother. You aren't welcome. My wife and I were looking for someplace we'd never been to and thought we'd try it. We sat at the bar. Service is usually pretty good when you sit at the bar. It wasn't. we finally ordered a drink. Weak. We ordered brisket fries since the cooker was going outside and figured they'd be fresh. We were hungry. 45 minutes later they came out from the kitchen. But, instead of giving them to us, they delivered them to a table where the people had just sat down about 15 minutes ago. They were regulars because everybody knew everybody. When we mentioned it to the bartender who made a brief appearance, she said they were coming right up. This told me she/they knew exactly what they were doing and wanted to make sure we didn't come back. Don't worry. We won't.

First time in here. Was pleasantly surprised. Nice bar, atmosphere and bartender was attentive and smiling to everyone. Didn't her her name, but I will next time I go. Update 08/20/22. My wife and I went in for lunch. The place was almost empty. About 6 customers. We ordered. Our order took a little over 30 minutes. My wife ordered the 8 oz Flat Iron steak. It was good but baked potato came out minutes later. You'll see picture. I had the Burger from Hell. That was also good. Complaint here is that we pointed the waitress that order took too long. She left and came back saying she had planned on quitting but because of us. We made it easy for her to quit. She said. " I just quit". Well she made this whole experience very uncomfortable that we didn't enjoy our meal. So we won't be going back.

This place is so good and everyone was very friendly. The owner even had a few tequila shots with me.

I've never had such a bar of food in my life the bar itself was a great place until I tried the food. The food was way overpriced from what for what I got. I ordered it took me 45 minutes to get my plate everyone else had already eaten and I set there waiting. The fries were delicious and that I've been into my pastrami sandwich and about broke my teeth. The top of the sandwich was fine but the bottom red was so hard I cannot bite through it I had to break it with my hands. the sandwich was so Dry. The only good thing on it was the pastrami and cheese. Hopefully they can improve their food because I will be back because that's where a lot of people I know go.

Had their nachos and tacos at the bar and a few drinks. Atmosphere and food was great and so was the bartender.

Me and the wife were only there for a couple drinks, but it seemed like a pretty decent bar service was a little slow but they were busy so it's kind of expected. It would have been nice to get our drinks a lot faster though

Mozzarella sticks great. Lots of space, seating, & patio seating. But service is a 👎. Place wasn't even busy, yet the wait to get drinks at bar & table was ridiculous.

We called in an order of 2 burgers, one with a side of onion rings instead of fries.. picked it up, drove 7 minutes home and were absolutely dissatisfied with what we opened.... first and foremost - there were no onion rings! We paid extra for them as they were a "premium side" No worries, I will happily pay for something I know we will enjoy! Secondly the food was ice cold... not the food sat for 5-10 minutes (we were told a 30 min to pick it up, we decided to be there in 20) the burgers were both soggy, top and bottom - just absolutely disgusting... We had also both requested the burgers be medium rare, mine was very well done and his was more on the done side... This was our first, and our last time trying this place -10/10 If you want an AMAZING burger try REPUBLIC!!!

To start out this place seems very biker bar and the waitress wasn’t very inviting. The only time I got more out of her than just what would you like is when I paid. It’s very clicky here and I would say the food is just mediocre. Our food was barely warm and the lettuce was soggy on our burgers. They also apparently don’t know the drinks on their own menu. Wanted to Larry this place forever and now I can say I have and I won’t need to again.

My wife and I went to The Whiskey Barrel and had a great server named Julie at 3 p.m. on 24 September 2018. We were greeted quickly with a sincere smile and concurrent drink fillups in making sure we were taken care of. We have posted many pictures showing the great ambiance and great food. We ordered the full rack of Ribs with their homemade BBQ sauce, salad with all the fixings with their homemade Ranch salad dressing, and we substituted the steak fries and Cole slaw for loaded mashed potatoes and vegetable mix. You know how when you go to a restaurant and when you get a salad and they might as well of given you just a head of lettuce? Not here! You get a fresh salad mix with spinach, tomatoes, cheese, onions, cucumber and black oli es. The ribs were juicy with their homemade BBQ sauce, and their loaded mashed potatoes were real!, topped with green onions and cheese. This was the best 25.00 we have ever spent. Julie was also one of the best servers we have come across and she was very knowledgeable about past and current entertainment venues right there at the whiskey barrel. Do not let the empty tables in my pictures fool you. The place is packed in the evening with drink specials definitely to keep you coming back again and again. So far this is a great place. Live band friendly atmosphere, really no complaints.

Stopped in for a celebratory lunch with my daughter on a Friday around noon. It was pretty empty, but the food was great, and the bartender/waitress was very friendly. I understand the location is normally packed.. we picked a good time to visit. Would recommend.

First great location and great food. 1200 lunch visit. Bathroom was disgusting, trash full to the top and smelly for opening time(not serving daily?) Cook took 20 mins after ordering total of 6 people in the place. Locals first type of place but I'd come back for sure if in the area.

Our first time here, loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant. Servers were busy because we were there for a party and they did a fantastic job. Bartender had a full line of patrons and still found the time to help us when we asked for drinks. Definitely will be visiting again.

Stopped in Whiskey Barrel on a Friday evening while on a road trip. Not sure what to expect. Food was very good and service was top notch. We had a very pleasant server named Kim who took great care of us. I can imagine that this place really rocks later in the evening, but I'll bet it's fun.

I have been at this establishment many times. I would visit this restaurant, when I would visit my relatives in High Desert. The meals, that I would order, were usually delicious. At the same time, they were priced well. Furthermore, during my visits, there was ample of space to sit down. Either at the bar, or table, and enjoy the drink or meal. They have a good selection of hamburgers. Of course, without burgers, they also have good options of chicken wings. From the drink side, they make good cocktails, and those cocktails are fairly priced. Of course, they carry the basic beer brands too. The waitresses, who worked during my visit, were helpful and attentive. So, if anyone is in High Desert region, or on the way to Vegas, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant!

This place is awesome! I've been to punk shows ,fight nights, and just to grab a few beers and some amazing vegan food. Highly recommend

Never going there again. The waitress was nice. But they took forever with our food. We must have waited for an hour and a half and my burger still wasn't cooked all the way and the fries were cold and stale. So I just told them nevermind the food and paid my bill and left. They make you wait forever so you keep buying booze. But I wasn't there for drinks I was hungry.

Cool bar, friendly people and great food. The food is very good. I see 1 stars for bad service. It’s a bar that serves food, not a restaurant. Honesty, it’s great for what it is. 👍👍

New club promotions bring exciting relevant music entertainment for the whole family.

We came for wing Wednesday today. They had 50% off wings! All the wings were fantastic, so yummy! We tried spicy garlic, tangy Buffalo, whiskey and sweet chile. All so delicious. The cocktails were also really good and worth it price wise. We are so glad we came to try it. The atmosphere was so chill and they are kid friendly. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

The cocktails, that I would order, would usually be well-made. Furthermore, the meals were splendid and delicious. At the same time, those meals were not on the expensive side. Of course, cocktails were. Nevertheless, since they were good, I did not mind spending my funds on those cocktails. The bartenders, who worked during my visits, were helpful, attentive, and friendly. Definitely, if anyone visits High Desert region, I would recommend a visit to this establishment!
