El Rey De Las Fritas

Restaurant Breakfast restaurant Hamburger restaurant Brunch restaurant Cuban restaurant

👍 We usually visit El Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8 and wanted to try this location. While our experience was good, we noticed a few differences: food is tastier at the Calle 8 location, like the Frita is juicier; also, at Calle 8 staff are way friendlier and the overall atmosphere of the place is more... People often mention fritas, Fritas, good, Miami, frita,

We usually visit El Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8 and wanted to try this location. While our experience was good, we noticed a few differences: food is tastier at the Calle 8 location, like the Frita is juicier; also, at Calle 8 staff are way friendlier and the overall atmosphere of the place is more vibrant. In general, we enjoyed our fritas and highly recommend this place, but we find a more pleasurable experience visiting the Rey de las Fritas at Calle 8.

El Rey de las Fritas is definetely positively the very Best......and the rest of the menu is also as good as the Fritas,,,,try the Frituras de Maiz, malanga, yuca frita...the juices and food.

Tasty, delightful, real Cuban cuisine. If you want to know what real typical Miami Cuban food is DON’T GO TO LA CARRETA OR CASAVANA. Go to EL REY DE LAS FRITAS. Any cuban in Miami- Hialeah - Havana will tell you. The fritas are a sandwich made of Smashed pork sausage with a dark red orange color toped with crunchy potato fries and cuban bread. You can also get a fried egg on top and or a slice of american cheese. Sandwiches are a little bigger than white castle burgers and smaller than a Mcdees cheese burger. Its worth the 15 minute ride or if your from out of town. Peace and good eatings. Thumbs up this review if helpful. 👍🏼

Best Cuban fritas, a classic, light bread, Julianne potatoes fries and the perfect meat/chorizo patty that makes a frita cubana. They don't call the place rey de las fritas (king of fritas) for nothing. Honest review it's always the hole in the wall type places that have theist food. La mejor frita cubana por algo lo llaman el rey de las fritas.

The fritas here are wonderful! Guys, this is a small old Cuban place in Hialeah. One of those where you were able to get a colada at the window instead of walking in...I gave it 5 stars bc the food is good, the servers are real and not there to provide 5-star dining...they smile, they are nice, get the original frita!

A staple of Miami, and it never disappoints! When I go with my boyfriend, we get a little of everything! Recently went and got there Chicken Noodle Soup on a rainy day, and wow! I ordered one to go for lunch the next day (or not 😂).

Amazing classic Cuban Miami spot! I've been eating the Fritas for almost 20 years now and never had a better one anywhere else!

For 6 people they charged $162 and in little havanas rey de las fritas dont be charging you $162. THIS IS the first and last time i eat in HERE @ rey de las fritas HIALEAH. They also charge u 5 dollar tips per person WITHOUT letting you know, along with that they make the fritas early in the morning buy the time its served its burnt and nasty. Bad Food Service

I ordered to go. I had a media noche and my husband had a frita with cheese. We ordered before we got there for pick up and still had to wait. So come with patience if you want good food and service

This is such a cute place with delicious and unique food you can get for cheap! We ordered tamales, empanadas, and sandwiches and were very happy with our order and were so full we had to get to go boxes. We also got the pineapple juice and the soursop shake which were so fresh and addictive. The workers and other customers are also very friendly!

Slow and they act like they don't want you here. But the food is okay. Not outstanding just ok. It is also really expensive for the area.

The Frita was tender and well cooked and the crispy fries between is very good. Looks like I'll be coming back to this place again.

The best Frita in Miami, the Planet and possibly the Universe! Ever wonder why UFOs - UAPs come to earth? You guessed it. To get some Fritas. They are worth a trip from anywhere. ET was working for Uber Eats from his planet.

Amazing soft sandwiches that beat no other spot. They make the food as you request it. This place is also very clean which is why I love eating here. It's my second time this week and I will continue coming.
