Worst hospital ever my family member 95 yrs old last month was sent home and my father needed a defibrillator and they never diagnosed it. Nurse spent one hour trying to read his blood pressure and when I complained. That same night he was sent home. Only a few days later I took him to a different hospital reason they couldn't take his blood pressure was because he was in critical condition and needed a defibrillator. I even requested a heart specialist and nobody ever came to see him. I requested a transfer to a heart specialist they said they didn't do that. Please don't bring your family member here. My father passed away at a different hospital. This hospital is disgusting my dad was never transferred to a heart specialist hospital he was sent home. 😡😡😡

You can die while driving around the parking lot trying to find a place to park, so go straight to the very end of the parking lot, that will save time. Other than that, great and fast attention, no queue. Dr Khilnani was able to accuratelly diagnose my severe cough and prescribe medicine that actually worked. That Dr knows what he's doing. He speaks a little Spanish too and makes a great effort to communicate succesfully with Spanish speakers patients. XR technician was very kind and sweet. No queue at the pharmacy, takes a little time for them to receive the prescriptions on their system though.

The nurses are so great. They truly went above and beyond to make sure i felt well taken care off. This hospital has improved their services from my last visit and it shows in their staff and how much they care.

Since I arrived at Larkin Hospital Palm Springs the medical staff has been nothing but respectful, loving and very attentive. Highly recommend this facility for future medical needs. Rey Starr is the coordinator who gave me the opportunity to get into Larkin Hospital to begin my treatment. Mr. Starr has been very helpful and knowledgeable in this process. I am very thankful and blessed to have come into contact with Mr. Starr. Larkin Hospital Palm Springs is very fortunate to have a coordinator like Mr.Starr on the team. I had a very good experience at Larkin Palm Springs. I came here to stabilize my MAT medications before going to treatment. The Doctors listened to my needs and helped me tremendously. My nurses Aimee Suarez and Isabel Acosta were very compassionate to my needs. They were the best.

Took my son because he was getting high fevers, the staff was exceptional and caring. Had ny son seen by like 3 different doctors and several nurses. If you come here you are in great hands! Edited to add: I came here for myself now and again the care was exceptional, the same as it was for my son. Totally recommend this hospital a million times! These doctors really care about you and want you to get better.

Rey Starr and the staff at Larkin Hospital inpatient detox are amazing. His professionalism, kindness and compassion in helping others getting help throughout the entire process giving them his support and care. Rey is one of those humans you pray for when anyone you love is in a crisis. Just a gem!

I was in the ER last night with my friend and the service was very professional. The staff was very understanding and the process was smooth!

My wife and I had gastric bypass surgery recently and I would like to say that the lady at the registration department made our experience unique because she explained everything very well, my wife was very nervous and thanks to the positive attitude of the registration girl and The good explanation with all the details that he gave us made my wife calm down and relax. I recommend that all registration departments be like this young lady. No matter what happens to her she always smiles like her. I forgot her name, but she is Cuban with black hair. 100% recommended Larkin Hospital at Hialeah.

My grandpa was rushed to this hospital for a surgery and the hospital has been great at taking care of him. The surgery was a success and the recovery process has been great as well. The attention has been superb from all nurses and staff.

I would like to congratulate the MSU detox program on the wonderful job they do. I refer patients to Rey Starr and he goes above and beyond that everything is taking care of according. The feedback from the referrals I’ve sent have all been positive. I would recommend them to anyone in need of detox.

I can’t leave the hospital within thanks enough Mr . Iliac RN for his excellent job with my mom during ER and ICU care . He is an assets to this hospital . God keep blessing him and his family .

This hospital is old but keep very clean. I have been here for 5 Days. The MDs here are great. They are very helpful and just GREAT 👍. The RN's you really need to speak Spanish if you are going to be here more than a few hours. A few didn't realize I know Spanish. I would listen to a couple female RN talk bad 😡 about me and some other patients. These RNs wouldn't even get up to get me a sandwich or juice when I was hungry. (This was not just happening to me) If it wasn't for them I would give more stars but they where 😞.

ER was great. The nurses were great Mon til Friday. But Thursday I had some issues wirh the nurse from 7-7pm

The best crew ever , even tough isn’t a new hospital they keep it clean ,they go extra miles to make you feel as home . Thanks to you all for having my 88 years old Mom treated as a closer part of your family .

Took my grandma there after she experienced a fall at home. The nursing staff from the ER and the floor where she was later admitted to was very helpful and pleasant to my 82 year old loved one. This is a teaching hospital, and the medical staff with the residents go above abs beyond on patient care. I highly recommend this hospital.

I am forever grateful to Michelle Pruez and Larkin Hospital. With the Marchman Act, they took in a very sick man addled by decades of drugs and drinking. They cared for him with respect and compassion, though many would say he didn't deserve it. Michelle, through her actions and words, reminded me to put away resentment and peacefully get him the help he needs, with complete assistance from the court and BSO. The Marchman Act, Michelle's commitment, and Larkin Hospital are to be commended for their exceptional service to the community, the families of the addicted , and the addicted themselves . No respect of patients right to provide information. Waiting 4 hours with my grandmother in the ER and no one comes to explain what’s going on. They just do whatever test they want and don’t say anything. Asked who is the nurse and if they can provide information and they just turn their face and ignore my request. Frankly, this is what I expected of this place with the bad reputation. Worse is having to hear the nurses fight with one another. After 5 hours a DR comes to ask what are the reasons we are at the hospital ….any hospital would be a better choice. Lesson learned, must instruct your ALF to not send patients here.

On 10/24/2022, I went to the hospital because my primary doctor is the director of the residents of the hospital. I was suffering of back pain due to kidneys stones. When I arrived to the Emergency Room around 9:20 am I was in pain, they started doing the laboratories and a CT scan. I had my results in a timely manner, and they gave me pain medications and antibiotics. Admitted to third floor south where they very welcoming. Some employees on the hallways my nurse, my tech and the charge nurse. The residents were incredibly professionals, call light answered very soon and always with a smile. I am very thankful for all the employees that took an excellent care of me.

My experience with this hospital was far beyond what you would expect from a hospital. Ray Starr, the director of business development helped with not only my insurance and transportation to and from my hospital stay, but was also a key source of motivation for me. Dr. Rosanna Lopez inspired me with the simplest words, She came at a time when I needed extra guidance and touched me in a very unique way. Her caring eyes, said what I needed to know. I’ve been to a few hospitals due to a motorcycle accident a few years back and i can say that even the nurses were exceptional. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who wants the best care.

My mother was in this hospital for one night to recover from a surgery. The admitting staff and process was efficient. The surgical staff and Dr. Renfrow was excellent. Unfortunately, the medical staff that was in charge of my mother was lacking in professionalism and care. We had to practically beg for an extra blanket and a cup of water. The bathroom was very unclean. The room had uncomfortable, broken-down chairs for the patients to sit in. Overall, I was in shock at the whole third floor experience.

I went to the Emergency Department last night and the nurses were amazing. They treated me with compassion, were very attentive, and kept me informed throughout the stay. The doctor was very caring as well.

I cannot express how thankful I am for how they are treating my family member at Larkin. Very special thanks to nurse Aimee Suarez who has gone above and beyond. It is nurses like her who actually go the extra mile that make a huge difference and this hospital is definitely lucky to have her. Thanks Aimee for how much you do and care for your patients.

Aimee Suarez was more caring and informative than most of the rest. She helped a lot because between night and day, things are disorganized between communication and action which also means between the different floors. They did the best they could do though and I appreciate everything they did for me. Thank you for my freedom! 😀🙏 amen !

A wonderful, clean and quiet place to detox. Private room with TV w/only Medicare. Doctors, Nurses and entire staff were extremely polite and caring! And if course a 10+ to my favorite spicy PR Aimee! Thanks for your encouragement

This was the dirtiest hospital I have ever been in. I was in a private room (that I paid extra for) and the bathroom was filthy. They had no towels, soap, or toothpaste. We asked the staff for these things numerous times, and we were told we would have them "right away" and we never got them. The blankets were thin and the rooms were very cold. The chair that was in the room for me to use was broken and uncomfortable. The admitting and the surgical staff were professional and helpful but on the third floor the staff was negligent. They said that they were there to serve me and smiled politely but never attended my needs.

Aimee Suarez my nurse for the past 2 days has been wonderfull she. Has been caring responsive an attentive. In addition she went out of her way and found to items that were considered lost by all other staff member. I am very grateful for having her as my nurse. My deepest recommendation of her.

At the MSU detox program, I had the privilege of being cared for by an amazing nurse. Amy Suarez exuded professionalism and made me feel right at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking compassionate and comforting care during their detox journey.

My family member was her for 4 days . The doctors attending where all students did not even know what they where doing the food was so nasty that we would throw it away and go to el palacio de los jugo to buy food the bathroom water faucet when we turned on the hot water we stayed with the twist knob in our hand very filthy and un kept . We had to be in back of the nurses every thirty minues because they would not follow up with the patient . Wanted to gove kudos to Sitters Roy and Albira were excellent. My brother has mental challenges and they were caring. Maritza in Medical Record was great attitude and help me obtain his records. Kenia Case Management was vey helpful and work very hard to get my brother placed. Thank you all for the great experience i had.

The MSU program for detox was the best experience I’ve ever had. The staff was so nice, they took care of me. I’m speechless and would recommend this place to anyone in need, especially if they are in the predicament I was in.

My uncle was hospitalized at Larkin Hospital in Hialeah from a Nursing Home where he was bedbound with a Foley and developed a urine infection. The nurses and doctors were very professional, he was given medications to treat the infection and other medication that assisted him in removing the Foley. My uncle is making progress, walking few steps and put up some weight with their exceptional food, especially the soups. He doesn't have the Foley anymore. This was possible because of the exceptional care given by the nurses, doctors and the social workers. Thank you.

My stay at Larkins Hospital detox center was very professional. From the doctors, to the nurses, technicians and even the cleaning crew were professional and very kind.
